I'm sad because the baseball playoffs precluded K9 COPS and kept me from observing hound heroes in action Hounding Around: Walter the Hound's World

Snowy is a little maltese. Every dog needs a little time to breeze....

Lando, a dog we know

A few of us all got together on Easter Sunday night for fires and coffee... the dogs came out too

Holly, Ivy, Sonia, and Neeko. I made this as wall paper for my computer. The actual scene took place on their mattress next to my bed. I superimposed the dogs over the dunes that are one of the built in desktop pictures that came with windows. You might call them, Microsoft Dogs!

This is the most adorable puppy I have ever met. Her name is Ida and she is the bosses dog.

She had a grand time going through my toy bag and she found her favorite right away. A pink screaming monkey.

... Gael ... the brand new border collie puppy from friends of ours :)

Prairie Dogs by Adam Turow

Using their color vision, Prairie dogs can detect predators from a far distance and then alert other prairie dogs to the danger with a special, high-pitched call. Prairie dogs use a sophisticated system of vocal communication to describe specific predators. Prairie dogs also trim the vegetation around their colonies to remove any cover for predators.

Lab pups (sister & Brother)

On a roundabout near Canary Wharf, Isle of Dogs.

The Traffic Light tree was created by French sculptor Pierre Vivant and has been here since 1998. It confuses tourists and people who haven't seen it before, as it's on a roundabout, but it's just a piece of art. I found it quite sinister. I dunno why, maybe that's just me.

- the traffic lights are constantly changing from red to amber to green every second or so. I didn't know if it was real for the first 10 seconds when I got to it! I just stopped the car lol

Couper is a Search and Rescue Dog with Southwest Search Dogs in San Diego, California. You can see the collection here. In addition to Vizsla's like Couper, we have a wide variety of other breeds, from mixed to nationally-ranked show dogs. Here's a video (WMV) of Cielo, our other Vizsla, "relaxing" after a training in the Cuyamaca Mountains, East of San Diego. Cuyamaca was hard hit by the 2003 Cedar Fire and you can see some evidence in the video, but you can also see that it is recovering nicely. Fortunately, the 2007 fires didn't reach this far.
