Animated Conversation - Buddy meets puppy Ka$h for the first time at my home. Vicki and Levi's new pup was all for interaction with our terrier. Ka$h is a purebreed pit bull, only 8 weeks old.

One of things a Newf can do with drool - body art:) We won't discuss the "art" he puts on our walls.....

Kaleb loves to weave, I love the faces he makes when weaving!

Jeff, before he found heaven in the form of a dead frozen rabbit.

She's got it, oh baby, she's got it.

Over the summer, I found out I'd been spelling Bailey's name wrong all my life... She's actually a "Baylee"! To my credit, her owners often default to Bailey when writing it so I only realized it when I came across one of her vet bills while doggy-sitting a few weeks ago. I wondered if I should go back and correct her name on Flickr, but then I realized I kinda prefer the traditional spelling and I'd just confuse myself. Maybe when the project is over I'll edit everything, but for now we'll stick with what we thought we knew.

Only four more months to go, woo!

They were doing obedience training - this boy was ready

I am 9 months old today. And not long ago I was a little puppy...

Hoje faço 9 meses, e não faz muito tempo que era um pequeno filhotinho!

Fun in the snow - bright idea - lets tie the dogs to the laundry basket and see if they'll pull us. Didn't work well. We live in Texas and having a sled is not the norm. We have to make due with whatever we can come up with.

....comparing this pic with her looks of today

one can see dogies growing older, however,

without them changing their beautiful character!

it's pronounced "Allie," for some reason

And I musn't forget the dogs! I didn't see as many of them as cats, but they are there, everywhere.

At the beginning of the last century, it was ordered that they should all be rounded up, sent to one of the seven islands & left there. But people thought this was terribly inhumane as there was no food for them there, so they were returned to the city, tagged, inoculated & speyed. (You can just see an orange ear tag in the photo.)

They are mostly very passive, friendly when approached but do not seem to seek the presence of humans as the cats do. I find this a bit worrying, as dogs are people oriented usually.

A bit of Monckus 50mm f1.4 action, lol.
