Looking through the old photos I realized in this one. All is gone now. Lady on the right (8/13/09) Daizy on the left (11/20/12) The truck I sold in July 2007. The tent I finally wore out the year after this was taken. And I've only camped here one other time. sigh

We adopted Sherman from a local shelter in about 1990. We later learned that his mother was a purebred Old English Sheepdog, and his father was a twenty year old Collie. When we brought him home, he weighed 43 lbs., when he was done growing, he weighed 115 lbs. He was considerably larger than the standard for either breed. We have never had a more gentle, or more intelligent dog. He has been gone for ten years now, and I still miss him. He was under a year old in these pictures.

A series of photos im working on for a book "Dogs of Angell Woods" to help save a wooded area on the west island of Montreal.
I cannot believe he is 2 years and 1 month old! Nor can I believe that we went an ENTIRE year without pictures - goes to show how hard of a year it was for us all!
Rory went to Ditton DTC Open Obedience show today and came 3rd in the KC Special Pre-Beginner Stakes ( 2nd Anything but a Collie). Then followed this by coming 2nd to a Collie in the Pre-Beginner Class.
Both he and Florence have just missed out on qualifying for the Stakes Semi Final at Discover Dog at Earls Court in November this year.
This pitbull pup was an absolute blast. He stuck his nose right up in my camera and I got fortunate enough, seeing as I had it on automatic focus, that it chose to give me perfect detail of the nose. Regardless, it is one of my favorite pictures so far in my puppy series. He was the most photogenic of the group. Puppies really do convey some of the best emotions because they are so raw. It's quite fun to get this close.
