I didn't have much photo mojo today, but the flowers were pretty :-)

My Great Camera Club and FLICKR Mate Richard let me have a go with his 'All-Singing-All-Dancing' CANON 7D Digital + canon EF 85mm f1.8 lens WOW ! we set : Cloudy White Balance. Single Shot, ISO 400, 'AV' auto Exposure, f4 and I could understand all that ! so I took a few Street Snaps here in LockDown BRENTWOOD England . They were 'RAW' but I used FastStone Image Viewer to convert to JPegs -- see -- I'm LEARNING all this DIGITAL STUFF and one day I will be a 'Cool DUDE' !!

The Pharaoh-girls were escaping all the time since they wanted to go over to our neighbour’s dogs, so we firmly keept them indoors. For all they cared…. :). They could still keep an eye on the action and it was warmer indoors anyway.

Are we goin, are we goin, are we goin?

I know what she's thinking, " are we there yet"? Lol.

How did that cat get in our t.v. Ollie? he could be your long lost father Rufus, he has the same colour coat.

Two dogs waiting for their owner to come back

This dog lived on the street almost her entire life until my mother in law adopted her. She is very sweet. Brazil 2013

Rufus has a kiss then Ollie has to have a kiss too.

Decided to wash their beds today, so they decided to lay on a postage stamp size back door mat!

As usual Ruby is Phoebe's comfort blanket!

Poor old Ruby!

Do you think that a coffee would make her faster?

She’s so tired those days…

So lazy…

She drives me crazy!

Luckily there’s no one at the beach to look at our bickering!

Ciao belli!

These critters were at a game park just outside of Johannesburg, South Africa. Our guide indicated that any attempt to domesticate these dogs failed miserably. They are excellent hunters, and as such are endangered in the wild since ranchers have not appreciated their hunting skills when it comes to their herds and flocks.

This is a do-over of an older shot for my recent Animal Portrait series. Tonally tweeked in Luminar2018.

Halle Lu trivia: she's been very curious of my crochet and knitting lately, not taken much interest in it before

Hi! I'm Jack (from Our 3 Dogs) and it's our 3 y/o birthday today!

...apologies to Nacho Libre.

OK, so when a dog goes into heat, it can be messy, as one might imagine. And it turns out several manufacturers make so-called dog diapers a.,k.a. bitches britches in an attempt to solve the problem. However, our experience has been that dog diapers are ill-fitting, uncomfortable and humiliatingly unfashionable.

A far better solution? 2T to 3T todler boy's underpants. You put them on your dog "backwards," thus the opening accommodates the tail.

When I went to take out the garbage I saw these two cute faces;-) I'm sure they wanted to help. Simon always closes his eyes when he gets his nose in the snow, it's really quite comical. I guess he doesn't like the cold!

Abandoned Abused Street Dogs.

Every other day I am still going out to care for the temple dogs.

Some days it rains an some days it really rains, making for a difficult an dangerous commute .

The bingo room acts as an oasis giving much needed shelter from the storms.

Photo is on one of the nuns porches where she likes to hand feed kibble to the dogs.

Kidding, Bello's not glaring. He's chewing on a corn cob that was thrown out for the squirrels/birds. But he thinks they are personally all for him. Ya know, last week he was chewing on an almost gone cow hoof. Hopefully next week we can keep him from chewing and taking pictures.

This is my best attempt at a snow picture, and even though there is still snow on the ground, I give up. My fingers get to cold (can't wear gloves and focus well) to fast and Bello is not the best model. Wish he didn't have to have a leash, but I think after last weeks "adventure" you all realize it is vital.

So here is my formal introduction for 52 Weeks of Dogs (since I skipped it last week in order to keep it short after talking about Bello):

My name is Erica, and I'm 16. Animals are my passion, but my own animals come before any others.

And that fellow is Bello. Which means Beautiful/Handsome in Italian. No, I did not want to name him Bella. Though he constantly gets called Bella cause he is rather feminine looking and sounding. ;D I adopted him from a shelter going on 5 months ago (on the 23rd it will have been). He's a trouble maker, but fits perfectly into our life (if you just remember to keep a leash on him). And we are pretty sure he is a husky/schnauzer/poodle mix. Though I don't know how much I like telling people that, because it terrifies me that people might want to try and "replicate" him. The whole blue eye and pure white gene is dangerous. And we are lucky that he doesn't haven't hearing problems (unless you count selective hearing) or any blindness.

Talk about last minute upload! haha please ignore the fact that the focus point is in her whiskers! :))

Okay so maybe the colors in this are photoshopped just a tad. These plants are actually really bright green. But I wanted something to show that Fall is finally getting here in the south of Brazil and temperatures are finally starting to drop, and I'm loving it. Pretty sure the dogs are enjoying it, too. My furkids and I do NOT like the heat :) Now if only we could make it snow...
