I arrived at my new home yesterday! I used to be Mr. Purple. My new big fancy name is Allegro's Walk on Water "Walker" I am a flat coated retriever and just turned 9 weeks old today. My new parents are very excited to have me join their family. I met my big brother Painter yesterday and he is super cool. We met at a ball field that was filled with snow. I seem to really really love the snow. My first night I did real good, did not cry much and slept most of the night :) My family is looking foward to all the new adventures that I will bring and all the love I have to share.
So everyone here's a bit of an oldie I can't sau I really like it but Biscuit is just too cute! I thought I would post one more photo and catch up with your streams before out power goes out for 3 days. This cyclone Yasi is going to be as big as hurricane Katrina...I'm still not nervous, just excited. Everything's prepared...windows taped, everything inside. And the dogs, who never wear colors apart from walkies time, are wearing collars just in case...plus the vet was very nice to give us a tag for free for Bikky, obviously it's not a great one, but good enough for now! Plus the reason for the old shot is that my camera is packed away with the rest of my special stuff, like Lassie's belongings and old photos and stuff just in case we have to evacuate. There's going to be a high tide, we're a few streets down from the beach but I really wouldn't be surprised if we get flooding or even flash flooding...so better be safe than sorry I say!
Reuben was a rescue dog - his previous owner passed away and he was about 2 years old when he joined our family. I don't think he had ever seen the beach before, and he just ran & ran & ran some more
I really want to include more work like this into my portfolio. This shot has a number of technical flaws and there are a few things I would have done differently if I could do it again, but I think it worked out well enough for me to present to the client. I hope they like it!
