I arrived at my new home yesterday! I used to be Mr. Purple. My new big fancy name is Allegro's Walk on Water "Walker" I am a flat coated retriever and just turned 9 weeks old today. My new parents are very excited to have me join their family. I met my big brother Painter yesterday and he is super cool. We met at a ball field that was filled with snow. I seem to really really love the snow. My first night I did real good, did not cry much and slept most of the night :) My family is looking foward to all the new adventures that I will bring and all the love I have to share.
So everyone here's a bit of an oldie I can't sau I really like it but Biscuit is just too cute! I thought I would post one more photo and catch up with your streams before out power goes out for 3 days. This cyclone Yasi is going to be as big as hurricane Katrina...I'm still not nervous, just excited. Everything's prepared...windows taped, everything inside. And the dogs, who never wear colors apart from walkies time, are wearing collars just in case...plus the vet was very nice to give us a tag for free for Bikky, obviously it's not a great one, but good enough for now! Plus the reason for the old shot is that my camera is packed away with the rest of my special stuff, like Lassie's belongings and old photos and stuff just in case we have to evacuate. There's going to be a high tide, we're a few streets down from the beach but I really wouldn't be surprised if we get flooding or even flash flooding...so better be safe than sorry I say!
At the end of the week, Myles and his two Standard poodle sisters. Kiera and Lexi are heading to Pennsylvania or is it Poodsylvania? to attend a Flickr celebration of all things Poodle called Poodstock.
Many of our Flickr friends will be there. Myles is so excited he cannot stand it and is ready to leave NOW on the road trip. It is 18 hours from S.Florida to Poodstock........are we crazy? About Poodles? Yes. Actually we had the vacation time right now so we decided to go.
There will be frolicking of poodle friends, a runway costume contest and more!
Oh, and the bag? It is hard to find a "man bag" in Poodle motif.............and Myles is very confident within himself.............That is why he rocks the Poofy topknot and bracelets on his feet!

Our dogs running on a cold, but sunny winters day. I especially liked the contrast of warm sunlight and cool shadows. Our rottie looks like a great big bear, but she is a gentle giant really - she loves everyone!

Update: In memory of Riley. She passed away of cancer recently, but brought so much joy to everyone. She was a cooperative model and enoyed the outdoors. I took that photo on a First Day hike and it was such a fine day! Bob. 082719

Yes he does. He literally will push me into to the tub because he wants me to turn the shower on. He has figured out how to turn the faucet on and now we have to make sure that the bathroom door is closed when we are not at home..
