Gente quem quiser me adiciona no face , eu tenho esquecido de passar por aqui pra atualizar as coisas .
Not much to show for today I'm afraid. I was in flash mode after watching a chapter of Zack's lighting tutorial and went through to feed the dogs. So I was thinking about lighting and being quick as the dogs were being patient while their dinner was on its way. So the composition isn't great, but I do like how Clover's looking up at Poppy. There's also some inverse square law going on with the light falling off into the background and the highlights on the dog gate being blown out. However, shooting Poppy with off-camera flash is a great way of getting her eyes in the shot; when shooting with available light they're often completely obliterated by the shadows and her dark coat.
Watch out the next time you take the train. You might bump into an over enthusiastic dog (one that wears clothes).

Dogs in the village of Nagina, India.
*finally uploaded something despite very slow internet connection*
This shot is actually from last month, right at the beginning of the great blackout - but the dogs are in the same cuddle position right now!
I've been busy organizing my growing collection of images and came across this one. I liked it but never posted it because I just couldn't seem to get the tones I wanted. Well, I gave it another try with Lightroom 2.0 and had a bit better luck. I took this with my Canon XTi last year after a snowstorm brought 10 inches of snow and a cancellation of school and work which in turn made for a great day for the dogs. A group shot is here.
