After raining cats and dogs for a day and night I had to sneak back to Marsden Clough to see the difference.No quiet autumn wander this time.In pouring rain I scrambled along the cloughs steep edge on sodden grass banks.Thinking of a slip and the drop !Below peaty foaming water thundered over the falls and boulders.A narrow ledge just above the beck led me to this precarious perch for a picture.

It came to say hello as we were eating our lunch. We climbed up about 600 ft. to eat lunch.

Here's a serious Skye for this week! Not something you see very often :)
I'm trying to get over the fact that the focus is off, because other than that, I do like the picture.
Well, I finally finished my tests yesterday, and I enjoyed sleeping in this morning. I'm finally going to get the chance to spend more time with the dogs now, and I get to give them both a much needed bath! :)
Skye (and my other dog, Cassie) actually live out in the yard... not my choice obviously. Well, we're home alone for a bit so I snuck her in for some quick shots in the piano room. She was freakishly excited running around barking in circles. I still can't believe she laid down when I told her to and actually rested her head down without a command. What a lovely little model I have.
