This is the beach gang that play with Chelsea on a regular basis... Max the Kelpie, Lucy the Fox Terrier, Jess the Border Collie, Albie the white terrier, Jerico the poodle, Tessa the Australian Terrier and Rosie the cattle dog mix.
All different in looks and personality but all good natured pooches
These dogs live in a pack of seven in the Luangwa National Park, one of the few strongholds of this highly threatened species. There are thought to be more than 200 in the park.
The one on the right is wearing a collar to track their movements and try to keep the animals safe. Apparently the leader until recently was taken by a crocodile. It's a tough life.

Sun dogs are the reflections sometimes seen around the sun. Usually means there's a lot of high level moisture in the air and bad weather's on the way. Took this yesterday evening and.... yep more snow and sleet today.

Our family dog Sammy aka “Sambo”. Beautiful and friendly dog who has been with my dad since pup. I photographed Sambo as the subject for my “Animals” competition entry of the Work photo comp. Sambo was intently looking at a ball I was holding, anticipating that it would be thrown. The gaze was so intent that I was able to capture his regal stance and poignant look ignoring all around him including my camera as I busily snapped away.
Taken with my old camers on 7/31/2004. She the one in the center. an Australian terrier 30 days old. I first held my dog durring the first 2 weeks of her life.
these past two weeks have been tough for Cisco and for me. he didn't feel well at all and had have problems breathing so I took him to the vet who diagnosed fluid in his lung. since this is a usual symptom for heart problems I made an appointment with a cardiologist who has checked Cisco last week.
well, his heart is still beating pretty well, it's a little worn because of the age but it should not cause any issues like fluid in the lungs. But because Cisco is also hoarse they think he might have a laryngeal paralysis. this will need surgery but the prognosis is way better than severe heart issues. for now Cisco is getting medicine to make him feel better and breathe easier.
