These cool Ram 5500's belong to United Towing of Livermore. I photographed these recovery trucks and dozens more in October at the California Tow Truck Association's annual parade to raise awareness of the state Move Over Law. Be sure to slow down and move over for tow trucks & other emergency vehicles providing assistance alongside our busy roads or highways. 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Heavy Duty
The 2006 Ram 2500 Mega Cab 4X4 is a 4-door, up to 6-passenger full size pickup.
A standard 5.7-liter, V8, 345-horsepower engine. A 5-speed automatic transmission.
The Power Wagon has a "Smart Bar," an electronically disconnecting front anti-sway bar. Disconnected, it allows 32 inches of front axle articulation.
This is one of my favorite rock ramps. It is along the Genoa Peak trail, above Lake Tahoe.
Some of the smaller removed parts from my mid 1990's Road Champs diecast truck to go back on when it's done being repainted.
This is a 2.5-pound HalGuard fire extinguisher mounted under the driver's seat on my 2007 Dodge Power Wagon. That's a Quickfist clamp holding it securely. This is what I see with the driver's door open and the seat skirt lifted up.
