Homestead Air Force Base, Florida, August 25-26-1992. During the early morning hours of August 24, 1992, Hurricane Andrew came ashore in southern Florida, landing a direct hit on Homestead Air Force Base and its surrounding community. Auburn Hills – Dec. 14, 2009 – Chrysler officials celebrate Dodge Ram awarded the Motor Trend Truck of the Year award at the Chrysler Technical Center.
The truck rests beneath Texas skies painted in fire and gold, the sunset etching its story across polished steel. It bears the weight of miles already traveled, yet waits with quiet resolve for the roads still unseen. This is a portrait of reflection—where endings dissolve into beginnings, and stillness becomes the compass pointing toward what’s next.
Life on the road is more than distance; it is sacrifice. Each mile carries a piece of time traded, moments given so that my family may hold a brighter tomorrow. The journey is heavy, but in its weight lies purpose. Under these endless Texas skies, I am reminded that every sacrifice fuels hope, and every road leads closer to the future I fight to build.

A deer leapt in front of my truck this morning on my way to work. Yay. She kept running, I couldn't find her anywhere near the road, but she couldn't have been in good shape, I was going 65MPH and she jumped straight in front of my truck. My bumper was pushed up and back, plus cracked in 2 places. Damnit.
