This is my Road Champs base after I modified it into a 4x4 with new axles glued under it I also changed out the plain bench seat for some nice buckets and a console the steering wheel and column are also new and so are the front wheel wells all from my extra parts box and soon this will be cleaned primed and painted..
It's a diecast truck made by Road Champs in the mid 1990's and around the time that I bought it new for about $5 and soon after I disassembled it and removed the paint because I didn't like the paint quality or how the doors looked when open they had no window frames but I never did get around to painting it then.
Recently after over 20 years in pieces I brought it back out to work on again like changing the base to 4x4 by gluing extra axles and bigger wheels under it I also made the interior better by changing the seats and steering wheel.I also glued the doors shut after cutting off the hinges and mounting points.
Because of rain I had AF problems with my camera.
This is something that I have never seen before and to me it looks unattractive but no doubt it is practical.
