Notice that all four tires are on the ground for maximum traction. The Power Wagon has a "Smart Bar," an electronically disconnecting front anti-sway bar. Disconnected, it allows 32 inches of front axle articulation.
This is one of my favorite rock ramps. It is along the Genoa Peak trail, above Lake Tahoe.

This was made by Road Champs in the mid 1990's in 2 wheel drive form and that's about the time I bought it..But after I bought it I found the quality of the paint to be poor with some small casting defects under it the doors didn't look right when they were open either because they left the door frames off so I disassembled it and removed the paint and fixed the casting defects and then I left the parts in a box for over 20 years.
But recently I brought it back out to work on it again and as you can see I made it into a 4x4 I also redid the interior by changing the seats and steering wheel the doors are glued shut now also and soon I will look for a good paint color.
Federal forest management dates back to 1876 when Congress created the office of Special Agent in the U.S. Department of Agriculture to assess the quality and conditions of forests in the United States. In 1881 the Department expanded the office into the Division of Forestry. A decade later Congress passed the Forest Reserve Act of 1891 authorizing the President to designate public lands in the West into what were then called “forest reserves.” Responsibility for these reserves fell under the Department of the Interior until 1905 when President Theodore Roosevelt transferred their care to the Department of Agriculture’s new U.S. Forest Service. Gifford Pinchot led this new agency as its first Chief, charged with caring for the newly renamed national forests.
On June 1st, 2014 at 4:16pm, the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department (LPFD) responded to multiple reports of a vegetation fire at 400 Wall St. near Granada High School in Livermore. Arriving units found a good-sized working vegetation fire in the grass behind the school and immediately went into offensive mode. Upon arrival, LPFD Battalion 9 assumed Wall IC and requested a second alarm, summoning several Type 1 engines to assist the Type 3 engines and Patrols with fire attack as well as to provide access to a water supply. Alameda County Fire responded two battalion chiefs (Battalion 2 and Battalion 3) and a Type 3 engine (Engine 308) to assist as well. Because the fire was also threatening a couple structures nearby, LPFD Truck 96 responded to the call also for structure protection, but cleared by the time I arrived on scene.
Besides Truck 96, the total balance of apparatus on scene included Alameda County Battalions 2 and 3, LPFD Battalion 9, Alameda County Type 3 Engine 308, LPFD Type 3 Engines 394 and 399, LPFD Chief 90, LPFD Patrol Engines 491, 495, 497, and LPFD Type 1 Engines 90, 95, 97, and 98, making for a total of 15 pieces of apparatus on scene!
LPFD Engine 399 (E399) is a Westmark Type 3 pumper built on an International 7400 chassis.

Because of rain I had AF problems with my camera.
This is something that I have never seen before and to me it looks unattractive but no doubt it is practical.
Dodge Ram, now simply referred to as the Ram, is a collective nameplate for light trucks made by Dodge, which now Ram Trucks is its own separate make spun off from Dodge.
Previously, Ram was part of the Dodge line of light trucks. The name Ram was first used in 1981 on the redesigned Ram and Power Ram following the retiring and rebadging of the Dodge D Series pickup trucks as well as B-series vans.
Ram trucks have been named Motor Trend magazine's Truck of the Year five times; the second-generation Ram won the award in 1994, the third-generation Ram Heavy Duty won the award in 2003, the fourth-generation Ram Heavy Duty won in 2010 and the current Ram 1500 won in 2013 and 2014. The Ram is manufactured at Saltillo Truck Assembly Plant in Saltillo , Coahuila , Mexico and Warren Truck Assembly in Warren, Michigan, United States.
