Mexico has a strange mix of vehicles on its roads. Many European manufacturers have imported vehicles that they would never consider importing to the USA.
This can lead to some interesting side-by-side scenes!
Here my rental FIAT 500 (built in Mexico) is parked next to a Dodge Ram (possibly built at their Mexican plant). It has a 5.7 litre Hemi V8 petrol engine... the FIAT has a somewhat smaller everything!
As FIAT bought Chrylser (including brand names Jeep and Dodge) in October 2014, these are technically products from the same company which seems a bit odd!
My barnet (what remains of it) needed a trim, and this Dodge Ram van parked in the Tyrone Gardens Mall (corner of 9th Avenue N and Tyrone Blvd) was sufficient to persuade me. Good value at $12 plus tip.

On June 1st, 2014 at 4:16pm, the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department (LPFD) responded to multiple reports of a vegetation fire at 400 Wall St. near Granada High School in Livermore. Arriving units found a good-sized working vegetation fire in the grass behind the school and immediately went into offensive mode. Upon arrival, LPFD Battalion 9 assumed Wall IC and requested a second alarm, summoning several Type 1 engines to assist the Type 3 engines and Patrols with fire attack as well as to provide access to a water supply. Alameda County Fire responded two battalion chiefs (Battalion 2 and Battalion 3) and a Type 3 engine (Engine 308) to assist as well. Because the fire was also threatening a couple structures nearby, LPFD Truck 96 responded to the call also for structure protection, but cleared by the time I arrived on scene.
Besides Truck 96, the total balance of apparatus on scene included Alameda County Battalions 2 and 3, LPFD Battalion 9, Alameda County Type 3 Engine 308, LPFD Type 3 Engines 394 and 399, LPFD Chief 90, LPFD Patrol Engines 491, 495, 497, and LPFD Type 1 Engines 90, 95, 97, and 98, making for a total of 15 pieces of apparatus on scene!
Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Engine 498 (E498) is one of the Patrol units. It a 2012 Burton's rig built on a Dodge Ram 5500 chassis.
Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Engine 490 (E490) in the background is one of the Patrol units. It is a 2004 Ferrara built on a Ford F450 chassis.

One brand of American relaxation: Weekend outlet mall shopping in an egg yolk yellow Ram truck. It in all its glory was parked - just so - in a Gilroy, California mall lot.
You don't have to have a 2nd Generation Ram restoration truck to get in, but that will get you a prime parking spot at the Herps & Hemis meet-up.

This is a photograph that I took in 1987 with my old Nikon FM. The truck in the photo was the first new vehicle I had ever owned. It was a 1983 Dodge D-50 Turbo Diesel built by Mitsubishi Motors of Japan. I photographed this somewhere in Northern Ontario during my drive back to the Yukon from Art School in London Ontario.
I think I stopped at this place because the C&H Hamburger Stand had been started by the parents of a good friend of mine at Art School many years before. They no longer operated it, but I stopped just to see what I could see. I'd studied at Art School from 1984 to 1987, doing the very long drive back and forth during my first and last years there, and taking the Greyhound Bus Twice. In those days, you could travel anywhere in Canada on a Greyhound for $99.00. The cost for diesel to power my drive one way was probably about $150.00. That was one of the advantages of running a four cylinder Japanese diesel. That truck was very frugal on fuel while the four wheel drive system meant that I could traverse the worst roads without too much concern.
In this photo, the truck was loaded up with all my worldly possessions for the last trip home to Whitehorse. Those were wonderful and exciting days.
Just a few Revell diecast models on the country road layout. What are the chances that they're all here at the same time?

Since Ferrari S.p.A. doesn't make anything but high performance sports cars, ever wonder which make of trucks Ferrari dealerships use as service vehicles?
In the case of Ferrari Québec, located on Rue de Sorel on the fringes of the inner Montreal suburb of the Town of Mount Royal, they use the Dodge Ram. It's painted with a white stripe with the green, white, and red colours of the Italian flag down the middle,. very similar to the stripe used on some of the Challenge Stradale 360 Modenas and F430's in the Ferrari Challenge racing series.
Perth County EMS utilizes this 2007 Dodge Ram as both an Emergency Response Vehicle and Supervisor.

Action Towing 2011-2018 Ram 4500/5500 flatbed tow truck. This parade takes place each October in San Leandro, CA. Be sure to Slow Down & Move Over for all tow trucks or other emergency vehicles parked alongside the road assisting motorists.
Originally built in the 1800's as the Elgin Wind Mill Co. Windmills were originally manufactured here. At one time it was Heider Electric Supply Co. Its is currently a 5 story Antique Shop called Elgin Windmill Factory Antiques.

That top light was almost too bright to look at! Are these things actually legal? I mean, you'd think it could be a distraction to drivers of approaching vehicles. On the other hand, if it was necessary to take this truck out in a blizzard, visibility probably wouldn't be an issue . . .
"This 1927 "T" Hot Rod was the Grand Prize winner at the National Roadster Show. The engine is a Dodge Ram 440 cubic inch with multi-carbs. This prize vehicle is still owned by world famous customizer, george Barris."
