Matchbox Series No4 Dodge K Series Stake Bed Truck Restoration. 1966 to 1968 - 1-75 Series. This is the second Stake bed I am restoring. I used my favorite flat toothpicks to fill in the broken pieces. You can see my handy work to fill in and fix the missing pieces. The problem is the bed is warped and brittle. Even thought my repair looks ok the bed is still not that good. I have a green paint that I used on the other but it just can't hide the warped bed.

Off-roading has always been a popular pass-time here in Devon, and there's no better way to conquer the moorlands and dirt roads of the Haldon Hills than by way of a Land Rover.
I learned something at this auto show...this is NOT a "Dodge" pickup! They no longer even make "Dodge" pickups...they're "Ram" pickups, division of Chrysler.
On June 1st, 2014 at 4:16pm, the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department (LPFD) responded to multiple reports of a vegetation fire at 400 Wall St. near Granada High School in Livermore. Arriving units found a good-sized working vegetation fire in the grass behind the school and immediately went into offensive mode. Upon arrival, LPFD Battalion 9 assumed Wall IC and requested a second alarm, summoning several Type 1 engines to assist the Type 3 engines and Patrols with fire attack as well as to provide access to a water supply. Alameda County Fire responded two battalion chiefs (Battalion 2 and Battalion 3) and a Type 3 engine (Engine 308) to assist as well. Because the fire was also threatening a couple structures nearby, LPFD Truck 96 responded to the call also for structure protection, but cleared by the time I arrived on scene.
Besides Truck 96, the total balance of apparatus on scene included Alameda County Battalions 2 and 3, LPFD Battalion 9, Alameda County Type 3 Engine 308, LPFD Type 3 Engines 394 and 399, LPFD Chief 90, LPFD Patrol Engines 491, 495, 497, and LPFD Type 1 Engines 90, 95, 97, and 98, making for a total of 15 pieces of apparatus on scene!
LPFD Type 1 Engine 97 (E97) is a mid 2000s-era Hi-Tech EVS pumper built on a Spartan Gladiator chassis.

2002-2005 Dodge Ram 1500 or 2500 4x4 Quadcab. This pickup can transport prisoners it has a cage inside. You would think to save money the CA State Parks would be buying base model work trucks not SLT's but pickups from this era costed less than they do now and the SLT trim probably didn't add much to the price since they bought a bunch of these trucks at once.
Action Towing 2011-2018 Ram 4500/5500 wrecker tow truck. This parade takes place each October in San Leandro, CA. Be sure to Slow Down & Move Over for all tow trucks or other emergency vehicles parked alongside the road assisting motorists.
