Dixie's doctor told her human parents he had just the answer. He told them to bring her to the office where he had 6 orphaned beagle pups whose mom had crossed the Rainbow Bridge herself earlier leaving the babies on their own with no mama to take care of them. Dixie decided she wanted to be a mama to these sweet little bitties even tho they were different from her. As you can see by this shot, Dixie and all 6 puppies are happy and healthy and thriving. Isn't this story just a blessing?
i've been looking all over trying to find out information on this building. i found one place that said it as an old motor court, but nothing verifiable. it has been photographed a lot!
Among the hundreds of coal hoppers that make up a railroad's fleet, a majority of them will have the timeless chalk markings of mystical carmen from the late Conrail Twitty to Virginia Zeke. Some are small doodles, others are intricate drawings, but all of them are unique to the artist. Taken in Farm, WV, on October 1, 2017.

The abandoned Dixie Inn, a tiny diner wedged between the old and new CA-58 highways northwest of Barstow, California. That's the new divided highway streaming past in the background, with Barstow in the distance.

The Dixie Cup factory in Easton, Pennsylvania is 100 years old this year. Happy birthday! The factory was abandoned decades for a more modern facility (which itself is being shut down later this year). The giant Dixie Cup is, as you might guess, the water tower for the plant. Given the rust stains I assume the tower is not made of coated paper.
