As always, a photo each day for 365 days. All shot and edited using Apps on my iPhone 5.
The photo was taken using the camera App Mattebox for iPhone. The original image can be found below.
First of all I used the app Dynamic Light to edit the image. This was done by applying the Standard preset to help brighten the image a little. I then used Mextures to apply some lighting and textures to the image. The preset that I applied was called Red + Blue by Jord Van Solm. After that I used an app called Photo Copier to apply a reproduction of the tone, texture, grain and detail of the artist Turner's painting called - Rain, Steam and Speed. Next I used ShockMyPic to add a little drama to the picture. I then used Distressed FX to add some extra texture to the image using the Stirred overlay and the Broken Texture. Finally I used PhotoToaster to apply the Canvas texture and add the Shadow II frame.
The original photo was taken near to the village of Stoneleigh in Warwickshire. It is an picture overlooking the River Sowe from the bridge on the edge of the Village. The view is looking at the river as it winds it's way by towards Coventry.

Don’t you realize that your atypical behavior exacerbates an already precarious situation that otherwise, with a certain discretion and minimal courtesy, could have been resolved peacefully, amicably and with dispatch. Your behavior was a best infantile and at worst criminal. Criminal toward nature.

Just playing with some different apps tonight. The Black and White photo of the mountain was taken using Hipstamatic. The rest of the image was put together using Juxtaposer, Tangled FX, Glaze and DistressedFX. Not entirely happy with it as the bodies are not exactly in free fall position but I like the colour on Black and white and I like the painty kind of effect - please excuse the highly technical jargon there.

A fun day out with Diane and Barbara at the annual Woodie Wavecrest meetup in Encinitas, California.
yeah, another smoke stack.... but man am I having fun with my new stuff! If you want some inspiration - gather together $.99 (that's not quite a dollar) and buy distressed FX for your iPhone or iPad. So much fun!

The photo was taken using the camera App PureShot for iPhone. The original image can be found below.
First of all I used the app Snapseed to edit the image. The edits were made by straightening the photo, then applying the Drama filter. I then used an app called Romantic Photo to change the tone and lighting of the image with the Golden Memories Dark Red preset. Next I used ShockMyPic to help give the image a more painted look. Finally I used Distressed FX to add extra texture to the image using the Cole overlay and the Karma Texture.
The original photo was taken early this afternoon in Berkswell village. The image is of the Crypt beneath the parish Church of St John the Baptist. Standing in the newer part of the Crypt (the Octagonal part that is dated to the late 12th century), looking past the Font made from Caen stone towards the earlier Eastern part of the Crypt, that was built in the mid 12th Century. The current Norman Church was rebuilt over an earlier Saxon Wooden Church. The stone foundations are still visible in the crypt. The Saxon Church was probably built around the mid 8th century.
