"That you’re so endowed by your own sense of self only serves to inflate your ego beyond reasonable expectations and into a pernicious subjugation of right and wrong yielding a frustratingly ever present deafness to the wants and the needs of those trapped inside your thoughtless realm of imagined celebrity."

As always, a photo each day for 365 days. All shot and edited using Apps on my iPhone 5.
The photo was taken using the camera App Photogene² for iPhone. The original image can be found below.
First of all I used Camera+ to edit the image. This was done by applying the Clarity preset to help brighten up some of the shadows. Next I used the app Gradgram to apply a blue colour tone to the sky and water using a preset based on Cool Mint Horizon. I then applied a Soft Touch filter using the app Romantic Photo by JixiPix to make the landscape feel a little softer. After that I used an app called Photo Copier to apply a reproduction of the tone, texture, grain and detail of the artist Goya's painting called - The Burial of the Sardine. I also used Distressed FX to add the Birds and some extra texture to the image using the Birds Trio overlay and the Whispers texture. Finally I used PhotoToaster to apply the Canvas texture, the Blue filter FX and add the Shadow II frame.
The original photo was taken this afternoon in Kenilworth. The view is again of the lake in Abbey Fields. This time however from the other side of the lake. This is looking over towards where the Church of St Nicholas is (behind the trees). While behind me is Kenilworth Castle.

Grabbed this shot last time home while out picking berries with Deb. Used topaz impressions and the Georgia O'Keefe II filter for the painterly effect and added some texture with an overlay from distressedfx. Used layers and masks in PS to bring out more detail in the head of the flower.
Dreams go along like your normal world. It's your feelings that tell you something's off. Not the obvious clues or signs pointing but that overlay of intense emotion even though it appears as if nothing is happening.
Ah, poor little Mimas,
What's that on your 'face"

I found this challenge quite difficult! Disaster, for me, wasn't easy to think through although I thought of all those nations that continue to war or face natural disasters and the horrific times that people live through! Me, life seems to just stroll along!
However, I also thought that a "disastrous" situation for me would be to be out and about taking photos and my camera batteries died on me ~ what a disaster. Fortunately, I use a battery pack which means I've always got a spare battery with me. However, even more of a disaster is "showing" this photo!! I took it with my iPhone 5S and flushed it through Distressed FX to give it an even more look of disaster!! Life goes on!!
Our Daily Challenge ~ DISASTER .....
Thanks, in advance, to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... thanks to you all.
