The background of the bird was masked and place on top of one of Jai Johnson's textures. The final edits were done on an iPad, using Stackables and DistressedFX.
April 10, 2016: Floating- image from the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA., taken in #blacknwhite with #hipstamatic app. For this #colorized version used #snapseed #distressedfx and #photocopier . In snapseed used warmth -35, shadows 21 contrast 50 and vintage 1 strength 40 with 0 vignette. In DistressedFX used ere 75% and bliss 50%. In PhotoCopier used greco 0 color and 50 texture.
The original photo was taken early this Afternoon in the Parish of Haseley, near to the town of Warwick. The view is of the Church of St Mary the Virgin. This Grade I listed building originally dates back to the 12th Century. There were additions during the 13th Century with the Tower being added in the 15th Century.
The photo was taken using the app Cortex Camera on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Snapseed to edit the picture. I cropped and Straightened the image and applied the Tonal Contrast preset. I then boosted the Contrast, Saturation, Ambiance, Warmth and Shadows. I also decreased the Highlights a little. After this I used the app Mextures to apply the formula called Windansea by Justin Halbert. I then used the app Stackables to apply the formula called Haven. Next I used DistressedFX to add the Stirred overlay and the Lade texture. Finally I used PhotoToaster to add the Recover Highlights preset and a Medium Dark Vignette. I then applied the Old Paper texture and the Leather frame.
