Alright, who would be interested and able to do a small colaborative display in Portland, depicting the '41-'42 Philippines Campaign? Relatively rigid standards would be used, and it would be all-infantry. If you'd like to and can make it, post below. If 2-3 or more say they want to and can go, then I'll make a group to take it from there.

Notice the updated format compared to the display on YJ06YRZ. There is a yellow bar at the top and First has been removed from the list of operators 'working together'.
Much debate over this display plate with earrings. My husband thinks that maybe it may say "un-important" but people stop and walk right to it. I think it says "sale", even from a distance. These are actually marked down on tag and I think customers like to see an "area" with some savings. To show that it is important, I do need to keep arranging them neatly, in need of that in this photo. p.s. many request to buy the plate too, lol. Here are a few displays that I have done over the years. I was lucky enough to display with the San Francisco Bulls for 1.5 years and have displays for the San Jose Barracudas. I have also done many Allstar shows from 1997-2001 with many of the top collectors around the world.

U.S. M40 155MM Gun Motor Carriage
The great success of the M12 155mm Gun Motor Carriage (GMC) in Western Europe in 1944 convinced the Army that a new self-propelled gun was needed as the supply of old 155mm guns used on the M12 had been exhausted. The new vehicle used the M4A3E8 Sherman tank chassis and could mount either the M1 155mm Gun of the M1 8-inch Howitzer. The M40 is the self-propelled version of the legendary 155 mm "Long Tom". The first prototype was produced in July 1944 and tests were very successful with both gun and howitzer mounted. Production began in early 1945 with a total of 418 M40s manufactured by the Pressed Steel Car Company before production ended in late 1945. Two of the prototypes saw service during the attack on Cologne, Germany, but none of the production M40s made it into service during World War II. The M40 did see significant action during the Korean War where it proved to be an effective and powerful weapon.

Statue with antique truck at Hampton, MN, in October 2011 gives the illusion of a giant child playing with a real truck as if it was a toy.

The Harris Hawk is native to the central part of the Americas, southern North America down throughout much of South America. There is some evidence that they are spreading their range further into North America. Like many other raptors, the population of Harris Hawks is currently on the decline. There are two subspecies of Harris Hawk, Parabuteo unicinctus harrisi is found mainly in the North American down through to northern South America & generally referred to as Harris Hawk & Parabuteo unicinctus unicinctus found mainly in South America & is generally referred to as Bay-Winged Hawk.
The Latin name Parabuteo unicinctus means similar to a buzzard (Parabuteo) with single stripe (unicinctus) (referring to tail). The ornithologist, Audobon, gave the bird the name Harris Hawk, after his friend Colonel Harris.
In the wild, Harris Hawks prey on small rodents, such as rats & mice, lizards, small birds (often taken in flight) & small mammals, such as young rabbits. If prey is scarce, they have been known to feed on carrion.
White Orchid display at the famous Royal Hawaiian Hotel that opened in February in 1927 and was one of the first hotels established in Waikiki. Beautiful historic hotel to check out and probably even nicer to stay in if you can afford it. Spent the entire day walking around Waikiki and Honolulu on Saturday looking for random stuff to shoot to test out the 5D MK III. This was one of those random subjects. Honolulu, Hawaii 2012

This is one of the Christmas window displays at Bergdorf Goodman, an upscale department store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Their bizarre and avant-garde displays are as interesting as they are confusing.
I guess I don't really understand fashion, because I really don't see what the connection is between a performing seal and Christmas.
