A yellow-headed blackbird claims his spot in the marsh at Wellington SWA, CO.

This display shows hatchings emerging from golf-ball size, leather-like turtle eggs placed by their mother in a deep hole dug in seashore sand.

My Korean Hornbeam won "Best in Show" at the 2006 MidAtlantic Bonsai Societies exhibition. It was chosen by the International bonsai masters demonstrating at the event. It's quite encouraging for an artist hoping to keep improving to win an award like this.

A display diorama for my World Eaters army. Holds up to 1500pts.

Love this dress so much - it's over at the Tower of Terror. I only saw it cause I waited for my hubby and friends while they rode that ride (I don't do ToT)

I purchased this display with 10 rolls of film. After 4 years I finally have obtained another 38 rolls to complete the 48 roll set.

Sometimes film is harder to find than the cameras they went into!

Nethercutt Museum display floor.

I don't know much about these LED blinds but I do know that Cardiff Bus used them as seen here and they also made displays for the BR Class 158 Express Sprinters.

This is my freshly completed display case for jewelry atelier Love & Luxe in San Francisco. It has been a two month process incorporating new techniques, some exciting problems to solve, and a complete mix of materials including steel, plastics, a variety of hardwoods, and some vintage finds.

It's been a great experience to work with store owner and jeweler Betsy Barron. If you're in San Francisco and would like to check out the shop and some jewelry - including some of my own, the address is:

1169 Valencia Street, San Francisco

I have included some in process shots and a couple of the case finished and installed at the end.

I took a quick picture of my display how it looks now...

On the left side there are Peggy and DeeAnna (the larger dolls) and on the left are my Amber and the Ellowynes; Always playing solitaire, Sushi, Pru Dressed me and Overdressed...

(I really should give them names LOL)

A colorful floating display at Fairmount Park in Riverside! The @riversideartmuseum, the City of Riverside and the Riverside Unified School District have collaborated to create the largest art installation in the city's history. The project is patterned after one previously staged at MacArthur Park in Los Angeles. Over 350 hand-painted spheres will float in Lake Evans for three-weeks. The six-feet-in-diameter spheres were painted by students at 48 RUSD schools.

In July, 1994 a child accident safety prevention unit was set up in the Abbeygate, Arbroath. Offering advice were, from left - PC Kenneth Linton, road safety unit Tayside Police; Station Officer Harry Marr, fire safety officer Tayside Fire Brigade; and Brian Glass and Robert Divine, ambulance paramedics.

This 2013 Gillig Low Floor is seen on the outbound Route 992 to San Diego International Airport (KSAN) via Harbor Dr. This bus has just started it's route and is one block from the Santa Fe Depot where it picked up passengers for the cruise ship terminal and airport.

A display booth showcasing Ryko's equipment and products from many decades ago.

This photograph was allegedly taken in 1985.

My display for my "vintage" earrings. I've used a printers drawer. The metal was painted black (as it was originally orange) and eye hooks were screwed in to hang the earrings from.

I love the look of it!

It is sitting on another tv-tray that was painted with black chalkboard paint. The writing was "smeared" by a cute 4 year old girl admiring my chalk writing. I didn't fix it until after the picture.

Common Loon in breeding plumage displaying for the paparazzi :)

We were out on a boat photographing loons for a couple of days. We followed two couples during their normal routines. One couple were sharing nesting duties. They were so awkward on land and took some time to get to the nest. They seemed to change duties every twelve hours or so. This loon had just come off of the nest in the early morning as the sun was burning off the mist and getting ready to fish, preen and enjoy the day. They were undisturbed, (I think they are used to fishermen and boats) by our presence and went about their day.

Because the display already contained a time-line of aircraft models (including some built by me), I decided that I didn't want to distract people by showing more aircraft on my table, so instead I took a few of my favourite helicopter models.

Window display at Harvey Nichols Edinburgh. Seems to be some kind of 'back to school' theme going on, with giant pencils and notebooks and desks and tiny dolls in uniforms. Presumably this kind of bonkers display appeals to parents who buy their school clothes in high-priced department stores.
