Halloween display in a flower bed outside a real estate office. Also a political election sign, a reminder that elections are near.
Client wanted cute and simple setting so family felt 'at home' to indulge. So sweet! All made fresh from scratch. yum
White Orchid display at the famous Royal Hawaiian Hotel that opened in February in 1927 and was one of the first hotels established in Waikiki. Beautiful historic hotel to check out and probably even nicer to stay in if you can afford it. Spent the entire day walking around Waikiki and Honolulu on Saturday looking for random stuff to shoot to test out the 5D MK III. This was one of those random subjects. Honolulu, Hawaii 2012

This is one of the Christmas window displays at Bergdorf Goodman, an upscale department store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Their bizarre and avant-garde displays are as interesting as they are confusing.
I guess I don't really understand fashion, because I really don't see what the connection is between a performing seal and Christmas.
Stephany Helbig, HSU, student, spent summer cleaning oiled birds. Taken in the Wildlife building, duckbilled bird in plexiglass.
Outside the LEGO Room is a display case full of bricks. The raw material of what lies inside the room.
This is a project I did in cooperation with the LEGO company and Scott Sternberg of the Band of Outsiders clothing label. The room is located in a clothing store in Hollywood called Opening Ceremony. It was made to showcase the new LEGO inspired men's line from Band of Outsiders.

These are photos from the Austin miniMaker Faire. I only had time during the slower periods to take pictures or during set up. It was a fun event and there were a lot of great exhibits there including TBRR.

Christmas may have just recently ended, but since I'm finding myself very much still in the Holiday spirit, I've decided to keep posting my Holiday themed pictures until New Years. That's when the tree comes down, and the Christmas season traditionally comes to a close. So, please bear with me for just a few more days as I slowly wind down from my favorite time of the year.
This is a detail shot from one of the windows at Macy's department store at Herald Square in Manhattan.
