Interesting pairing here. A 1955 Dennis F8 Water Tender, UAF 339. And what was the top of the range Dormobile model, the Debonair, on the Bedford CA base, WWC 661F.
Two very well presented preserved vehicles.
Grackles are beautiful and their faces show such personality. Finding this one displaying was another highlight of the day. (I saw a decent number of common grackles over the course of the afternoon.)
Beautifully designed holiday madness in the display window at Edgewater Antique Mall. Easily the coolest Christmas display window in the 'hood :-)

"A highly unusual mannered building, the Display Block was designed by its owner, Lesley A Vail, who rejected the plans presented to him by the respected architect, Nahum Barnet. It was built in 1912 as an office building and Vail's rejection of contemporary architectural taste resulted in a significant art-nouveau design."

Good thing I carry my camera every where I go, because I spotted this fabulous Halloween display at Home Depot, of all places... so here it is! When someone walked by the skeleton or witch, they would open & close their mouths, they'd ask you if you wanted candy & their eyes would light up off & on!!! Very creative! Wish that desk wasn't in the way though!
Handmade from wood and clay (clay being the decorative moulding)

3 vintage card watch boxes (from Proff Woodruff!)
and 4 sectioins with Lost & Found cardstock accent.
3 layers of paint in cream, grey, blue, sanded to age.

Notes: The 2010 Sydney International Motor Show. The GT-P was the optioned version of the FPV GT and was based upon the Ford FG series Falcon sedan. it was powered by a 5.0 Liter Supercharged "Miami" V8 that produced 335kw (449 hp) and was a variant of the "Coyote" engine and fitted with Australian Superchargers and other specific Australian components.
The vehicle was shown off at the 2010 show with this spectacular display.
The cool thing here is that you can see what it looks like under the vehicle without the insurance loss, and the horrible accident that would otherwise be required!

The end of the Brisbane Festival each year is signified by a massive fireworks display. I haven't been for a few years and never viewed the Story Bridge end, so new stuff to me
When I was a lad these were called Blue Grouse and now the 2 subspecies have separate species status.
Sooty and Dusky.
Sooty have the “Yellow Eggs” for inflation display purposes. Dusky have Red Display Sacs. So the interior Dusky Grouse are Red Necks.;)

This is a close up of my three year old India blue peacock Alto while he was displaying. The feathers on top of his head remind me of little jewels.
