Sunset in Bozeman Montana. I was set up to shoot the moon rising in the opposite direction, but I could not help myself from turning around to shoot the sunset as well

Reaching for the impossible.
The goal no one backs up.
The dream they all tear down.
You'll never make it, they say.
They only want you to decay.
Stretch those arms and kick those legs.
Prove em' all wrong
because you are so Right.

Leica Mini-II
Agfa Vista 200 (aka Fuji 200N)
My friend Stephen found a Leica Mini-II ("badge-engineered" Minolta point-and-shoot 35mm camera from the 1990s) at an estate sale. I traded him a sandwich and a roll of film for it.
I recently became affianced to the woman standing in the circle.
This object, whilst decorative, is almost entirely useless. The hygrometer is vague, the clock’s hour hand broke after 6 weeks so hangs by gravity, and the thermometer is inflated (especially in the sun). But it shows “trends”, ie. Direction of Travel…
Our patio, July 2022.
(Incidentally, at time of shooting it is very hot here in the South Eastern UK, not quite what this is showing but still around 35 celsius and rising. Very uncomfortable).

Situated within the Berchtesgaden Alps in the municipality of Schönau am Königsee, just south of Berchtesgaden and the Austrian city of Salzburg, the Königssee is Germany's third deepest lake. Located at a Jurassic rift, it was formed by glaciers during the last ice age. It stretches about 4.8 miles in a north-south direction and is about 1 mile across at its widest point. Except at its outlet, the Königsseer Ache at the village of Königssee, the lake is similar to a fjord, being surrounded by the steeply-rising flanks of mountains up to 8,900 feet, including the Watzmann massif in the west.
