FEDERAL STUDENT LOANS: Education Could Do More to Help Ensure Borrowers Are Aware of Repayment and Forgiveness Options
Note: To determine participation, we examined data for 11.2 million borrowers with Direct Loans (excluding those with only parent PLUS loans) in active repayment (not in deferment, forbearance, or default) with an outstanding balance as of September 2014. Borrowers participating in Extended repayment with fixed payments are included in Standard, and Extended repayment with graduated payments are included in Graduated. Other includes some borrowers who did not have a repayment plan.
a) Among Income-Based Repayment borrowers, 87 percent had a partial financial hardship and were paying less than they would on the 10-year Standard plan, and 13 percent had payments equal to the 10-year Standard plan.
b) Among Pay As You Earn borrowers, 95 percent had a partial financial hardship and were paying less than they would on the 10-year Standard plan, and 5 percent had payments equal to the 10-year Standard plan.

Direct Rail Services (DRS) 66303 drifts through Peterborough working the 0Z03 1200 Doncaster Robert Rds Shed to Stowmarket D.G.L.
With engineering underway along the Cumbrian Coast Line, the Nuclear Flasks bound for Crewe had to go the long way round via Penrith and Shap Summit. Direct Rail Services locos 68017 'Hornet' and 88006 'Juno' double head two flasks at Oxenholme, working the 6K74 from Sellafield to Crewe Coal Sidings.
The bodyside of 20305 looks a bit worse for wear whilst at Sheffield Midland partnering 20303 on the 3S12 0726 Sheffield - Wrenthorpe Sidings.
Rostered to be the final day of RHTT working in the South Yorkshire area tomorrow , 20302/303/305 have stumbled there way through the 2018 season , remains to be seen whether DRS will give the old girls a clean before parking them up to await there fate.

The Horde is one of two opposing factions featured in Warcraft, it's counterpart being the Alliance. The Horde is made up of several races, including Orcs, Undead, Taurens, Trolls, Blood Elves and Goblins.
I used the DC Direct World of Warcraft figures for this collage. Top left is an Orc Shaman, top right is a Blood Elf Rogue, bottom left is an Undead Warlock and bottom right is a Goblin Tinker.

De tentoonstelling Otto B. de Kat en tijdgenoten - Jeanne Bieruma Oosting, Wim Oepts, Kees Verwey e .a. geeft een overzicht in hoogtepunten van de schilderkunst van Otto B. de Kat.
Met een selectie werken van tijdgenoten die eveneens 'de ziel der dingen' probeerden vast te leggen, wordt zijn oeuvre in breder perspectief geplaatst. Schilderijen van onder anderen Jeanne Bieruma Oosting, Johan Buning en Kees Verwey laten zien dat De Kat weliswaar een eigen gezicht had, maar tegelijkertijd deel uitmaakte van een grotere beweging.
Terwijl de Nederlandse avant-gardisten in een permanente staat van revolutie verkeerden, vormde het werk van De Kat en de zijnen een even sterke als constante onderstroom. Losgezongen van tijd en plaats bezit deze kunst een universele zeggingskracht, die de hedendaagse kijker onverminderd inspireert en ontroert.
Bezonken bezieling
"Hij kan wachten", zo karakteriseerde kunsthistoricus Hans Jaffé in 1972 de Haarlemse schilder Otto B. de Kat (1907-1995). In tegenstelling tot zowel de impressionisten als de expressionisten, die snel en spontaan werkten, bleef De Kat net zo lang wikken en wegen tot hij het wezenlijke van wat hij om zich heen zag op zijn doek terugvond.
Daarbij was het hem niet te doen om ongewone of spectaculaire zaken. Hij schilderde juist die onderwerpen waarmee hij zich door de dagelijkse omgang ten diepste verbonden voelde: een gedekte tafel, een interieur met fauteuil, het uitzicht op een polder in Noord-Holland of een heuvellandschap in de Auvergne.
In plaats van een vluchtige indruk of emotionele weerslag tonen De Kats schilderijen een wereld van bezonken bezieling, waarin geen tijd lijkt te bestaan. Precies die sfeer van tijdloosheid zorgt ervoor dat zijn werk ook tegenwoordig nog een grote en zelfs weer groeiende groep liefhebbers aan zich weet te binden. In een samenleving die steeds hectischer en onzekerder wordt, is de schilderkunst van De Kat een welkom baken van onverstoorbaarheid.
Otto B. de Kat
Otto B. de Kat werd opgeleid aan de kunstnijverheidsschool in Haarlem en de Rijksacademie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. Eind jaren twintig ging hij naar Parijs om kennis te nemen van het modernisme, zonder zich er volledig aan over te geven. Van begin af aan toonde De Kat zich bedachtzaam en liet hij zich alleen beïnvloeden door ontwikkelingen die bij hem pasten.
Zijn verblijf in het Belgische Ukkel bij Brussel, van 1937 tot 1940, kenmerkt zijn behoefte om in de luwte zijn eigen weg te zoeken. Indrukken die hij opdeed in zijn directe omgeving of tijdens reizen werden in de beslotenheid van het atelier verwerkt tot gelaagde schilderijen in gedempte, vaak familiare kleuren.
Het naoorlogse 'wilde schilderen' van Cobra liet hij links liggen, net als de informele en conceptuele kunst van daarna. Zijn voorbeelden waren Franse meesters als Pierre Bonnard, Édouard Vuillard, Albert Marquet en later ook Nicolas de Staël. Pendelend tussen Amsterdam en zijn tweede huis in Frankrijk bouwde De Kat aan een oeuvre dat gestaag uitgroeide tot een hechte synthese van de Franse en Hollandse school. De stemmige polders die hij aan het eind van zijn leven in Noord-Holland schilderde, behoren tot zijn beste werk.

It's been a while since I've uploaded and a while since a bed jump.

I've been busy with work and have taken some photos I would love to share but I am not allowed to do so at the moment, radiohead in particular but at this moment I'm off to Boulder Colorado to meet my girl's mother and hang out with her family. It wIll be a great trip. I'm not sure if I'm more excited about getting away from Toronto or about experiencing the rockies.
