A brand new, never-seen-before play, written in 2015 by Philip Ayckbourn that explores the ‘what if’ scenario of a couple who, meeting with their younger selves, attempt to re design their lives by convincing their younger selves to make different choices. Will they be able to alter things for the better or will they just repeat the same mistakes they made the first time round? The scenario raises some interesting philosophical musings about time, relationships and the road not taken as well as providing fertile territory for plenty of comedy/farce.

Stuffed toys being so much more patient than live animals, my daughter's well-worn favorite, Bowa, agreed to a photo shoot on a black sheet of construction paper. In this sequence I'm playing with diffusing or bouncing the flash of my Sony P100.

Daudet's windmill (Le moulin de Daudet), in Fontvieille - Bouches-du-Rhône - France.
In 1866, Daudet's "Lettres de mon moulin", written in Clamart, near Paris, and alluding to a windmill in Fontvieille, Provence, won the attention of many readers...
Alphonse Daudet, 1840-1897.
Daudet is the author of one of my favourite books: "Tartarin de Tarascon". :)
Thank you Jean Michel!

Everything Is Wondrous is the story of two friends and a mix tape. It’s a true story, told in the words of the two people involved.
Jo Milne, from Gateshead, has Usher syndrome, a condition that affects both hearing and vision: she was born profoundly deaf and her sight is progressively getting worse. However, in 2014 cochlear implant surgery gave her the chance of hearing for the first time. In anticipation of a successful operation, she asked her friend Tremayne Crossley to make her a mix tape featuring a song from every year of her life, which would be the first music that she would ever hear.
The play reminds us how important and immediate music can be in our lives, though we often take it for granted. It tells of their friendship, how Tremayne made his choices and how Jo is catching up with forty years of musical sounds. Inspired by Julia's blog.
