Direct flash gives harsh shadows.
Stuffed toys being so much more patient than live animals, my daughter's well-worn favorite, Bowa, agreed to a photo shoot on a black sheet of construction paper. In this sequence I'm playing with diffusing or bouncing the flash of my Sony P100.

Footage of Agosto Cuellar, Mari Salinas and Marisela Barrerra who plays the "mysterious drunkard princess" is taken from rags-into-fashion. This is part of presentation is designed to encourage the Alamo City's community to attend the "Una Noche de La Gloria" fashion show on Saturday, October 9th, 2010. Models will start strut down a 100 foot runway located in the middle of the street, directly in front of the Guadalupe Arts Center at 10pm. This clip was shot with HD-720p flip-cam and then the footage was edited with Adobe CS5 Premier Pro Wednesday night, October 6th 2010.

every year my neighbors rebuild this planter. Rather than use materials that will stand up to the elements, and rather than plant something that will grow in perpetual shade, she builds some version of a flimsy, easily broken, POS that barely protect a few bulbs that will never grow without direct sunlight. I will enjoy it while it lasts!
