This will be headed to the esty shop or ebay soon, but wanted to share since there are not many images of this line available. Especially hard to find are the covered serving pieces and large platters.
This line was not as successful as Wright's other tableware, and was only produced for a few years in the early 50's. This color is Golden Spice.

A great way to find some real French household items is to visit thrift-shop Emmaüs in France. It's a chain of stores and locations all over France where people bring whatever is being made redundant in their household.
Different Emmaüs stores work slightly different and one is more/better organized than the other. I went to three this summer holiday. The first one, in Le Blanc, was on a terrain with different buildings, almost like a collection of little shops. The one in Angoulême (La Couronne) was on a larger terrain and was also nice. The one in Cognac I found to be the least interesting and was also the most disorganised and a bit 'stale' (for lack of a better word).
In all Emmaüs shops I have ever been there is one central "caisse" where you pay for your items of choice. You get a ticket from whoever is the seller in that section; you find the caisse and pay and then return to pick up your item(s).
In Angoulême it's slightly different as you pick up your goods (from all the sections you visited) at one central location.
You have to have an eye for the nice stuff and sometimes go through some rubble and piles but if you want to go home with some great authentic French items it's certainly worth the effort!
Also, prices are 'ridiculous' (as in cheap) most of the time. First Champagne Cooler I found in Le Blanc was 12 euros and I found that to be cheap already. Then I found the Venoges one in Angoulême for only 2 euros! I paid 7 euros for the dinnerware (one large serving plate with six matching plates) and 3 euros for 11 small decorated plates in Cognac. The Champagne \ Ice Coupes were a few euros also (would have to look up what I paid).
I have used the items on holiday already and will continue to use them at home for sure!

Finally bit the bullet and put these plates on the wall. I was intimidated by finding the right arrangement, but figured they'll look better somewhat awkardly arranged than sitting in a pile on my dresser.
