Cost Plus World Market was having a 20% off sale, so I thought it would be a good way to spend my bonus money. ^_^

Jordan is currently obsessed with white dinnerware, because food looks best on white. I definitely agree. However if I'm eating cereal -- a distinctly unattractive & boring food (also eaten around the clock in our household lol), I would rather eat out of something cheerful like a cherry red bowl instead of white which would most likely make it look even more boring & bland.

But we already have bright dinnerware and have been seriously lacking white. Not to mention I've broken a few of our plates (U_U) so now we're woefully lacking in plates in general.

Scottie dog leash holder started out as a discarded cutting board found at thrift. Added were broken china, glass gems, a focal cut from dinnerware using a ring saw, part of a real dog collar, and finally, he was edged with Van Gogh glass tiles. Grouted in Navaho Brown from Lowe's. ...He is going to need a good loving home where he can faithfully hold your dog leashes and accessories and will be available for purchase in my etsy store sometime soon.

The maker's or decorator's mark on the bottom says "© Marbit."

They measure 3 3/8" in diameter, so they are within the range of the sizes used for butter pats.
