Melbourne is the coastal capital of the southeastern Australian state of Victoria. At the city's centre is the modern Federation Square development, with plazas, bars, and restaurants by the Yarra River. In the Southbank area, the Melbourne Arts Precinct is the site of Arts Centre Melbourne – a performing arts complex – and the National Gallery of Victoria, with Australian and indigenous art.

August 11, 2015- Buffalo- Governor Cuomo highlighted a conference via video message for the Upstate revitalization Initiative. The 1. 5 Billion economic development competition is designed to invest in local-identified regional economies in Upstate New York. Local officials from around the state presented their economic revitalization plans. The conference also gave officials the opportunity to gain a more detailed understanding of the economic resurgence currently being seen in Upstate New York.

The initial phase of development at Wildwood Park is well underway as sidewalks are poured in preparation for parking lot surfacing and boat pier installation (July 6, 2021).
The Sabarmati Riverfront project envisages comprehensive development of both the banks of the historical river which passes through the centre of the walled city. It involves river dredging, constructing retaining walls, providing storm water outfalls, ghats and jetties, reclaiming 162 hectares, providing interceptor sewers, creating parks gardens, designing new streets and promenades with better street lighting, and housing for economically weaker sections.
