Bonita Springs Builders have to prepare yourself to meet their audience within the moment - web developer have to adapt to the brand new phrase “Mobile First”. Every consumer has become mobile and connected, and therefore your construction firm needs so that you can go where your users go. Wendy Clark, President, Sparkling Brands & Proper Marketing for Coca-Cola The United States couldn’t have stated it better - “Mobile is fundamentally of all things we’re doing. When we can’t create a story focus on a 4-inch-by-2-inch screen, it doesn’t work, also it doesn’t go further.”

Based on Google, your construction firm must adopt three fundamental principals with regards to mobile:

Portable: Your idea must have the ability to go in which the user goes. In case your business can’t, you aren't mobile.

Personal: Does your company focus on the person desires and needs of each and every user? May be the experience unique towards the user?

Perpetual: Endless rather than altering. Mobile is definitely on.

Exactly what does all of this mean for Bonita Springs builders? Mobile has altered the way in which consumers behave - individuals are connected on the internet and are positively utilizing web developer devices to locate, evaluate, making a decision in line with the information that's given to them. So how exactly does your construction firm stand before individuals searches and how can you supply the information they're seeking?

How connected are consumers? There isn’t any denying that smartphones are part of everyday existence. Because of Google for supplying these statistics: “Over two-thirds of smartphone users (68%) say they check their phone within fifteen minutes of getting out of bed each morning. 87% also have their smartphones in their web developer, night and day. And, in lots of countries, more searches occur on cellular devices than you are on computers.” The ability has become at the disposal of the connected consumer. The connected consumer now is able to travel through information, advertisements, content, products, and services by themselves terms.

Add a new shortcut for "Quit iOS Simulator", and you're done. I use cmd-opt-Q.

I also mapped the "Home" command/button to cmd-Q, because I still press it instinctively after a test run, and this makes it behave reasonably sensibly.

A while back, as we were just starting to make beta builds of Adobe AIR (then Apollo) available, I was responsible for the HTML side of the runtime from an evangelist perspective. Coming from Adobe Flex, I set out to find a comparable UI framework for JavaScript and quickly landed upon ExtJS. After some planning, we got a few of the evangelists, Jack Slocum and Brian Moeskau together in Las Vegas, NV for some training.

Flash forward two years, and I had the opportunity to sit on an expert panel at the very first Ext Developer Conference in Orlando, FL. The framework has grown by leaps and bounds since first being rolled off from the Yahoo UI library. It's very comparable with Flex from an functionality perspective. There were about 200 developers present. I also sat in on a number of sessions, generally around theming and customization of the look and feel of Ext applications.

To be clear, the above picture is of the Orlando Convention Center. The Ext conference was held at the Ritz Carlton (which had a small, but very well stocked humidor I might add). As a Starwood Preferred Guest, I opted to stay at the Westin, which was by the convention center. I got an amazing room for a great deal, and highly recommend the location if you're ever in Orlando. The hotel didn't exist the last time I was there.

While in Orlando I also got together with my sister, Christy, and her boyfriend Jason for dinner at Maggiano's. I hadn't seen Christy since she lived in Baton Rouge, and we visited for her college graduation. Shortly after they moved to Orlando where Jason is working on his degree. We had a really nice meal with a bottle of wine and friendly conversation over everything from the Large Hadron Collider to Mayan civilization.

I did a test on Adox CMS 20, developed with a new italian/swiss developer: Ars-Imago Fd

Some people complaints about the use of dedicated Adox Adotech and tests other commercial developers. I tried to give my contribute, given the disponibility of this new developer.

I got interesting results @ Box Speed and not so good results @ 6 Iso (This photo - Part two)

Kirk McMurray and Dominiek ter Heide at the first iKnow! Developer meetup in Shibuya, Tokyo.

Russell "Rusty" Lyon Jr., Chairman of Westcor Inc. was a principal developer of the Boulders Resort which was valued at $200 million when it opened in 1984. Boulders gets its name, logo and theme from the gigantic granite rocks deposited on this desert land millions of years ago. Westcor also operated the Hotel Westcourt at Metrocenter and Westcourt in the Buttes resort in Tempe. Westcor also developed the Arrowhead Towne Center at Bell and 83rd. Rusty Lyon was the visionary for Scottsdale Fashion Square, Chandler Fashion Square, Biltmore Fashion Park. Rusty Lyon, passed away in 2016.

Bennie Gonzales was the original architect of the Boulders. Gonzales was known for his adobe-style architecture. He also designed the Scottsdale Civic Plaza and the Scottsdale Conference Center. Scottsdale based Allen + Philip Architects completed the design work. The adobe look was achieved with synthetic stucco over masonry and viga and latilla framing. Guy Bussell was the project manager.

Laurence Rockefeller's Rockresorts was the management company chosen to operate the Boulders. A Rockresort company goal is to go to the frontiers of natural beauty and create resorts that lend themselves to the environment. Laurence Rockefeller wanted nature be the star. Rockresorts managed the Boulders from 1984 to 1988. In 1988 Westcor actually placed an unsuccessful bid to buy all of Rockresorts properties.

Walter Blum, who was chef for many years at the Arizona Biltmore, Grand Teton Lodge Company and the Muana Kea Beach Hotel, was the Rockresort's Executive Director of Food at the opening of the Boulders. He designed the menus and hired the opening chefs, who were Duncan Slater and Robert Walton. A Blum quote "It takes longer to become an executive chef than a physician." Some entre's from 1984 included pheasant with plum sauce, chateaubriand, snails with chopped mushrooms and duck breast with papaya sauce. The Boulder's restaurants were The Latilla, The Palo Verde and The Club. The Latilla was permanently shuttered in 2015 and its space converted to a meeting room.

Richard E. Holtzman, president of Rockresorts, appointed his son Richard A. Holtzman Jr. to the General Manager position.

In 1988 The Boulders had a 78% occupancy rate at its 120 casitas during the 9 1/2 months it is open each year.

A Boulders Resort advertisement stated "and on the seventh day, God built a golf course." There are two 18-hole golf courses designed by Jay Morrish built in to the natural rock outcroppings. In 1983 Morrish began putting the North and South Courses together - nine holes at a time. First came the Boulders Nine, followed by the Saguaro Nine. Eventually the Lake Nine was added, and that’s the way things were - 27 holes - until Morrish came back in 1992 to add nine more holes.

By 1994 Rusty Lyon and his partners had formed Carefree Resorts. Partners in Carefree Resorts were Richard Holtzman Jr., William Nassikas, Michael Surguine, David Beckham, Scott Lyon and Del Goehring. Resorts acquired were The Peaks at Telluride in Colorado; Carmel Valley Ranch Resort in California; and The Lodge at Ventana Canyon in Tucson, Arizona.

In 1996 Patriot American Hospitality Inc. bought Carefree Resorts for $210 million. Included in the sale were The Boulders, The Peaks at Telluride in Colorado; Carmel Valley Ranch Resort in California; and The Lodge at Ventana Canyon in Tucson, Arizona.

In January 1998 The Boulders was established as the flagship of the Wyndham International - luxury properties.

Blackstone Real estate Advisors bought the Boulders in 2005 and became a member of the LXR Luxury Resorts Collection. Michael Hoffmann was appointed Managing Director. He served from 2005 to 2013. A graduate of Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne and native of Switzerland, Hoffmann came from Claridge's in London. In 2006 Blackstone gutted and redesigned the interiors of all the guest rooms.

On April 23, 2015 Columbia Sussex acquired The Boulders for a reported $83.3 million and switched the resort's Hilton brand from the Waldorf Astoria to the Curio Collection. General Manager is Howard Harris (former gm at Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa). The resort renovated all 160 of its Casitas by the end of 2015. The bedrooms’ wood-burning fireplaces received an adobe update and each room included a wood-inlay headboard in a traditional Hohokam design. The majority owner of Columbia-Sussex, Bill Yung, is well known in the hotel industry for his scorched-earth tactics.

Mobile deep linking (also known as ios developer application deep linking), is the procedure of utilizing a URI to connect to specific pages or locations inside a mobile application. You can use it in a number of ways - via notifications, email, SMS, social networking, etc. - and directs users to relevant content, instead of your app’s desltop.

There's a couple of kinds of mobile deep linking:

Standard deep linking - Directs users to some specific a part of your application making use of your application URI. The disadvantage using these is they is only going to work when the user has got the application placed on their device. Otherwise, they'll show the consumer a mistake page.

Deferred deep linking - Deferred deep links will direct users towards the specific content when the application is installed, and direct users towards the ios developer store listing when the application isn't installed.

Contextual deep linking - These may serve the functions of the aforementioned two kinds of deep linking, but additionally permit more precise tracking and relevancy to users. It's more helpful for developers and users, because these links pass data for an application through install and permit not only better attribution but additionally personalized onboarding.

Why Mobile Deep Linking Matters

Screen Shot 2016-04-12 at 3.51.26 PM

via Branch.io

Will Lindemann of TechCrunch notes that initially, adoption of deep linking was slow since the benefits were unclear standard deep linking only labored if your user had the application installed, therefore it wasn’t high priority on product roadmaps. With deferred and much more lately contextual deep linking, this attitude has altered. Companies now realize the need for mobile deep linking for consumer experience, driving engagement, increasing the user onboarding process, promoting their apps and tracking marketing campaigns.Mobile Application Deep Linking Improves The Consumer Experience

Users can easier access content via deep links, with basically no navigation. Additionally ios developer actually help direct users to a particular screens for your application rather of the house screen thus, if you're linking to something inside your application from social networking, a mobile website, etc., users can navigate seamlessly to that particular content.

Designing game narrative | Hitbox Team

This is a really well-considered and approachable look at creating good narrative in games, looking at some of the problems that occur when games forget to be games and think they're movies:

When a cutscene happens, you ignore the whole dimension of interactivity, the thing that makes games unique from film, and put straight up film on the screen. Games with cutscenes are the silent films of games. At least silent films are excused by their technical limitations – no comparable excuse exists for games. The worst part is that the most important plot points tend to happen during cutscenes, while keeping you at a safe distance from actually participating.

'You Can Sleep Here All Night': Video Games and Labor | Jacobin

A revealing and rather shaming indictment of video game developer industry working practices in the US. Is crunch culture trading unfairly on the passion of young developer? Almost certainly.

The author recalls his own experiences as a QA tester at Funcom, working with staff who had been let go by nearby developer Red Storm:

Red Storm at the time employed the bulk of their QAs as temps. Lured in by promises of working their way up the ladder, scores of college kids and young workers would come in, ready to make it in the new Hollywood of the video game developer industry. The pay was minimum wage. The hours were long, with one of my immediate supervisors casually stating that he regularly worked at least 60 hours a week during his time there. Being temps, there were no benefits.

This would go on for the duration of a project, usually the final four months or so. When the temps weren't needed anymore, it was common for groups of them to be rounded up, summarily let go without notice, and told that a call would be forthcoming if their services were needed again.
