Eagle Ford T2G (1966) Engine 4200cc V8
Entrant/Driver: Doug Magnon
The All American Eagle racing team was formed by Dan Gurney and Carroll Shelby in 1964, to contest both Formula One and Champ/Indy Car with the Formula One team (known as Anglo American Eagle) running from Rye, East Sussex and the Champ Cars from Santa Ana, California . The team ran a Lotus38 in the 1965 Indianapolis 500.
Hiring British designer Len Terry to develope their own 1966 car. The resulting Ford-powered Eagle T2G was codeveloped with the Coventry Climax powered Eagle T1G for Formula 1, later using a specially developed Harry weslake engine.
The T2G raced in the 1966 Indianapolis 500 but was not a great sucess, but bigger things were on the horizon for the team on both sides of the Atlantic.

I have provided diagrams for the original 8-Piece New-Found Hope Star by Andrey Hechuev. This is for those who prefer diagrams to develope their own folding sequence instead of following video tutorial. I have not provided the assembly of the modules and you will still need to refer to the video tutorial for the assembly.
The module is actually derived from a 1/2 Fish Base. The template photo shows the change of the angles for the respective number of Modules.
The line marked 8 is for the original 8 module assembly. This is obtained by folding the bottom edge E to the centre E of the square paper. Repeating the fold for the right edge will result in a 1/2 Fish Base. The rest of the crease lines are actually modifications of the 1/2 Fish Base.
For a 12-Module assembly the crease line 12 is obtained by folding the corner C the the middle vertical C.
For 6-Module assembly, fold the bottom edge E to align to crease line 12.
The red lines 7 and 10 are bisectors and are rough estimates for the respective number of modules.
For 9 and 11-module assembly, the angles are in between 8 and 10 and between 10 and 12 respectively.
Finally, for a 5-module assembly, [not shown] simply fold the bottom edge E to align with the crease line marked 8.
Except for the crease lines 6, 8, and 12 all the other crease lines are rough estimates for their respective number of modules.

# 5 Nigel Mansell
# 6 Riccardo Patres
The FW14 was designed by Patrick Head and Adrian Newey for the 1991 season followind dissapointing seasons in 1989 and 1990 in the eyes of both Williams and engine supplier Renault. Newey started work on the new car soon after joining the team from March in mid-1990. He had designed a series of aerodynamically efficient and very effective cars for March on a limited budget, so with Williams' greater resources and money he was able to fully develope his ideas. The design showed enough promise to tempt Nigel Mansell to shelve his plans to retire from the sport and rejoin Williams from Ferrari. Powered by a 3.5 litre V10 Renault engine, the car was the most technically sophisticated on the grid and produced six winns, four for Mansell and two for Patrese. Taking Williams to second in the Constructors Championship with 125 points.
For 1992 the team retained the same driver line up.
By 1992 the FW14B featured a semi automatic gearbox, active suspension, traction control and for a brief period anti-lock brakes. Add to that the superb aerodynamics by Newey that was far ahead of the McLaren MP4/6, Ferrari 643 or Lotus 107, and it made for a potent mix, although at the beginning the disbelievers said the car was too technical for its own good. The FW14B was so successful that its successor (the FW15), which was already available mid season in 1992, was never used.

Egg Mk. I hatched outside, but the caterpillar disappeared when only 1-2 days old (presumed eaten)
Egg Mk. II I believe was the victim of a parasitic wasp or fly. Under the scope the yellow mass outside the empty egg looks to be the remins of a caterpillar that has exploded(?)
But, Tammy brought in two eggs from the recent layings (and the leaves they are on) so hopefully this one will develope normally and then we can provide pictures throughout. Of course this may forever scar the young caterpillar and have it following the paparazzi instead of nectar.
The plan is for Johann to track the development with measurements of the caterpillar as well as the amount of food it eats etc. He has raised butterflies in the past, including monarchs but this time Tammy may make a more formal project of it.
Of course I get to get pictures hopefully!
Right now the egg is literally just a speck. This shot (a 1:1 pixel crop in the large size) was with a 100mm Macro, a 1.4x teleconverter and 48mm of extension tubes.
The egg itself is .02" in diameter.

Shortly after WW!!, Frazer Nash were aquired by the Bristol Aeroplane Company and plans were put forward to develope a luxury Saloon under the Bristol name and a new Frazer Nash sports car, both to be powered by the former BMW 328 engine built under license by Frazer Nash during the second half of 1930s. Though before the cars could be marketed the companies had become independant once more. Bristol built their 400 and susequent models. While Frazer Nash with limited resources produced a sports car that was a clear developement of the BMW. chassis it was new but still consisted of a conventional steel ladder frame. Suspension at the front was through lower wishbones with a single transverse leaf spring. A live rear axle was fitted with torsion bar springs. A development of the overhead-valve 328 engine was, which featured hemispherical combustion chambers. Equipped with three carburettors, it produced around 120 bhp..
A few of these cycle winged High Speed Models were built for competition, one of which achieved third position at the 1949 Le Mans 24 hour race driven by Norman Culpan and Harold John Aldington.
The success prompted orders for these cars, and in honour of the achievment the model was renamed Le Mans Replica, from late 1949 with triple carburettors and larger valve ports and power output of 120bhp Around 50 were sold and competition successes include outright victories in the 1951 Targa Florio (Franco Cortese), and the 1952 Sebring 12 hour (Larry Kulok and Harry Gray)
EAS 841
was exhibited on the Frazer Nash stand at the 1950 New York Autoshow, by then the LeMans Replicas had become consisrant winners, in the 2-litre sports car class. Franco Cortese ran second in Giro di Sicilia before his fuel tank split and in the Mille Miglia he finished sixth overall, second in class. EAS 671 remained in the USA afyer the show, sold to future-1951 Sebring 12-Hours race winner Larry Kulok, and became his personal car. He raced it successfully winnining three events. It then passed quickly through the hands of three members of the Sports Car Club of America fraternity. In 1954 it was sold to Robert H. Sawyer of Hemet, California, and in 1956 it passed to J. Firestone. In 1989 it returned to England and was aquired by former racing Aston Martin owner-driver Mo Skailes who restored it to its former glory days.
In 1952 a Le Mans Replica Mark II version was introduced with a lighter tubular chassis even more stark than the original LeMans Replica with power increased to 125bhp and a de Dion back end.
Production was ended in late 1953 due to the imminent ban on cycle wing, bodied cars in sports car racing. but today the cars remain active in historic events and are extremely valuable, not supringly giving rise to the creation of replica Replicas
In the 1960's or 70's Crosthwaite and Gardiner built a number of replicas, after their restoration of an original frame following a racing accident. These cars used a duplicate tubular chassis and running gear from scrapped Bristols. The finished cars had copies of the Le Mans Replica bodies with the correct instruments and trim.
Another series of replica were began around 1990, by Werner Oswald and associates, who laid down parts for ten cars possibly copied from the Frank Synter Le Mans Replica I. These were sold in kit for (Werner Oswald Kits) also known as WOKs. Around the same time one of the Werner Oswald associates realising the Frazer Nash name had not been registered for a few years bought the title from Companies House. Meaning Oswald could now advertise the cars legally as having been made by Frazer Nash Cars Ltd. avoiding the cars aquiring Q plate registrations as kit cars.

Road Runner
The Road Runner cartoon figure is a cartoon version of the Greater Roadrunner a long-legged fast running bird in the cuckoo family, In cartoon form he was creted by Chuck Jones and Michael Maltese for the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons, along with his arch nemesis Wile E. Coyote who wants to catch and eat him. Together they appear in 49 shorts, their first appearance was in The Fast and the Fury-ous - wonder if Vin Diesel saw it.
Plymouth paid $50,000 to Warner Bros.-Seven Arts to use the Road Runner name and likeness from their Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner cartoons (as well as a "beep, beep" horn, which Plymouth paid $10,000 to develope)
Many thanks for a fantabulous
