Maybe this was what John Lennon had in mind when he wrote "Tomorrow Never Knows" -- heck, the song title even sounds like a 50s sci-fi flick.
But probably not.

SEALASKA HERITAGE INSTITUTE’S 10th BIENNIAL
NORTHWEST COAST JURIED
ART SHOW & COMPETITION
2020
=======================================================
Sealaska Heritage Institute sponsored its first Juried Art Show & Competition in 2002, and since then it has become a biennial event held during Celebration, a major four-day dance-and-culture festival in Juneau hosted by the institute. SHI sponsors the art show in an effort to reaffirm the greatness of Northwest Coast art traditions and to promote the continued evolution of those traditions in Southeast Alaska.
The goals of the show are:
•to encourage and enhance the creation and production of Southeast Alaska Native objects of artistic value which are becoming rare;
•to stimulate and enhance the quality of artistic work among our Native artisans;
•and to encourage the development of new forms of art of purely Southeast Alaska Native form and design.
Northwest Coast art is unique in the world. Nothing on Earth compares to the great Northwest Coast formline designs and the monumental totem poles and clan houses that populate Haa Aani-OurLand-or to the intricate Chilkat and Ravenstail woven robes that can take years to complete.
For the 2022 show, artists competed in five divisions:
1. 2D and relief carving (relief carving; painting);
2. carving and sculpture (wood, metal);
3. weaving(Chilkat-inspired, Ravenstail, basketry);
4. sewing (vest,skin and fur, beadwork); and endangered arts (spruce root basketry).
Eight winning pieces from the 2020 virtual Juried Art Show are also on display.
Sealaska Heritage is a private nonprofit founded in 1980 to perpetuate and enhance Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian cultures of Southeast Alaska. Its goal is to promote cultural diversity and cross-cultural understanding through public services and events. Find out more at www.sealaskaheritage.org.
PLEASE, NO invitations or self promotions, THEY WILL BE DELETED. My photos are FREE to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know, thanks.
This is where I would spend the next couple of nights.

We had some first prints made totally unofficially, just to see how my photographs appear when printed.
There is work I need to do with the watermark and some details. Then choose the sizes to be available, as much as decide on the paper.
Apart from that, we are both very happy with my work, so it will be launched soon in my Etsy shop.
But first of all, vacations! We are flying tonight to Greece, with a stop at Apartment 44, from where I might post a picture or two here and over at Mrs Busy Bee, if the time allows for it.
I also need to charge my batteries because upon my return continuous work awaits for me, something I'm very pleased with.
Happy - belated - 1st of June to all!...and if you live in a place of this world where Summer is on its way...Happy summer and happy vacation to all of you!
Love, health, creativity & happiness :)!

Marina Bay
Marina Bay is a bay near Central Area in the southern part of Singapore, and lies to the east of the Downtown Core. Marina Bay is set to be a 24/7 destination with endless opportunities for people to “explore new living and lifestyle options, exchange new ideas and information for business, and be entertained by rich leisure and cultural experiences”. It is here where the most innovative facilities and infrastructure such as the underground “common services tunnel” are built and where mega activities take place.

Who wouldn't want to visit Arcadia?
In the eighteenth and nineenth century, many travellers described Wales as an Arcadia, or Eden. Here is one in 1768:
"Happy in finding an asylum among these impregnable fortresses built by the hand of nature which were formerly their security against the power, and since against the luxury, of the English: environed on all sides by these, they enjoy tranquility without indolence, liberty that degenerates not into licentiousness, and plenty without luxury. Thus they enjoy a happiness unknown in better cultivated countries, which opulence cannot purchase.”

Pues esta foto es de mi primer amanecer en Lanzarote. Anduve yo haciendo sedas en unas piedritas y de repente vi a lo lejos el aeropuerto y esta estructura para guiar a los aviones a la pista.
Allí me fuí y me harté a hacer fotos.
Mejor aun fué unos días mas tarde que llegue antes y me puse a favor del sol... pero eso ya llegará a este foro...
Use un ND400 que ya había mucha luz y lo pedía a gritos.
