Bagan is located in what is now the Mandalay Division, 155 km southwest of the city of Mandalay on the east bank of the Irrawaddy, halfway between its source and its mouth in the Indian Ocean and is now one of the most important tourist destinations in Myanmar.

We didn't know exactly where we were going... but that is the best way to explore.

Semmering is a popular destination for day-trippers from Vienna.
Sometime between them falling asleep and Winston sneezing, the two souls were slowly entering another dimension. That place between reality and a dream where anything was possible.
All their dreams, aspirations and hopes appearing around them as their surroundings begin shifting. From plain, worn out and metallic to mossy, flowers and the smell of the wind.
Perhaps if Winston did not sneeze, they would have been sucked into one of their 'adventures'...
P.S. Had the luxury on my 1 day off to have been invited by a ginger for a photo session! We decided to do our own versions and I adore the variety!

For our Bank Holiday last Monday we choose a destination I read about and which I really wanted to see for myself - the Cosdon Hill Bronze Age triple stone row. Cosdon Hill is a prominent marker of North Dartmoor, with 550m being the second highest peak of the National Park and can be seen for miles around. Our walk began in Sticklepath which is merely 30 min away from home. The path followed ancient stone walls gradually uphill and I was thankful for my new hiking boots (the old ones were ~17 y old!!!) which are waterproof as the path was more of a little stream due to the recent rainfalls. Once reaching open ground stunning views across Devon and Dartmoor opened up and I was over the moon to find the stone rows visited by a group of Dartmoor ponies! The triple stone row might be as old as 2.500 B.C. and is a colossal 146m in length! It might have been used for ceremonial purposes but one can only imagine...
There are also two burial chambers on the head of the standing stones so plenty of fascinating history to explore! For my photo the two white ponies were kind enough to pose nicely and I am very happy with the result!
