Prepping the tablet for my RSS workshop at CIL. (I'm out traveling around Washington (state) all next week so I've got to get ready now while I've got the time.)
Como ya es de costumbre...aqui mi desktop, ahora recibiendo una poca de luz natural.
Ahh y con el fondo de pantalla de 'Leopardo'
This is an exploded view of all the islands so that you can see the customisation potential.
With this series you can control your own Empire; right from your very own desk!
The series would have one base set with 1 island and a few accessories (trees, buildings, landforms, ships, catapults) and an ocean basepad. You could expand your Empire as you buy more islands and even build your own islands and accessories!
The fact that the islands are not all one piece enables you to rearrange them to suit your needs. You can combine with other islands or make new ones. It is all up to you!

My first try at a GeekTool v3.0.2 desktop
I found it by accident in the AppStore, downloaded it and gave it a try. Followed the "White Sand" desktop tutorial but ended up recreating the concept with one of my own pictures. This is my wife, standing on the edge of a cliff in Madeira, a Portuguese island in the Atlantic. We were way above the clouds, and you can see the sea down below. Amazing place, amazing moment, even better desktop! Now I'm looking for tutorials on how to get live weather information. It's just a shame that I can no longer use different desktop backgrounds for all the "spaces" I have in my Mission Control.
Any suggestions?
He Cares for You
If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? (Matthew 6:30 NIV)

It's not really a thanksgiving desktop, but I didn't have much to do this break, so I made this.
The desktop comes from National Geographic's 2009 Photography Contest, there are a lot of other great desktops there so check it out

I have geektool commands showing the date and time, honestly, that's all I ever use
the icons were based off of the reflections icons, I just used that photoshop thing that was in the pack and made my own, converted them into .icns and used candybar to replace my original icons with these. To make it so that there is no name, just make the name a space.
That's pretty much my desktop
I based this theme from one that I saw on Lifehacker a long time ago, but added my own personal little touches for the information that I need. Like most of my other desktops, everything is done in Samurize with RocketDock for the dock.
As usual I like to keep my desktop nice and tidy. (Actually I tidied up a bit before taking the screenshot since I had a load of folders with stuff I'm sorting there. :D)

Put the 3 CB750 images (All the largest size I have posted) in a folder then in your desktop settings choose that folder and make sure the Change Picture box is checked. Then your screen will slowly fade from one color to the next.
