This is another abstract made from an in-camera multiple exposure of two ICM images.
The subject was a pussy willow tree just coming into bud in March. The two movements for the ICMs were horizontal and vertical. The camera blend mode was Lighten I am pretty sure.
Oversaturated and sharpened in C1/Affinity as usual.
I find these abstracts rather curious. The ICMs work best when there is a lot of fine detail and contrast in the subject (in this case it was the light buds and branches against a darker blue sky).

Recently I bought the second monitor and decide to make a new theme for my new desktop. Because I have two Toro from Dokodemo issyo figure sitting on my desk, then I decide to dress up my Monitors with Toro Wallpapers :)
This is a tight frame of the amazing exterior of the EMP (Experience Music Project) Museum in Seattle, WA. If this looks familiar, a similar image was part of the standard Windows 7 desktop backgrounds. I had quite the ah-ha moment when I realized that.
When world-renowned architect Frank O. Gehry designed EMP, he was inspired to create a structure that evoked the rock 'n' roll experience without being too literal. He purchased several electric guitars, sliced them into pieces, and used them as structural elements for an early model design. Visitors can still see the influence of the instrument in the museum's wildly undulating, brightly colored facade.

Taken on a walk this morning through the Kurnell National Park NSW Australia. The clouds had just started to clear and the sun was heating things up, I took this photo sitting my camera on the ground and just took shots not knowing the result till I had a look at the screen. I uploaded my first set of blends, "80 Male Underwear Models," almost exactly one year ago.

That set was meant to be sardonic, tongue-in-cheek, and highly mathematical. Since then, I have worked on my blending technique much of the last year, and so I decided to revisit my initial subject matter.

Windows 8 Inspired Desktop.
The background images were taken from flatmo1 at DeviantArt (http://flatmo1.deviantart.com/art/EIGHT-Firefox-start-page-212847573?offset=10#comments).
To save resources I took a screenshot of the backgrounds after assembling them and removed the background to transparent to use in Geektools and other wallpapers.
I should get back to studying...
Valensole
Valensole is situated in the middle of a magnificent plateau of lavender and almond trees and is true to its name: Valensole comes from the Latin "vallis" and "solis" meaning the valley of sun.
Valensole has been able to conserve its character and charm typical of Haute Provence villages.
It is a pleasure to stroll through the narrow streets of the old city. It is also a health resort well appreciated for its pure fresh air.
The countryside all around (plateau de Valensole ) is pertectly beautiful especially in the spring when the almond trees are in bloom. In the summer aromas of lavender and thym waft through the air confirming the fact that Valensole is one of the most important producers of lavender in Provence.
This is my notebook's desktop at the moment because I'm playing Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time for the DS right now, and I'm loving it. It matches my cellphone's Paper Mario theme too.
