This be me desktop, mateys. I used to have a more colorful dock with a million more apps on it, but those days of clutter are over.
Apps, from left to right
Finder- Finds things
Quicksilver- Opens things. Fast.
iChat- magic beans.
Adium- Use multiple accounts for Instant Messaging. You should know this one.
Safari- like in Africa
Flickr Uploadr- What's Flickr?
iTunes- plays music, duh.
Pages '09- gives words meanings
Spaces- Give you a bit more space. Love this.
Mail- email.
Photoshop- 'shops photos
Lightroom- Use this from most of my photo editing on here
iPhoto- Organizes your photos
Pixelmator- I dont think i've ever opened this. *removes*
App Zapper- Deletes unwanted Apps, and anything else that the app came with (such as bundled software). Better than just trashing an app.
Time Machine- I go back in time. Liek teh island!??!
Preview- Previews things
Photobooth- Oh jeez.
Text Edit- Edits text. But you already knew that.
System Prefs- Prefs for da system!

Running AIMP2 which uses the default winamp plugin for Samurize to show album and artist info in the bottom left corner 5f2lpg
Running RocketDock, with the "Reflection Dock" Pack tinyurl.com/6zyvvj
HUGE thanks to Kaelri for the Samurize config, which i tweaked and customized a little.
I also put a link to "My Dropbox" on the desktop. Used a custom icon from the "Aeromilked Icon pack"
My favorite music program AIMP2 is running on the desktop. in the upper right corner.
Also I'm just running alot of my favorite programs seen in the system tray.
(Pidgin with the fantastic theme that Adam listed in his "Top Ten Plugins for Pidgin")
(My Dropbox, uTorrent, Pidgin, Last.fm, Printer software, OneNote (just started using frequently thanks to LH) Samurize, AnyDVD, and wakoopa)
