I got the Designer Ariel and King Triton set from my local Disney Store on its release day, Tuesday November 14, 2017. It is the fifth and last Designer set released this year. There were only about 10 people entered in the raffle, so they didn't bother to call out names, and we just lined up at the register. My set is #3274 of 6000.

Here are photos I took of the promo placard and display dolls at my local Disney Store today. They were only supposed to display the Cinderella doll (which is actually the second doll to be released). But the manager brought out the Snow White, Jasmine and Ariel dolls from the back so I can see them and take photos. They have not yet received the last two dolls to be released, Tiana and Belle. The placard lists the release dates and photos of the dolls, along with their edition sizes. They will be released one per week on Saturday, starting on October 6, rather than the usual Tuesday. They will start to hand out vouchers starting an hour before store opening and lasting about 30 minutes. They will then announce the winners of the raffle about 20 minutes before store opening, who may then purchase the doll being released that day. The online release will take place at 12:01 AM (Pacific time) on the morning of that same day. Each doll will cost $109.95.

The schedule of releases (for the US and Canada):

Snow White, 10/6/2018, LE 4100

Cinderella, 10/13/2018, LE 4400

Jasmine, 10/20/2018, LE 4000

Ariel, 10/27/2018, LE 4500

Tiana, 11/3/2018, LE 4000

Belle, 11/10/2018, LE 4500

The official announcement was made by the ShopDisney Facebook page this morning with a video of the dolls:

Two years ago, my computer died and i had to give up on buying cinderella and prince charming fairytale designer dolls. I always wanted to buy it but I didn’t want to pay more than the original price or just 20 more than the orignal price at best. And today, the the dolls resales market plumetting, i got my wish!

i’m so happy

I actually thought they would be closer in head molds, but they aren't!

Pocahontas is now completely deboxed. She is lying down, with her hair braids by her sides. She has the same body and head as the 2014 Classic Pocahontas doll, but with obvious changes to her face and hair. Her external hinged knee joints are largely hidden by the trim of her dress, and her articulated ankles enable her to stand flat footed.

Deboxing Pocahontas. She has been freed from the large plastic spacer, but her right foot is still attached to a small plastic piece at the base. She is also tied to the doll stand that supports her, and her shawl is tied down in various places. There are also two rubber bands around her hair, which are in two sections. The rubber bands are removed, and her hair moved out of the way so I can remove the wire around her waist. Her golden crown has come apart in the back. The tiny post on one end that goes into a tiny hole on the other end doesn't stay in very well. Her shawl is raised so we can undo the wire around her left leg, tying her to the doll stand. Her right foot is freed from the plastic holder on the base, and now she can be freed from the doll stand. She is placed face down on a counter to continue the deboxing process. First I cut the plastic fasteners tying the shawl to itself and to her dress. I leave alone a couple of the fasteners that tighten the shawl around her wrists, so that the shawl doesn't fall off her arms. The next step is to tidy up her hair by combing it out. In the process a large amount of her hair came out, but not enough to affect her appearance. Her hair was still very full, and there were not any visible bald spots. Her hair was straight and free from hair product (except right around the front of her face). But the top was messy, and it was tangled, especially near the ends. It also got a little frizzy after combing. There are two thin full length braids on either side of her head, that were largely hidden under her hair when she was boxed. The last step is to snap the two ends of her crown together.

Deboxing the Pocahontas and John Smith Doll Set. The slip cover and acrylic covers have been taken off, so the dolls are in clear view in the display case. The dolls are attached to the built in doll stands, and to the plastic and cardboard backing. Then the backing was opened up by cutting the tape holding it together on the edges. The tabs and wires are now accessible so the dolls can be removed from the backing. The backing was cut off from the base after the dolls were freed from the backing. The dolls are now attached to the large plastic spacer and two smaller ones, by rubber bands, plastic t-tabs and wires. They are now removed from plastic spacers. John Smith can now be taken from the doll stand. Pocahontas is still attached to the doll stand by additional restraints. Photo taken in daylight.

Photos of my Limited Edition Pocahontas and John Smith 12'' Designer Doll Set. Second of five releases in the 2014 Disney Fairytale Designer Collection. I purchased them in store on the release day, Tuesday Sept. 30, 2014. They are #1352 of 6000, and cost $129.95. I think these dolls follow the artwork very well, and look very good together. I like the colors and textures of Pocahontas' outfit and accessories much better than the original Designer Pocahontas doll (released in October 2011). I also think her face is prettier and her expression gentler and more natural. John Smith also has a good expression, and doesn't look as bland as most of the other Designer Princes. The couple are presented side by side in the box, so are both very well shown.

I believe this is a hoverfly (Fam. Syrphidae). It lacks the yellow, wasp-like bands on the body that are frequently present in hover flies. However, the "headgear" fits a hoverfly rather than a horse fly. Horse flies are known for the color patters in their eyes. These seem to have regular patterns (like bands) as opposed to the random dot pattern in these "designer shades".

Dear friends, you are more than welcome to visit my channel.

These are some photos regarding my eleventh Lego MOC set named Cartoon series.

Dear all, we finally come to the last series, and I am kind of proud of myself because I have put a lot of effort in every series. Constant brainstorming and continual modifications, each vehicle is my finest work. And, of course, doctoring pictures is just another perspiration. Many Many

thanks for your accompany all along. Last but not least, hope you can also enjoy this final series of my Lego MOC.

There are still 6 videos (size comparison videos) to go. However, it is Chinese New Year now in my country; therefore, the rest of the videos may be a little bit late- perhaps I will have more time in mid-Feburary. Anyhow, wish all my dear family and my friends safe and sound in this beautiful season. :)

This set includes:

(1) Chibi Batpod: Based on the special-designed motorcycle in the film-Dark Knight Trilogy. I built this batpod-like but a bit more compact. The proportion and style are particularly adjusted. A shout-out to whoever design the original batpod.

(2) Batmobile (Tumbler): Once again, this is another MOC also from Dark Knight Trilogy. Well, according the designer, this tank-like tumbler is a mixture of Hummer and Lamborghini. I can tell you that this is by far and so far my favorite batmobile among all the movie, or cartoon- batmobiles.

How do you like my own version of tumbler?

(3) Assault Batmobile: Simply put, this is kind of a modified version of the official set-76045, known as BvS batmobile from the movie Batman v Superman. The body lines of the official one is a bit complex so I thought if I can still keep its initial assault design but with sleeker and simpler body line(s). For me, I like the rear part of this batmobile most.

(4) Knightcrawler: Hmmm.... How should I start it? My idea all began from the official set-76086, and.... the official one is so ugly....(sorry but I do think so..) From the first sight I saw knightcralwer in the theater, I immediately understood Lego failed to nail its real shape and spirit. Additionally, the idea of making knightcrawler a tank for my Lego batman series is in my brain that I could never get rid of. I used some illegal techniques (I glued some parts to make it looks more like the movie version.) Nontheless, I am satisfied with the final work very much.

(5) Hoverboat: Lego released the first batman hoverboat-7780 in 2006. I have to say it is an awesome set to play with. However, I care so much about the size and proportion (for a minifigure scale). So I downsized it with some touches based on my personal preference.

(6) Batwing: From the official set 76027, this batwing became one of my favorite aircraft among all my mocs/mods.

Thank you so much for viewing my Lego works. My only intention is to share. Hope you like these cute toys. peace. :)

Dear friends, you are more than welcome to visit my channel.

These are some photos regarding my tenth Lego MOC set named Cartoon series.

Perhaps this is a set with my favorite Batman minifigure (lol). I came up with this crazy idea when I saw all the offcial sets in 2019. Honestly, the combination of color black, red and yellow make great match in my opinion, and I was extremely thrilled and somehow just cannot wait

to build a "CARTOONIZED" series for batman. Now hope you can enjoy and appreciate these funky vehicles. :)

This set includes:

(1) Chibi Spider-Android: A modified version of the official set- 30243. And for some reason I just have an idea that a bat along with a spider is a fun match-up if I really want to build to cartoonized version of batman chibi vehicle.

(2) Batmobile: Umm...I think i put part of the 1966 batmobile concept into this cartoon batmible. And I particularly love its "blocky" and chucky look. Fun fact: If you take a close look at it, you will find out there are 8 wheels in total.

(3) Batcycle: I don't really have some special explanations for this motorcycle. It is designed as my other motorbike- a little angled up in the middle and tried to create a beautiful bodyline for it. However, I do believe that the stickers play a vital role overall.

(4) Bat Mech: This giant Bat-Mech is inspired by the official set- 76117. However, I don't really dig the original version, especially the leg design. I think you can see the obvious difference with this optimized version. And hopefully I successfully give a more menacing feel/look to it.

(5) Batsub: Yes, the official set- 76116, I didn't do much with this set for its original appearance is so great already. A few touches and modifications were done to it only.

(6) Flying Fox: I can't tell you how much I love the vehicles in the movie Justice League, though the first version is such a "DISASTER" the way I see it. And the later Snyder cut version is way~~ better in my opinion; There is no reason that I don't build a cartoon version of this already well-designed aircraft from the movie.

Thank you so much for viewing my Lego works. More pictures of the last series are coming in soon. My only intention is to share. Hope you like these cute toys. peace. :)

The section of a local Disney Store displaying the Disney Fairytale Designer Collection, on Saturday, August 24, 2013. The collection was released in stores on Monday August 19, 2013, and online last Monday, August 12, 2013. Unlike my other local store, here all of the Designer dolls were on display. They had a good supply of all the Designer mugs, which are now sold out online. They also had journals, notecards Lithograph sets and cosmetics. There was no clothing or accessories (handbags, wallets, T-shirts, etc.).

D23 Designer Coronation Elsa, fully deboxed. She is posed standing, supported by a Kaiser doll stand, rather than on her Designer doll stand.

The cape is magenta with a black embroidery and magenta jewels, and is fully lined with magenta satin. Her skirt is teal with multicolored embroidery and jewels, and is also fully lined. Her separate bodice matches the skirt in color and decorations, and has the black blouse sewn to it. She is wearing blue green stretch gloves, so she is fully covered up. She is holding the royal golden orb and scepter, attached by rubber bands to her hands. Finally she has a golden crown with a blue gem in the center.

Photos of the D23 Exclusive Designer Elsa and Hans doll set. I purchased it on its release day, Friday August 14, 2015. It is Limited Edition and cost $129.95. My set is #758 of 1023. It is part of the 2015 Disney Fairytale Designer Collection, but is a variant of the LE 6000 version. This D23 version has Elsa and Hans in their coronation outfits. The regular version has Elsa in her Snow Queen outfit, and Hans in his normal gray outfit, and will be released in stores and online on October 27-28, 2015.

Hans is in white, and Elsa is in teal and purple. Elsa is also holding her golden coronation orb and scepter. They are posable 12'' dolls. They are supported by built in doll stands, and inside of a display case with a golden nameplate and protected by a clear acrylic cover, with a fully illustrated slipcover over that.

Elsa is very similar to the Limited Edition Coronation Elsa 17'' Doll that was released in March 2014. One big difference is that Designer Elsa has her royal orb and scepter, and a blue jewel in her crown, that are missing from the 17'' doll.

Candid street shot, Honiton, Devon. This guy was waiting to have a haircut at an open air barber, but it was raining so the "open air" was limited to an "open tent".

Designer stubble is a short growth of a man's facial hair that became popular in the 1980s. This style was worn by singer George Michael and actor Don Johnson and was adopted by many others.

Several companies manufacture beard trimmers designed to maintain designer stubble, which is also known as "five o'clock shadow".
