I wanted to become a Fashion Designer. When I was in Jharkhand I always dreamt of having wings and flying to Mumbai to make my dreams become reality.

Could not become a designer, but became a photographer.

I reach here by 6 am, click pictures of the tourists all day long and return home at 8 pm.

Now Gateway of India is my sky and like these pigeons i have my own small flights.

The Limited Edition Ariel and Eric Doll Set, #12 of 6000, in their display case, with the clear acrylic cover removed. None of the factory restraints have been removed, but I have cleaned up Ariel's face a bit, and cut off a loose thread from her blouse. Photographed using built-in camera flash.

My pre-ordered Ariel and Eric Doll Set, from the Disney Fairytale Designer Collection. It arrived on October 15, 2013, and I was thrilled to see that they are numbered #012 of 6000! It matches the number of the other doll sets in the pre-order, except that Snow White and the Prince is #4508 of 6000. There are some slight scratches on the gold nameplate and on the acrylic cover of the display case, but they are very minor, and don't diminish the look of the set. Ariel's head is posed a bit awkwardly, but I'll see if I can adjust it a bit without undoing any of the shipping restraints. There is also a loose thread hanging from the left sleeve of Ariel's blouse. Otherwise, Ariel and Eric look very beautiful, and in perfect shape. I'm so happy that I have them after failing to get them in the in-store raffle earlier in the day.

I'm not going to debox the dolls in this set, but I am going to take photos of it boxed, with the cover sleeve off, and with the clear acrylic cover off, to show off the dolls as much as possible without actually removing them from their factory restraints.

Spent the holiday weekend doing some much needed updating. I do graphic and web design, yet my own site had been falling sadly out of date. Today I finished creating an entirely new look and feel.

*finally!!*

I plan to add actual pages for the photography and artwork... and THEN probably link to the additional websites from within the pages. For now though, this seems like a good start.

Snow White and the Prince - Limited Edition Doll Set

Disney Fairytale Designer Collection

$129.95 US

US Disney Store

Released and purchased in store on August 20, 2013.

First Look

There were 18 Snow White doll sets at the store, and only about a dozen people who entered the raffle for the chance to buy them. So from the get go, I knew I was sure to leave with the dolls. There was one lady in the group that I remembered from the Designer Villain raffles, and we caught up on how our doll collections were growing. Also another person waiting for the dolls said she actually got the Designer Pin Set in her cart, and purchased them, but got an ''I'm sorry'' email later saying that the item was sold out, and they were refunding her money.

At about 1:07 pm, they called out 5 names at a time to purchase the dolls. My name was actually called out first. Then we were marched into the store to buy the dolls. The store only had the Snow White dolls set on display behind the counter, and none of the other dolls on display at all. The main Fairytale Designer Collection display was unchanged, except that the Ariel mugs were now sold out. So I decided not to take any photos inside the store, since there was no real changes, and I couldn't take any closeups of the Snow White set on display.

Just after purchasing the dolls, I set them down at a table outside the Disney Store. Then I took a peek at the dolls to make sure there were no defects, before leaving with them. I first took the box out of the Designer Fairytale Gift Bag. Then I took the sleeve off the box, to reveal the dolls inside of a clear acrylic display case, with a gold base and nameplate. The case and dolls looked perfect to me. The serial number is #558 of 6000.

I will photograph the set boxed, during the deboxing, and fully deboxed. I will also pose the dolls next to comparable dolls, for instance the Gold D23 Snow White doll set.
