After his Tucker adventure Alex Tremulis (USA, 1914-1991) became head of advanced design at Kaiser-Frazer Corporation. There he would work together with Howard "Dutch" Darrin (USA, 1897-1982) and Robert Cadwallader.

People will know how much I love the Rapunzel DS sculpt it bordered on an obsession 2011-2012. This has to be the last one for my collection

Flynn looks creepy but to me he's a dressed accessory, lol.

Signature long hair romantically styled with braiding and flowers. Printed satin corset bodice with puffed velvet sleeves. Warm illuminating lantern. (does it glow in the dark?!)
Layered gown with ornate golden detailing. Rich velvet overlay with gemstones and gold printed inset.
Suede-like vest that's belted with a satchel to hold the Princess' crown. Boots to finish his rugged look.

The gallery of designer Christmas trees on Kuznetsky Most near the Central Department Store has already become a good tradition of the Journey to Christmas festival. Decorated by designers, famous musicians, artists and media personalities, Christmas trees are on display here for the sixth time. The main theme of the project this year is “Christmas Trees in Big Cities. New Year Traditions”, therefore, walking along this festival site, you can visit Paris and Madrid, New York and Lisbon, Seoul and Copenhagen. And, of course, see the Christmas tree inspired by Moscow.

Well I made good progress on my latest edit which uses a HDR filter. So while it isn’t a true HDRI shot.
I want to make it work to the best of my ability. Aside from that I want to thank everyone who has been patient.
Right what about my XJ13 update. The good news is the final shots before stage 2 were captured last month.
Designer, Medicom and Classic Anna dolls, in winter gear. They are all about 11 1/2 inches tall. Designer Anna is in her troll wedding cape and crown, but otherwise her outfit is the same as the other two dolls.
Detailed photos of my Medicom Real Action Heroes Anna 1/6 scale action figure. I show her boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed. She comes with her Snow Gear outfit, with cape and cap as accessories. The cape is wired so it is posable. Out of the box she has a blouse, bodice, skirt, wired underskirt, bloomers and boots. Her front bangs, face, hands, and boots are removable. She has no separate feet, only pegs that go from the boots directly into holes in her legs. She comes with three faces, two pairs of gloved hands and three pairs of bare hands. She is highly articulated, and has more freedom of movement than a Disney Store Princess doll. If you remove her face, you can move her eyes from the inside. Her dual braids are flexible, so can be posed, and are free to move along with her head when it is turned around. She stands 11.5 inches tall, just slightly shorter than Classic Anna. She cannot free stand, so when she is deboxed, she is supported by the included clear plastic display stand. She is a very accurate depiction of the animated character. Her face is probably more accurate than the Disney Anna 12 inch dolls, although her standard face out of the box is maybe a bit too goofy, especially with the crossed eyes. Her molded hair is definitely more accurate than the Disney Store Anna dolls, especially the braids. Her outfit has no glitter, jewels or embroidery, but has bloomers that the Disney Store Anna dolls lack, and is much better quality than the Classic Anna, and approaches that of Designer Anna. For now I only show her in her standard state, without her cap and cape. But I will soon put her through her paces, trying out her various accessories and posing her in different ways. I will also compare her side by side with the DS Classic and Designer Anna dolls.

London Transport has always relied heavily on income from commercial advertising revenues - monies made by selling advertising space on vehicles, stations and structures. In the 1930s the Commercial Advertising Department were themselves prolific advertisers in relevant trade journals (here in Art & Industry) and issued much publicity themselves. As in keeping with the company's strong ethos of 'fitness for purpose' even humble press adverts have a real sense of style about them as seen here.
Advertising escalator panel spaces this advert, both graphic and text, plays cleverly on 'steps' - steps on the escalator and the advertiser's next steps. It is thoughtfully set out, typographically, and the graphic captures escalators, passengers looking and a "step'. It is by "Eckersley-Lombers", the pre-war partnership of designers and artists Tom Eckersley and Eric Lombers who also produced many posters and panel/car posters for LT as well.
The last line is very fine : The LT roundel symbol and "You can't get away from it"!
Mums Hunter wellies, that we no longer use. Just taking a picture of the label looks awesome.
I don't know if iv'e overdone the vintage feel to these photos, but i like it!

Week 2!
Our friends at the Frontroom in Cambridge are curating the Designers/Makers market in Hackney, London for the summer and they asked us to get involved. We are taking care of the first two weekends and followed by some great others.
For our part we set up our temporary 'Fresh Ones' painting studio and made some spontaneous paintings.
