"This is CC-1807 to command, be advised our entry point into the sewers is blocked by a large crowd of protesters we're moving to the secondary entry point how copy?"

"Hold on... disregard my last, the General is going to draw the crowd away, we'll be making entry at the primary location."

" Eh sure is useful having one of them around isn't commander?"

"Since you like him so much Jester, you can take your squad and watch his back."

"Feir'Fek..."

-

-

-

-

"Command be advised we are entering the sewers now."

"Hound take your squad and establish a security position down stream of the target area, Atin take your men and circle around up stream, watch our backs and keep an eye out for runners... we don't want anyone slipping away. "

"Roger that sir."

"On it"

"The rest of you with me."

-

"Command be advised we're in position, prepare to cut the power on my go."

"Mark"

"NODs on boys, lets get this done"

-

-

(a brief fire fight ensues, the Corellian Separatist are completely caught off guard, firing blindly into the dark unable to locate the elite ARC troopers who pick them off with ease)

-

-

"Cease fire cease fire!"

"Anyone have eyes on the target?"

"He's right here commander, the shabuir got himself killed..."

"Feir'Fek. Notify command that the target is kia, and mission accomplished."

"Commander I got a live one up here! We taking prisoners?"

"Negative."

-

-

(The sound of a lone blaster firing is heard, followed the dull thud of a body falling from the catwalk)

-

-

"Trooper what's the meaning of this!"

"Shab... General?"

"The mission was to take them alive, not slaughter them while they stood blind in the dark."

"General with all due respect, the mission stated dead or alive. I wasnt going to risk the lives of my men trying to take these Di'kuts alive."

"They weren't soldiers, just angry civilians, they didn't pose a threat, they didn't have to die..."

"They were armed and you don't have do be a soldier to get lucky... I'm not sure what your superiors briefed you on before they assigned you here, but this is the 253rd General, we're the best of the best. We're dropped into some of the worst battles, ones with little chance of success and expected to win. Every trooper counts and I will not risk the lives of my men fighting fed up laborers in the core."

"Lucky have your squad fan out and search for any actionable intel linking this cell to the Seps and what their endgame was. The rest of you prep the incendiaries, we're done here..."

It's great to be on break and to have a week to do relax, build and put off a calc project : P

Really happy with how this build came out, though it was a struggle to figure out the posing for the figures, regardless it was a ton of fun and honestly the whole idea came from me wanting to use those yellow cross pieces for something.

As always thanks for viewing and have a good one!

"The sublevels beneath the monastery proved trickier to navigate than I had anticipated, frankly we would have gotten lost on multiple occasions if it weren't for our Mandalorian guide. She seemed to know her way around these catacombs, a detail which she had failed to mention prior to joining my squad for this rescue mission. I had hunch that these very tunnels had been used by the Legion's Mandalorian Scouts to infiltrate the monastery prior to our assault. The tunnels themselves were cramped, just barely tall enough for the Mandalorian to stand upright, while myself and my squad were forced to hunch forward to avoid hitting our helmeted heads on the ceiling. To make matters worst the narrow confines of the tunnels forced us to move in a file and left very little room to maneuver, they were in every aspect an utter death trap. Frankly it was a miracle Captain Jaro had managed to lead his squad this deep into the monasteries sublevels, let alone the two Separatist officers and their battle droids. Up ahead the Mandalorian motioned for a halt and I moved forward sliding past several crouching troopers, my armor scraping against the rounded stone walls.

"What is it?" I asked peering past her at where the tunnel suddenly stopped, and a narrow set of stone stairs began.

"We're here." She said motioning towards the stairs with the barrel of her massive scatter gun.

"Roger. I'll tell the boys" I said, turning and motioning to the rest of Vornskr to prepare for battle. Voices could be heard below, most prominently that of a Harch, his voice distinguishable by the constant clicking, a T-Series Droid, and Captain Jaro. It sounded like the Harch and the droid were interrogating the Captain, which would likely put him in our line of fire. Switching to my internal comms I told Vornskr to check their fire and to hold off on thermal detonators, before giving the Mandalorian a thumbs up, signifying that we were ready to go. Without a moments delay she threw herself down the stairs firing into the room below with both her scatter gun and a wrist mounted weapon. Vornskr's advance down the stairs was not nearly as quick or graceful as we rushed forward in a half crouch. Luckily the sudden attack by the Mandalorian had distracted the Separatists enough for Vornskr to clear the chokepoint and enter the room unscathed. A brief firefight then ensued, seeing a number of battle droids destroyed, Captain Jaro rescued, and the capture of the Harch who had been stunned by the Mandalorian. There was a second Separatist officer present, a Yinchorri, but unlike his Harch counterpart, he must not have been worth a bounty as the Mandalorian had simply incinerated him. Our mission had been a success, and we had been lucky enough not to suffer any serious casualties. The day was won, but not over as unfortunately it was a long trek back to the surface..."

Finally got around to building mission 6.3 for the 253rd, while there's not much to the build itself, I'm happy with how it came out. Unfortunately I might be going back into hibernation as my desk is about to be taken hostage by a rather large Lego Castle and I'm not sure if I'll have the space or time to build anything else (I will try though).

As always thanks for stopping by and have a good one!

Statement of Cultural Heritage Value or Interest:

The property is valued for the 19th century in the Thousand Island region, and is a unique example of ltalianate style and is a rare surviving example of an early 19th century rural property.

Alm Villa is a grand masonry structure with a symmetrical design with a commanding central wood cupola, side gables of the front/main section, and back ell (extending the east side wall, and setback from the front section on the west side) which accommodates both the principal stair and, further back, the lower service wing. The main section is 2.5 storeys (including the principal stair portion) and the service wing is 1.5 storeys.

The property has contextual value as a local landmark and has contributed to the character of Gananoque since the 1850s. Although located within the town limits, its primary visual links are to the Thousand lslands.

Heritage attributes of Alma Villa are:

• An excellent example of the Italianate style;

• Grand masonry structure with a symmetrical design topped by a commanding central wood cupola, side gables of the front/main section, and back ell (extending flush with the east side wall, and setback from the front section on the west side) which accommodates both the principal stair and, further back, the lower service wing;

• 2 5 storey main/front section (which includes the principal stair window) and the 1.5 storey service wing;

• The central focus of the building on the slightly projecting front entrance bay, with the wide arch over the ground level main entrance, flanked by side lights: above which are paired round-headed windows, and then an oculus window under the gable;

• The detailing of the wood cupola, with its two round-headed windows on each angle, and finial top;

• The random course sandstone walls with more finely dressed treatment for the quoining, the principal door surround, and the arches of both the entrance on the west elevation below the large round-headed stair window, and the rear service wing door - all set below shallow, wide segmental arches;

• Limestone window sills, with the principal windows featuring a bracket at each end - and four below the trio of arches of the side gables, with the remaining windows have simple lug sills;

• The non-structural decorative wood surrounds of the front/main component of the house, featuring prominent keystones and 'ears' or 'shoulders' at the upper corners or bases of the arches;

• Exposed yellow brick for the other windows and openings of the voussoirs and surrounds;

• The original casement opening windows of the main/front section of which many extend to the floor that provided access to shallow balconies or the original east veranda (i.e., French doors);

• The triple-groupings of round-headed arches under the side elevation gables of the front/main section, with the lower windows flanking a taller blind centre arch (located directly below the corresponding chimney);

• Exposed yellow brick of the chimney stacks which are decorated with shallow relief arches with limestone keystones, set over simple brick pilasters;

• The symmetrical side elevations under the gables of the front/main section of the house;

• The wide eaves of both the main roof and the cupola supported by decorated brackets, with dentils augmenting the decoration of the cupola eaves, which contrast with the simple timbers supporting the eaves of the service wing;

• The back service ell with its mostly flat-topped voussoirs openings save for the segmental arch of the near door on the south, and the paired, round-headed windows that provide the only illumination to east elevation;

• Remnant of a villa estate lot property.

Horsens Fjord, a southward view from the hill of Blakshøj

Horsens Fjord is an East Jutland-type fjord in the east coast of the Danish peninsula of Jutland which stretches from the islands of Alrø and Hjarnø in the east to the town of Horsens on the mainland. It is some 20 kilometres (12 mi) long.

The current City Hall for the city of St. Louis, having housed city government since 1898, is a landmark by appearance, reputation and city designation (since 1971). Efforts to build what would become the current City Hall (seen above) got underway in May 1888 when the City Hall Commission was formed. On April 4, 1889, an ordinance was passed to authorize the Commission to advertise for bids for the building. The original cost was not to exceed one million dollars. The commission chose the design of George Richard Mann, of the firm Eckel & Mann of St. Joseph, from the 37 national entries. His design was titled "St. Louis 1892", obviously expecting it to be completed by 1892. A French-style plan, inspired by the Hotel de Ville or City Hall of Paris, with ornamental dormer windows and former towers, it also recalled architectural elements of the Chateau de Chambord on the Loire River in France.

The construction of City Hall started July 19, 1890, with Mayor Edward Noonan's daughter Zoe, breaking ground. The cornerstone was laid on June 6, 1891. No bond issue was passed to finance construction of the new City Hall, explaining the 14 years required to finish the building. Funds came from general revenue and the sale of city property. Every year or two, the Council, would authorize an average of $110, 000 to continue construction. An ordinance was passed on Sept, 10, 1893 to limit the total cost at two million dollars. Though the building was not completed, it was finally occupied on April 11, 1898 when Mayor Henry Ziegenhein headed a ceremonial parade of city officials from the old building to their offices in the new City Hall. In 1904, the final portions of the building were completed, the Rotunda, the Tucker Boulevard vestibule and the grand staircase, using the design by the St. Louis architectural firm of Weber & Groves. The building was officially completed on Nov. 5, 1904 when Mayor Rolla Wells held an open house for the residents of St. Louis. The final cost of the building was $1,787,159.16. However, the exterior of City Hall was never quite finished. All sides of the building have ornamental dormers called belvederes, each having bare spaces of limestone. These were meant to have carved decorations, yet remained untouched probably due to lack of funds. Despite its incomplete state, City Hall was praised for its "splendid architectural composition," and called "an impressive period piece of craftsmanship". Unfortunately, a poorly executed acid cleaning and years of exposure to coal smoke has left the original pink and orange exterior tarnished.

Happy Throwvember... again I guess? Also inspired by MSEP's really cool Slizer revamps. Really wanted to use the torso from my Trinuma again, along with wanting to build something not so humanoid, hence the treads. Had a ton of fun with the colors on this one, felt like they really popped well. Plan was to give it a blank orange throwing disk, but figured I'll post it now before the month ends.

Designation: DSC-24L

Class: Deep Space Cargo Ship

Weight: a lot

Length: 2,400 ft

Height: 1,600 ft

Capacity: 780 intermodal containers (840 on short-range re-outfits)

Manufacturer: Titan Origins, Inc.

Launched: March 2179

Number Manufactured: 1600

The DSC-24L is a heavyweight, long-range, deep-space cargo freighter. It is designed to house both crew and cargo in comfortable spaces for journeys of up to 36 months. The name "Camel" is a casual moniker, so dubbed for its ability to go incredible distances without refueling and resupplying, thanks to the massive hull and even bigger fuel tanks. Cargo is stored in the bow, just below the pilot deck. The ring is Titan Origins' claim to fame: the company finally solved the years-long problem of atmospheric re-entry for deep-space freighters by building the ships around a huge stabilizing ring. This breakthrough helped drop re-entry burnups by 41% from 2179 to 2184. In an unheard-of but widely praised move, Titan Origins did not patent their design; instead, they shared it with competitors and the wider market. Thanks to the selflessness of Titan Origins, experts estimate about 170,000 crewmembers are saved from death by atmospheric re-entry burnup.

Brought this little fella to BrickUniverse Jax this past month and had blast. Hoping to bring it to BrickFanExpo in Jax later this year, though I will have to put it back together because it did not survive the trip back home. Aesthetics over strength has always been a weakness of mine, and it really shows in big projects.

This is biggest Lego project I've ever done solo. It's 110 studs long without the antenna. I initially started it in August 2024 with the hopes to have it done by the end of SHIPtember. LMAO. Hope y'all enjoy, and thanks for reading this far!

The ‘202’ designation was the most basic version of the Comet for this model year. There were also the mid-line ‘404’ and the premium ‘Caliente’ models of the Comet. Then there was the ‘Cyclone’ version that was offered with a sleek 2-door hardtop body and V-8 engine standard.

This one was modified for enhanced performance on the quarter mile.

"The patrol was largely uneventful, with little excitement save a herd of rouge livestock which almost trampled Tracker after he got too close. Compared to the Two-Fifty-Third's last two engagements Dantooine was proving to be a well needed break from the constant fighting the troopers of Vornskr had endured over the last month. Galaar led his men at an easy pace, taking advantage of the quite to both memorize the area surrounding the GAR basecamp as well as pass on several valuable lessons in hunting and tracking, which had be taught to him mere months ago by Vhonte Terhvo. Eventually the sun began to set and with nothing to report the squad began to head back to camp. Silently Galaar hoped that the spooks up in intel were wrong and that their entire stay on Dantooine would be just as quite as the patrol had been... "

Lincoln made significant design changes in 1935, both with their model designations and engineering of their well respected luxurious automobiles. These changes began with the elimination of the KA and KB chassis numbers determining the wheelbase. All cars would be considered K-Series and have model designations instead. Both 136-inch and 145-inch choices in wheelbase still existed, but now each chassis would be offered with your choice of body, so buyers no longer felt obligated to buy the longer wheelbase to have the most prestigious offerings from Lincoln.

Improvements for 1935 would include a better center of gravity by moving the passenger compartment forward a full 11-inches to distribute and balance weight more evenly on the axle centers. The engines were now installed with five rubber mounts along with an improved camshaft and needle bearing tappet rollers for more silent operation. They also offered a better, smoother suspension. An engine oil filter and free-wheeling were now standard equipment, and helical cut gears and new synchronizing allowed for better, easier shifts from the transmission. Although, the longer wheelbase proved more popular with sales totaling 820 vehicles, the more desirable today are the 136-inch special order models from the LeBaron and Brunn coachbuilding shops. Only 580 cars would find this well-balanced, shorter chassis in 1935.

The shear presence and design of this LeBaron Convertible Roadster is impressive. Its size, curves, color, design, and rarity really make it irresistible when viewing in person. The rake of the windshield and convertible top, the curvature of the crowned, skirted fenders, the overall shape of the rear deck hiding the rumbleseat, and the forward vee’d grille all comprise a sleek and stimulating Lincoln. All Lincoln owners in 1935 were honored with leather interior seating, Art Deco inspired two-gauge instrumentation clusters, locking glovebox, sidemounts with steel covers, rear luggage rack, 17-inch wire wheels and whitewall tires as standard equipment. The greyhound mascot on the radiator was now a fixed ornament as well. The L-head engine measures 414 cubic inches and produces 150 horsepower while paired to a three-speed manual transmission.

"We've taken them by surprise! Oya Vornskr! Oya! Let's go! Push into the trenches!"

Our push from the LZ had so far been a major success with Legion forces suffering minimal casualties snuffing out pockets of surprised Jabiimi rebels. The gunships had dropped us off under the cover of a massive hurricane, a storm which prevented us from landing our heavy weaponry, but masked both our deployment and rush on the Jabiimi lines. My squad, Vornskr had managed to catch a Jabiimi pillbox during a resupply cutting down several Jabiimi soldiers outside the fortifications as well as destroying the bunkers guns before they could fire on us. Using the captured bunker as a staging point I lead Vornskr into the trenches, engaging the Jabiimi in brutal melee combat as we cleared out the fortifications. The muddy trenches took their toll on my men slowing us down and claiming several casualties, but by nightfall our sector had been cleared. Hopefully tomorrow the storm will clear and our artillery can land, it would be much easier if we could just blast the Jabiimi positions from afar rather than clear them with blaster and blade..."

The fighting along the temple wall was brutal, but Vornskr held the line, repelling wave after wave of droid infantry until an armored division attached to the 501st led by an young Jedi mounted a counterattack and shattered the droid offensive. Once relived Lieutenant Galaar and his men were summoned the GAR command center by General Kenobi, the lead Jedi General and commander of all operations on Rhen Var. Along with several other ARC troopers from the Two-Fifty-Third, Galaar was briefed of a developing situation within the data archives of Bravo Base. While the troopers had been busy repelling the droid attack an unknown assailant had slipped into the base and accessed the data core. This infiltrator is believed to be a Dark Jedi, a traitor who had followed in the foot steps of Count Dooku. The Dark Jedi had already been engaged by both troopers stationed at Bravo Base and ARC troopers from the Two-Fifty-Third, both were reporting heavy casualties and failure to stop the intruder. The task of intercepting the Dark Jedi and recovering the stolen data now fell on the ten ARC troopers gathered in the command center who General Kenobi would personally lead.

Upon dismissal the ARCs made their way back to their squads, who they hastily briefed before boarding the gunships, doing their best to pass on the most critical parts of the anti-Jedi training they received on Kamino, to the regs under their command.

The flight to Bravo Base was short and the gunships got them as close to the Dark Jedi's last know location as possible, dropping the strike team off in a courtyard within an ancient Jedi temple. Galaar had been tasked with clearing the Northeastern most region of the Temple and lead his men at a slow pace, constantly checking his scopes for any sign of the rouge force user.

The signs of battle were everywhere, burn marks and deep gouges covered the walls, and all around lay the broken corpses of fallen brothers. With a sigh Galaar signaled his to keep moving, there was no way they would be able to stop this "Dark Jedi", Galaar wasn't even sure he had enough training to take one on alone and he knew for sure the regs wouldn't stand a chance. The squad ventured deeper into the temple, leaving the carnage behind as they entered another interior courtyard. Stepping the doorway Galaar's scopes suddenly lit up bright red notifying him of hostile forces along the opposite wall, a squad of B1s and a figure dressed in black robes. Cursing Galaar turned and shouted orders to the troopers behind him.

"Romeo get on the long range comms and notify General Kenobi that we've found the Dark Jedi, relay our coordinates and let the General know that we have been engaged!"

"On it Sir!"

"CT-44-5913! CT-45-2601! Get the Plex and Z6 up here now! We need to block him in, target the opposite entrance and bring it down! Tracker! Take your team and flank left! CT-05-4329 take yours and flank right! We need to overwhelm him, once you start shooting don't let up! Alright Vornskr, let's kill this chakaar!"

Vornskr sprung into action, executing Galaar's orders quickly and with precision, for a moment it looked hopeful, the droids were cut down instantly, and the Dark Jedi appeared to struggle to deflect the overwhelming base of fire. It was when CT-44-5913 fired a rocket at the opposing doorway from his PLX-1 that the plan fell apart. The rocket stopped midflight as if some thing had grabbed it and Galaar watched in horror as it changed direction and slammed into Tracker's team, obliterating the three troopers. Then an invisible force slammed into Galaar knocking him from his feet as the Dark Jedi used the force to send both clone and droid alike hurtling across the courtyard.

Grunting, Galaar dragged himself to his feet, his head was ringing and he could taste blood in his mouth, something was broken. Looking Galaar saw the cloaked figure disappear back into the temple. Galaar knew this was it, he couldn't let him get away, grabbing his blasters Galaar stumbled forward, blasting two droids as they moved to block his path.

Activating his comms, Galaar notified command of his situation...

"This is Lieutenant Galaar, my squad is down, I am in pursuit of the rouge Jedi"

... and with that he disappeared into the temple.

“THE WET” AND “THE DRY” IN THE NORTHERN AUSTRALIAN TROPICS

The Northern Tropics of Australia in the Darwin region are described as having only 2 seasons – the “wet season” (or simply “The Wet”) (broadly November to April) and the “dry season” (or simply “The Dry”) (May to October). There is no local designation of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, although it should be noted that some ancient local indigenous calendars describe up to 8 seasons, categorised by not only weather but also flowering and fruiting of edible plants, appearance of migratory animals as food sources, river heights, etc.

While Europeans settled Darwin in the 1860s, indigenous Australians have occupied the area for at between 40,000 and 60,000 years.

In broad terms, the main differences between the Wet and the Dry relate to humidity levels, prevailing wind direction, and (as the names imply) rain, or the absence of rain.

Darwin has no frost, no snow and no hail.

Darwin is also largely flat and unelevated, with few locations exceeding 30 metres above sea level.

Darwin is located 12 degrees south of the equator, in the middle of the cyclone belt.

THE WET – NOVEMBER TO APRIL

During the Wet, temperatures range from a minimum of 27 – 28C overnight (sometimes not dropping below 30C) and 34 – 36C during the day. Humidity levels are in the range of 75 – 95%.

The prevailing monsoon wind direction is from the North West (i.e. from the Timor Sea), except during the frequent storms, which normally come from the South East.

Cyclones (the local name for a typhoon or hurricane) also form during the Wet as part of monsoon trough activity. The wind from a cyclone can come from any direction, depending on the relationship between the cyclone’s eye and the observer’s position.

Rainfall during the Wet approaches 2,000 mm; with the record for a 6 month Wet season period being 3,000 mm.

Sea temperature during the Wet is around 32C.

Towards the end of the wet season there are almost daily storms with strong winds from the south-east, generally late in the late afternoon. These storms are called “knock-em-downs” as they flatten the 2 metre tall native spear grass which covers all uncleared areas. The spear grass will eventually die off and a large proportion of it will burn in dry season grass fires. The spear grass seeds are a staple diet of many finches and parrots. The spear grass re-germinates when the first storms arrive in October or November.

THE DRY – MAY TO OCTOBER

During the Dry, temperatures range from a typical minimum of 20 - 21C overnight (on rare occasions dropping to 16C) and 30 -31C during the day. Humidity levels are in the range of 10 - 30%.

The prevailing wind direction is from the South East (i.e. from the direction of the Great Australian Desert); with an occasional light North West sea breeze rising in the late afternoon.

There is virtually no rain between April and October.

Because of the absence of rain, a high bushfire danger exists throughout the area during the Dry, with the highest risk occurring in August and September, before the next Wet season storms occur. During these months, the humidity is very low and the South East winds are at their strongest – up to 30 knots (around 55 km/hr).

Bushfire smoke blows out to sea and causes spectacular sunset effects.

"The attack on Shelter Base had been repelled, but at a heavy cost, our forces lost the bulk of our armor to the Nimbus Commandos and the Jedi General in charge of the entire campaign was confirmed to be dead along with an Alpha-Class ARC trooper. Legion casualties were high as well, my squad was down to quarter strength and comms chatter across the regiment reflected similar losses. Shelter Base wasn't a victory to celebrate, our forces had been crippled and if it weren't for a short break in the atmospheric storm the battle may have ended there. Reinforcements had finally arrived, gunships set down amidst the carnage and began to offload fresh troops, much needed supplies and even a few Jedi. The replacements were a welcome sight, but we had our doubts, there was a distinct lack of heavy armor and weapons, just troopers. It was as if command had decided that the best way to conquer Jabiim was to throw bodies at the rebels until they drowned in a sea of white plastoid. It wasn't long before command had us resume operations, conducting patrols towards the Razor Coast, the alleged Separatist staging ground. The patrols were tedious, trudging through the mud, hunting snipers, defusing mines and destroying Jabiimi hold outs. A Jedi even accompanied us on a few, his presence seemed to ease the boys nerves, he led from the front using the force the detect danger, acting as a sort of early warning system, alerting us to hidden snipers before they could fire and hidden traps moments before they were sprung. He saved my squad multiple times that day and earned my respect. With his help we were even able to raid a Jabiimi outpost nestled amidst some ruins, we took the majority of the Jabiimi rebels alive and through a mix of Jedi mind tricks and Mandalorian teachings we extracted the whereabouts of Alto Stratus. He was at the Razor Coast licking his wounds after his failed raid on Shelter Base. His death would mean the capitulation of Jabiimi Separatist movement, the only problem would be getting through the thousands of battle droids amassed there. A feat which the Jedi deemed nearly impossible, but we're the 253rd, overcoming impossible odds is our specialty..."

While there is a 4.4 out on the 253rd's discord, I'm afraid this will likely be my last build for some time. Also it took me like 4 hours to get a photo I liked. I blame the winter, it's making my lighting is just funky.

F60 is the series designation of five overburden conveyor bridges used in brown coal (lignite) opencast mining in the Lusatian coalfields in Germany. They were built by the former Volkseigener Betrieb TAKRAF in Lauchhammer and are the largest movable technical industrial machines in the world. As overburden conveyor bridges, they transport the overburden which lies over the coal seam. The cutting height is 60 m, hence the name F60. With a length of 502 m, it is described as the lying Eiffel tower. In total, the F60 is up to 80 m high and 240 m wide. In operating condition, it weighs 13,600 metric tons. The first conveyor bridge was built from 1969 to 1972, being equipped with a feeder bridge in 1977. The second was built from 1972 to 1974, having been equipped with a feeder bridge during construction. The third conveyor bridge was built from 1976 to 1978, being provided with a feeder bridge in 1985. The fourth and fifth conveyor bridges were built 1986-1988 and 1988-1991 respectively.

There are still four F60s in operation in the Lusatian coalfields today: in the brown coal opencast mines in Jänschwalde (Brandenburg, near Jänschwalde Power Station), Welzow-Süd (Brandenburg, near Schwarze Pumpe Power Station), Nochten and Reichwalde (Saxony, both near Boxberg Power Station). The fifth F60, the last one built, is in Lichterfeld-Schacksdorf and is accessible to visitors.

This species and another diurnal flowering species were just separated from the genus Chlorogalum, which continues to have three vespertine-flowering species. (Other morphological and cytological evidence supported this change.) Though I am not always a fan of new names, in this case I am. The new genus honors Dr. Robert F. Hoover, a big name in 20th century California botany, who named numerous new plant species and was the author of Vascular Plants of San Luis Obispo County, California. He saw this change coming nearly 80 years earlier. In his monograph of the genus Chlorogalum (1940), Hoover wrote after noting some differences among the species, that, “one is led to suspect that the genus as accepted is composed of two separate lines of descent.” This new designation was published by Dean W. Taylor and David J. Keil, October, 2018.

“Alright lads, let’s make this quick.”

The Admiral had given us the order to blow the place to the depths of hell, but a Jedi came on comms practically begging us not to do it. Now, I’m no fan of the Jedi, but I’m no fan of the Admiral either, the bastard.

“Every other one should do the trick.”

“Copy that, Dio. Nestor, how we doing?”

Silence.

“Nestor, copy?”

“Ajax, you’re gonna want to see this.”

I entered the room Nestor called me to, with Dio a few steps behind me. A strange blue glow radiated from the room, accompanied by a low hum.

I stopped dead in my tracks.

“No, that’s… impossible!”

Nestor tucked his gun under his arm.

“Evidentially not, sir. It’s him.”

I approached the terminal, looking at the helmet attached to the computer. I looked up at the suspended figure. Dio knelt next to the terminal, popping it open with his knife. He hotwired some wires to his datapad, running the files.

“Dio?”

“He must’ve survived his fall on Mustafar. It says here… yeah, just after the escape, the recovered him from the riverbank. Bloody hell, Ajax! The amount of stuff they’ve been doing to him! They’ve been running tests on him to see how we operate in combat, what we learned back on Kamino, the whole lot of it! They’ve even gotten into his helmet, looking for data logs, anything they could get their hands on!”

“How long?”

“Months, sir.”

My grip tightened around my hammer. No. We need to see exactly what they did to him. It’s the only way they’ll be able to help him. They’ll have to. He saved my life. Now, I have to save his.

“Copy all the data, and get him out of here. Nestor and I will cover you. We don’t have much time!”

I swear, if I see any more Separatists before I get off this kriffing rock, I’ll beat them to a bloody pulp for what they did to Preacher.

Being stationed at Malastare is as exactly as boring as it gets. Nothing happened since the start of the clone wars where the CIS attacked Malastare, and our electro-proton bomb's detonation awoke the last Zillo beast.

Our command is to keep Malastare free from any CIS activity and ensure the Galactic Republics' fuel reserves. Our daily business here on Malastare is passing the time in the outpost and checking all the scanners for any activity.

Today around 3 p.m. GST (Galactic Standard Time), our scanners finally picked up a signal on the southern hemisphere in pristine nature. This was very unusual! Usually, our scanners picked up some signals from old battle droid scraps in the mining sector.

Finally, some action! I thought. Our squad geared up and was assigned to a reconnaissance mission lead by Jedi Knight Vrar D'resk, a Devaronian, and his Padawan Rel Gon.

After scouting for hours, we finally reached the position where our scanners picked up the signal. Suddenly I got a message on my Holo-pad by Chancellor Palpatine himself!

Captain Jastaar, the time has come, execute Oder 66!

Everything changed within a second. our boring reconnaissance mission transforms into a battle as we have not seen since we left the 253rd Elite Legion. But this time, everything was different. The Jedi have betrayed the Galactic Republic and need to be executed for their war crimes!!!

Fire!!!

Vrar D'resk and Rel Gon could barely draw their lightsabers, and it was already over...

AUTHORIZATION... CC-1807... BEGINNING PLAYBACK OF LOG-ENTRY 136... CORELLIA... BEGIN PLAYBACK...\\\

"After the incident on Vandos Prime the Jedi Council transferred the 253rd Legion from combat operations in the Outer Rim to the orbit of Coruscant, it was a punishment and we all knew it...

The Jedi didn't trust us and as a result, they wanted to keep us on a short leash. We had made it clear that unlike our brothers in the regular army we weren't as easily controlled, we were independent, capable and deadly. The Vandos Prime Incident had shown this when the Legion split, seeing some of us attempt to kill General Jardu and destroy the planet simply because we enjoyed watching the Seppies burn... and this scared them. The Jedi showed their mistrust in us by integrating members of their order into our ranks. My new command, the famed Vornskr Brigade was placed under a Jedi Ranger by the name of Zsiva. While the Rangers themselves are a more militant order of the Jedi, I expect the Legions lethality and effectiveness will suffer greatly under Jedi Command. The Jedi principles simply don't align with has to be done to win a war, they're too focused on balance and compassion to be able to do what it takes...

Before the Vandos Prime Incident, when I had been promoted to the rank of commander, I took charge of best of the best within the Legion, the Vornskr Brigade...

A unit comprised of ARC troopers known not only for their individual skill and lethality in battle, but their savagery and agility to work as a cohesive unit... or pack. The brigade did well on Vandos Prime, executing their objectives with efficiency and minimal casualties and in the end had supported my mutiny against Admiral Syphen without question. The whole ordeal saw several of the Brigade's members distinguished through the addition of the unit's signature dark green markings upon their armor. I'm honored to serve as their leader and hope further prove myself capable of leading such men in this fiasco on Corellia.

The mission as a whole seems to be a vast waste of GAR recourses, protests like this would normally be handled by the local authorities or other non-military assets. The brigade has been tasked with clearing the complex sewer systems underneath the main GAR facility on Corellia in an attempt to root out potentially Separatist backed insurgents, again something the local garrison of the Coruscant Guard could easily handle. Despite this, our little trip to Corellia won't be a total waste of time, it'll be the perfect opportunity to see how much our new babysitter will hold us back..."

And there they are the Vornskr Brigade! These guys have been in the making for quite some time now and are still nowhere near finished, I still have quite a bit of sticker work left to do on the core group, as well as adding kamas and other cloth accessories to a couple of the troopers. Hopefully, by the time Mission 18 comes around, I'll have these guys complete and ready to roll!

" The sun had already begun to set by the time my squad made it to our assigned village eight klicks south of camp. It was nothing more than a small cluster of farms circled around a rundown cantina. Our assigned quarters was located at the eastmost farm, which overlooked potential route Separatist forces might take if they were to move on the capitol of Garang. The farmer, a middle aged Togruta male, met us a hundred meters from his farm along a dusty path flanked by unending fields of various crops. He was less than happy to be our host, but would tolerate our presence on the conditions that we stay away from both the fields and his children and if needed we help him fend off any Kath Hounds on his property. His terms were acceptable, after all the boys could use some target practice. We bunked down in the barn to the rear of the farmhouse and began prepare for the next day, weapons, equipment and armor were both cleaned and tested, rations were distributed and water was refilled at the pump outside before the men were finally ready to bed down. Despite Jester giving the all clear and insisting that no watch was needed I remained awake, leaning against the barn door deep in thought. My mind wondered back to Geonosis and Rhen Var, analyzing my decisions and how they had affected my squad, remembering the brothers I had lost. I was shaken from my thoughts by a started cry, it sounded like one of the farmers children. Stepping out of the doorway I made my way towards the fields, passing the farmhouse and crossing the small fence which separated the house from the fields. I could see the girl on my scopes running through the field towards the house, something had spooked her, maybe it was one of those Kath Hounds. Drawing one of my Dc-17 blaster pistols I moved to intercept her, she stopped when she saw me and grabbed my arm, using her other hand to point behind her. She was speaking very quietly and rapidly going on about skeletons in the field, it very well could have been nothing more than a shadow that had spooked the kid, but I decided to give the field another quick scan just to be sure. Cycling through my visor's modes I saw nothing until I switched on the EMF detector and suddenly my display was lit up with countless readings, those weren't skeletons the girl had seen out in the field, in fact I knew very well what had spooked the girl... battle droids and lots of them. Cursing I holstered my pistol and picked up the child and ran back to the farmhouse, I was greeted by the farmer and he wasn't very happy. Before I could tell him to keep his voice down a crimson blaster bolt flew over my head and hit him square in the chest, he dropped to the ground, likely dead, looks like the droids were closer than I thought. before I could make it around the house another blast hit me square in the back causing me to drop the kid... they were much closer than I thought. I yelled at the kid to run and she didn't need to hear it twice, scampering to her feet and disappearing into the barn, hopefully she would wake the rest of the squad. Pushing myself to my feet I drew both Dc-17s and turned to face the approaching droid hoard, it was going to be a long night."

"Lieutenant Cov is one of Vornskr Company's three platoon leaders and is a renowned Protector Class ARC trooper within the 253rd. He's know for his actions during the first battle of Geonosis where he disobeyed a direct order from a Jedi General and lead his squad on a rescue mission to reinforce a trapped squad of Republic Commandos in the Geonosian catacombs. After the battle the newly formed GAR command wanted him court marshaled, but instead Cov found himself transferred to the newly formed Vornskr Company an elite shock unit with in the 253rd Legion. Being one of the Companies oldest members, Lieutenant Cov routinely finds himself advising the Company's current commander, Protector 187 on the Company's operational capabilities. Cov like the rest of ARC brethren is highly skilled and individualistic, but displays an unwavering loyalty to his clone brothers similar to that of an RC squad."

Excerpt from tourismburlington.com:

Joseph Colling, the first farmer in the Lowville area, donated his land to the church in 1846. Prior to the construction of the church, services were held in a school on the north-east corner of Britannia Road and Guelph Line, and in a frame building on the present site, which was later replaced with the current brick structure. At that time it was named the Colling Church, and in 1855, it became the Lowville Wesleyan Methodist Church. It became one of 25 churches in the Nelson circuit. The present church was built in 1872 from orange bricks from the Bronte area.

"Shelter Base was hit hard, it was a devastating blow which command never saw coming and in one decisive strike the Jabiimi Separatist permanently put us on the defensive. While we were occupied bringing the fight to the Jabiimi regulars Alto Stratus personally lead a strike against our rear lines. Aided by both his elite Nimbus Commandos and a secret droid army Stratus devastated Shelter Base and the bulk of the Republic and Loyalist forces there. Reports even have General Kenobi and Alpha-17 listed among the dead. We had just finished clearing a series of Jabiimi bunkers when we got the call from Muck to return to Shelter Base, it was a slow trek back with constant harassment from both battle droids and the Nimbus Commandos who used their grav boots to engage us in hit and run style ambushes, slowly whittling away our numbers. We hit back just hard aiming for the commandos boots, rupturing their generators and engulfing them in flames. By the time we reached Shelter Base my squad was down to half strength, but there was no time to mourn. The survivors of the attack were pinned down between a destroyed ATAT and the smoldering ruins of Shelter Base's main hub by several platoons of battle droids and Jabiimi nationalists. We linked up with Muck and the rest of the 253rd who had managed to return from the frontlines and charged into the fray..."

Galaar could hear blaster fire from the corridor up ahead, DC-15s, Troopers, and something else, something bigger. Reaching into his belt the injured ARC trooper retrieved a experimental combat stim and injected it through a gap in his armor. Within seconds the mix of adrenaline and Mandalorian war stimulants relieved him of the pain from his broken ribs and other injuries sustained during his initial run in with the Dark Jedi. With his injuries temporarily taken care of Galaar stumbled forward rounding the corner only to find that the fighting had moved on. In it's wake lay several dead troopers, their armor blackened and smoldering from blaster impacts. A little ways past the troopers sat an ancient automaton, the troopers had managed to disable it, but at a high price. Taking a knee next to the destroyed droid Galaar began to examine the automaton, taking note of it's heavy armor and massive arm mounted laser cannon. The droid appeared to be an ancient security droid, likely employed by the temple's inhabitant to keep out unwanted guests. It looked like the troopers had brought it down with several hits from a PLX Launcher, turning and scanning the bodies of the fallen troopers Galaar spotted the missile launcher laying a couple feet away from the squads sergeant. Standing up Galaar moved over to the Sergeant and picked up PLX, it had four missiles left in the tube and no spare ammo, that meant that the squad must have used the other three missiles to destroy the security droid. Making a quick mental note of the droids potential durability, Galaar stood and said a quick Mandoa farewell, activated their beacon and headed past the destroyed droid and deeper into the temple. Utilizing the tracking skills taught to him by Vhonte Tervho back on Kamino, Galaar located the trail of another security droid and began to follow it, hopping it would lead him to either more troopers or the Dark Jedi. The droid's path lead Galaar into an ancient crypt, and it was here that the droids appeared to have originated their restraining bolts laying discarded on the ground and their charging stations sat empty. Venturing deeper into the crypt Galaar's scopes picked friendly forces two junctions ahead, they were engaging the droid Galaar had been tracking. Readying the launcher Galaar began to run, rounding the corner just as two troopers were cut down. Cursing Galaar switched to open comms.

"Friendly on your right! On my mark hit the deck!"

"Copy that"

Another trooper went down, his torso disappearing in a bright green flash.

"NOW!"

Swinging around the corner Galaar fired two missiles over the head of the last trooper, the rounds smashed into the droid, tearing it's gun arm and left leg from it's body. The droid fell to the ground disabled. The trooper stood and turned to face Galaar.

"Nice shot sir, good timing too, he almost had me"

"If only I was faster, could have saved your vode. These droids are tough, hopefully that was the last of them."

"Negative Sir. The Dark Jedi activated a small army of them after fled into the crypt. We might need a Jedi for this one."

"I agree. I'm in no condition to fight him on my own, we'll make our way back to the surface and link up with General Kenobi."

"Copy that."

“Amongst the sizzling bolts of turbolaser fire, and the nearby droid scraps exploding upon their touch, we made our way up only to be met with little resistance. Easily distracted guards allowed one man to plant explosives, blowing up the platforms’ structure to destabilize them. They crumpled beneath the might of the newly formed Empire.” - CT-2864

Hey y'all, I'm back once more to show you my most recent (or should I say 4 month old build) for @darktimesgroup 's Mygeeto target. Really happy with how the rocks and platforms (those angles ;P) turned out, just hadn't gone around to posting it. This was also my May 4th post on here and I hope y'all had a great day. Anyways, can't wait to share close ups of this build on here r as well as show you what I've been working on recently! It's a banger! Cya!

Dungeness is a headland on the coast of Kent, England, formed largely of a shingle beach in the form of a cuspate foreland. It shelters a large area of low-lying land, Romney Marsh. Dungeness is also the name of the power station and a few other nearby buildings near the beach, and of an important ecological site at the same location.

Dungeness is one of the largest expanses of shingle in the world. It is of international conservation importance for its geomorphology, plant and invertebrate communities and birdlife. This is recognised and protected mostly through its conservation designations as a National Nature Reserve (NNR), a Special Protection Area (SPA), a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and part of the Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) of Dungeness, Romney Marsh and Rye Bay.

There is a remarkable variety of wildlife living at Dungeness, with over 600 different types of plant: a third of all those found in Britain. It is one of the best places in Britain to find insects such as moths, bees and beetles, and spiders; many of these are very rare, some found nowhere else in Britain.

The short-haired bumblebee, Bombus subterraneus, was last found in the UK in 1988, but has survived in New Zealand after being shipped there more than 100 years ago. It is to be reintroduced at Dungeness. It is planned that the first bees will be introduced in the spring of 2010.

The flooded gravel pits on Denge Beach, both brackish and fresh water, provide an important refuge for many migratory and coastal bird species. The RSPB has a bird sanctuary there and every year thousands of bird watchers descend on the peninsula to catch a glimpse of a rare bird from the bird observatory.

One of the most remarkable features of the site is an area known as 'the patch' or, by anglers, as 'the boil'. The waste hot water and sewage from the Dungeness nuclear power stations are pumped into the sea through two outfall pipes, enriching the biological productivity of the sea bed and attracting seabirds from miles around.

Beach fishing is popular at Dungeness, with the area being a nationally recognised cod fishing venue in the winter.

The name Dungeness derives from Old Norse nes: "headland", with the first part probably connected with the nearby Denge Marsh. Popular etymology ascribes a French origin to the toponym, giving an interpretation as "dangerous nose".

The Laati's doors flew open as the gunship descended onto the landing platform bellow, the ships characteristic thrumming drowning out the distant sound battle. Galaar checked the seals on his experimental cold assault armor before peering out of the troop bay at the carnage below. The outpost was in complete chaos with clones still clad in their standard phase one armor directing shell shocked civilians towards the incoming dropships, all while dodging incoming artillery fire. The outpost here had originally been used for artifact research and excavation, it was never meant to be permanent and there for it offered very little protection against the Separatist onslaught, everywhere Galaar looked he saw charred bodies amidst the burning tents and excavation equipment, this was no Geonosis, the Seps knew about the Grand Army now, and hadn't taken any chances. As the Laati touched down Galaar leapt from the troop bay, stepping over tightly packed stretchers and approached the 501st Sergeant overseeing the landing pad.

"Sergeant! ARC Lieutenant Galaar, Two-Fifty-Third reporting, how can I help?"

"ARC troopers? Boy am I glad to see you, we've got droid platoons amassing just outside the temple, my boys gave it their all, but we took quite the beating. Can you get down there and give them a hand?"

"Consider it done, Sergeant. We'll hold the line, get your men out of here."

"Sir? With all due respect there's an entire army out there."

"I'm sure there can't be more than there were on Geonosis Sergeant, pull your boys back, we'll be fine."

"Yes Sir. Thank you sir, drinks are on the Five-O-First next time we're back on Kamino!"

"You heard the Sergeant Vornskr! Oya! Oya! Let's show these Seppies why they should have just surrendered after Geonosis!"

With a cheer the small group of clone scouts designated as "Vornskr" by their Mandalorian instructor took off from the landing platform, running against the stream of battered clones and frightened civilians leaving Bravo Base. The Troopers ran in a wedge with Galaar at it's front, his dual DC-17 pistols drawn and at the ready. Reaching the edge of the Base along the eastern wall of an ancient Jedi temple, Vornskr came face to face with what appeared to several companies of B1 Battle Droids with DSD1 and AATs providing heavy support. Positioning themselves amidst the ruins the Troopers began to prepare themselves for battle, unslinging rocket launchers and other heavy weapons, before hastily digging in. Galaar turned and addressed his men, leading them in an ancient Mandalorian battle chant, which had been passed on to them by Fenn Bralor.

"Oya'cye

Kyr'am

Mare'cye

Darasuum

Oya! Oya!"

And with those words Vornskr was ready, each trooper knew that they alone were all that stood between their brothers, the evacuation and the droid horde. Leveling his blaster pistols Galaar gave the command and Vornskr opened fire...

Mission 1.1, to think that the original Mission 1.1 for the 253rd was almost seven years ago, that's just crazy. It's been one hell of a journey, and I hope for it to continue. I've only got a couple more weeks left of this semester, so hopefully by May I'll have the other two parts of Mission 1 posted as well as a couple other projects. Anyway, if you guys are interested in joining the 253rd just leave a comment bellow and either myself or one of our mods will give you the run down. Until then, thanks for stopping by and have a good one!

Remember to stop by again later to check out the story!

"Scanners are showing the data center is just up ahead boss, looks like we've got two angles of approach, stairs going up to what looks like a catwalk and set of blast doors directly ahead."

"Roger that Lucky, stay here with first platoon and cover our backs, don't want any lizards slinking away from the fight up top and catching us off guard."

"Roger that, you heard the Co First! Take up positions along the walls and dig in! Trapper take Wedge and Bes'laar back to our entry point and set motion sensors at each junction."

"Copy!"

"I'll Take Cov, Rook and Jester up onto the catwalk for a quick recon. General do you mind leading the assault through the blast door?"

"It'll be my pleasure Galaar. Corporal may I barrow your sidearm, I have a feeling I might need it."

"Sure thing General, just don't loose it in the melee."

(With that the Company splits into three groups, one digging in behind loose panels, exposed pipping and the hunting trophies that litter the corridor. The second climbing the ladder leading to a small access hatch, which opens with a soft hum allowing the troopers access to the catwalks above the Trandoshan data center. The third group readies it's self for coming battle, stowing their long rifles in exchange for pistols, carbines and blades. They then for a wedge behind their General who ignites his light saber illuminating the dark corridor in violet light.)

*Zsiva's com-link chirps*

" General I count at least six wets inside, five slavers and one captive. There appears to be some sort of Seppie hardware in the back of the room, it's hard to make out. Cov thinks it might be some sort of droid dispenser. We'll keep an eye on it. Hold on we've got movement up here..."

(A shout can be heard followed by a thud and several other voices shouting)

"Stang we're made! You're good to breach General!"

(The blast doors fly open as Zsiva rushes through, followed by several of Vornskr's elite shock troops. The Jedi is immediately engaged by a lizard wielding a large knife who manages to block the Jedi's lightsaber only to be shot dead. As more troopers poor into the room the five slavers are quickly overwhelmed and dispatched.)

"All clear General!"

"Wait I sense something, this isn't over..."

(The large container in the back of the room begins to whine a click, the pelts which covered it fall away as a door opens up and B2 Super battle droids begin to poor out)

"Contact front! B2s find cover!"

(Clones dive for cover as the assembling hoard of super battle droids begin to open fire. Zsiva barely manages to bring his light saber up in time to deflect the first volley. As the Jedi Ranger expertly bats away red bolts of plasma, fire begins to rain down from the cat walk dropping several of the B2s, but it's not enough.)

"Lucky get Atin in here with that z6 asap! We're taking heavy fire from a B2 dispenser!"

"We're on it. Let the boys know to hit the deck, we're going to start shooting as soon as we hit the door way!"

(Two heavily armored Clone Troopers enter the data center, the first firing a z6 rotary cannon in a wide arc hosing the ranks of B2s with searing blue energy. As the droids begin to stager and go down, the second trooper lobs a grenade and ducks behind the first. The blast causes the whole room to shudder and trophies to fall from the walls. Atin continues to fire into the burning husk of the droid dispenser as the smoke clear, until the machine is engulfed in a second fireball.)

"All clear Sir."

"Pretty sure the first explosion did the job Ner'vod"

"Can never be to careful..."

(Galaar drops down form the catwalk and surveys the smoldering room)

"Everyone all right?"

"Yes Sir, no casualties. The General managed to block the bulk of the droids fire."

"Good to hear, you good General?"

"I'll live Galaar, for machines built for war those droids have horrible aim."

"Heh, if only we all had your luck Sir. Now let's see if we can savage any intel from this scrap heap..."

----------------------------------------

Might replace the photo ngl, lighting (I know everyone will say it's fine) is a little whack and fuzzy.

Anyway, this build was a lot of fun to work on especially the floor and holo table. was definitely refreshing to stick with a border this time, that being said my usual free-form border is definitely my go to. I'll be headed back to college in two weeks so this may be my last post for a while, but with any luck I'll be able to wrap up this mission before I go.

As always any feedback is appreciated, thanks for stopping by and have a good one!

"General Tiin, the ship is lost."

"It's time to get a new one..."

"Yes Sir!"

"Bright green streaks of plasma flew past me as I lazily drifted towards the hull of a Separatist Munificent-class Frigate. I checked the status of my squad in my HUD as the hull of the frigate grew beneath me. Two if my men had already landed engaging a vulture droid that appeared to be attempting defend the ship's turbo lasers, my squads primary target. As I neared the hull I activated the magnetics in my boots causing me to quickly cover the last few meters and slam into the hull. I lurched as my boots stuck to durasteel halting my momentum, righting myself, I assessed my surroundings, I was on target, right bellow the line of dual turbo lasers which were peppering the Absolver above. Dodging explosions from the Absolver's return fire I lead my squad along the frigates hull until we were above the turbo laser control room. Using a special charge we breached the hull, staying outside until the room had both finished venting it's droid crew and pressurizing. Now we just had to wait for the engineers to link up and seal the room, until then our mission was complete. Now it was time to sit back and hope that the rest of the Legion was having the same luck."

-------------------------------------------

I finally got around to building something, it's nothing crazy, but Brady put a lot of work into writing mission 15 for the 253rd so I had to put something together. Over the last 4 months of working abroad and not having time to build I've come to realize that building is a bit of a perishable skill, I'm pretty sure I've forgotten how to terrain, which isn't great, but I'm determined to make something presentable with the new green and dk tan bricks I recently picked up so we'll see.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by and Happy Easter to those who celebrate it!

A Color/2010 clone post inspired shot for my slightly updated sig. I'm hopping to get a build up soon, but between long work days and busy weekends I've been pretty burnt out and never get around to picking up the bricks. Anyway let me know what you think, might do more figure shots like this just to break up the vigs on black backdrops, we'll see.

"My squad was onboard the Devastator recovering from the recently successful day-long siege on the Vandosian research facility when my commlink chirped alerting me to incoming orders. Typing in the activation code into the device on my wrist, I motioned for my men to gather around. The commlink chirped once more and then a glowing blue image of the Admiral appeared in front of me.

"Good evening Sir, Vornskr Brigade is awaiting your orders."

"Very good Commander, I have a critical task for you and your men. While you were planetside a damaged Delta-7 Interceptor landed in our starboard hangar, it was piloted by a Jedi named Avec Jardu. So far he hasn't left the hangar and has been occupied making repairs to his ship, it is imperative that you take your men there immediately and eliminate him."

"Sir?"

"Are you questioning my orders trooper? Do I need to remind you of the nature of our mission? Under no circumstances can the Jedi and their pesky council learn of this operation! Is that understood Commander?"

"Yes Sir..."

"Good, now get down there and kill him!"

The hologram fizzled away and I turned to my men, instructing them to get their buckets and blasters, we had a Jedi to kill. We made our way to the hangar at a double-time shoving our way past both crew and other troopers, as we ran my second in command Lucky hailed me on my helmet com.

"We can't seriously be doing this, going up against a Jedi General? It's insane!"

"We've faced worse."

"I know, but the Jedi are our allies, they've fought and died by our side. Unlike this Admiral, I'm willing to wager the first round of drinks back on Coruscant that he's never seen ground combat before. He's done nothing but send our brothers to their deaths with his botched strategy.

Besides, I did not just survive a day of trench warfare only to get decapitated with a laser sword!"

"Don't worry Lucky, that laser sword won't be coming anywhere close to your head."

Before Lucky could respond the blast doors in front of us slid open revealing the starboard hangar. The hangar was unusually empty minus a few droids and the blue Delta-7 which sat nestled amongst supplies in the corner of the bay. Motioning for my men to spread out, we spilled into the hangar blasters drawn. About a hundred meters I gave the order halt and men took up positions amidst the crates and various spacecraft still in the hangar. I then drew my DC-17s and began to approach the starfighter with a trooper named Rook who covered me with his Z6 Rotary blaster. The Jedi was ready for standing on the edge of his starfighter near the open cockpit, stopping just outside of lightsaber range I called out to him.

"Welcome aboard the Devastator General, I'm going to have to ask you to come with me."

"What is this trooper..?"

"This is a mutiny General, you've been locked inside this hangar because you've stumbled across an unsanctioned attack on a Separatist held planet. The Admiral of this fleet has been recklessly endangering the lives of my brothers on what appears to be a personal vendetta and I was hoping that with your help General we could put an end to this mess."

"It would be my pleasure trooper."

I began to sheath my blaster pistols when the Admiral's voice came over the ship's intercom,

“This is Admiral Syphen. Squads 4-6, report to Hangar 13b. Kill the Jedi! This is not a drill. Kill the Jedi! Insubordination will not be tolerated. Use any means necessary.”

Turning I addressed my men

,

"Well boys, it looks like we'll have to teach our brothers some common sense, blasters to stun, we're going to escort General Jardu to the bridge and release the Admiral of his command!"

"This Admiral really doesn't want me on this ship, does he?"

"No, no he doesn't. Vornskr Brigade move out!"

-------------------------------------

Definitely not my best, but I was really trying to get this build out of the way so I could move onto some more terrain oriented builds (Those medium flesh and dk brown bricks are really calling my name). Anyway thanks for viewing and have a great day!

"Our mission to Corellia ended with a bang, in the matter of a couple hours the CIS incursion was dismantled and it's leaders either dead or in custody. The bounty hunter Durge had yet again slipped through the Republics grasps and his current whereabouts are unknown. After the last of the rebels has been loaded onto CSF ships bound for prisons on Corsucant we received word that our presence was needed over Kashyyyk, something about hunting down Trandoshan Slavers to better relations with the Wookies in an attempt to gain access to their secret hyperspace lanes. The prospect of hunting lizards did wonders for the men's moral, we had quite the history with those scum and the boys were excited for the chance to settle a score."

"The droid skittered forward, plowing out of the ruined temple where it was hiding and into my squad before we could react. Several troopers went down as it crashed into them, throwing them about as it stampeded towards where General Kenobi was standing. Recognizing that the droid seemed to be targeting him, the General ordered us to run as he leapt into the canopy. Realizing that the best thing I could do for my injured men was draw the rampaging droid away, I complied, firing my blaster behind me as I ran. The Mandalorian tracker kept pace with me as we raced back down the overgrown temple road, I could hear the droid behind us, carving its way through the undergrowth with the large saw mounted on it's left arm. Soon blaster fire began to fly past us, kicking up dirt and debris as it impacted ground, cursing the Mandalorian spun around and activated a wrist mounted shield, she had decided to stand her ground. Grunting I ran past her and dove behind a stone pillar, narrowly dodging a bright green blaster bolt. Peaking out from behind cover I opened up on the droid with my DC-17m, with little effect. I shouted a warning to the Mandalorian about the droids armor and reached for the DC-17ms grenade launcher, it was then that the General reappeared. General Kenobi dropped out of a tree above the droid, slicing straight through it's saw arm with his lightsaber, as he fell the General continued his attack, cutting through two of the droids six legs. I stopped what I was doing and watched as the droid reared up on it's remaining legs and attempted to cut the General down with it's missing arm. When that didn't work it tried to crush the Jedi with two of it's remaining legs only to have them cut away. General Kenobi then threw the droid into a nearby tree with the force, it landed hard and sank to the ground twitching as it's power failed. It attempted to level it's blaster on the General, but the Mandalorian was quicker, firing a wrist rocket into the droid and dispatching for good.

General Kenobi, stood there for a while contemplating the burning the droid, while the rest of my squad regrouped on my location, save a few minor bumps and bruises no one had been injured, we had been lucky. I reported this to the General, letting him know that we were ready to continue the hunt, he turned and with a grin told me that our hunt would have to wait as Ventress had fled the planet...
