Previous post showed this eagle with this fish making its way across the river heading into the trees. He did make it ... and then had breakfast in the morning lighting. Was able to get below him and nice angle with the sunlight peaking into the scene.
Deceptively peaceful, at Elmira Maple Syrup Festival, I shot this in a quiet alleyway with thousands of people milling up and down the main drag of Elmira, immediately behind me. I bought a smoked turkey leg for breakfast and Danny opted for peameal on a bun. Then we shared a funnel cake with strawberries and whipped cream.

The last of the Prunes ...98 deg....They are shriveling right on the tree as we start another heat wave .
so today I decided to experiment with using the sun as my rim light. I am really stoked about how this photo came out. I came right home and edited this, even though i really should be working on homework. I would just so much rather be shooting and editing photos! Alas!
