I love Sammy's delicate features, she's such an adorable little girl! ♥
Black t-shirt by Softly She Walks, necklace is by me, and the new wig is by Dollga. Strands of hair are wavier than I thought/as shown on official pics though, and the length isn't even. It's a very trendy and hip haircut. ^^ My fave types of wigs are usually 'flat' and straight and framing the face like real hair would but the quality of Dollga wigs is so nice that I want to try out different styles now. ^^ I've got two more wigs on pre-order already.
These flowers, again which I don’t know must be extremely hardy as they have been planted all round public places in Toowoomba, Queensland. Some are this lighter colour but many are a mauve colour.
Not only will they mostly be left to their own devices but they will have to tolerate Toowoomba’s hot and cold extremes.

4/52 So I had this idea in my head to do something like this and really try to challenge myself to do something insane, so this is how it turned out, which is pretty well i think! (the black stuff floating around is ash) I actually really enjoyed doing this and might try doing more like this. :}

Delicate Arch is a freestanding natural arch located in Arches National Park near Moab, Utah, USA.
It is the most widely-recognized landmark in Arches National Park and is depicted on both Utah license plates and a postage stamp commemorating Utah's centennial anniversary of statehood in 1996. The Olympic torch relay for the 2002 Winter Olympics passed through the arch.
A yellow delicate flower. Yellow, apart from spreading a wave of beauty, represents success and pride. Green symbolizes youthfulness and optimism. Together they spread the key for success.
This photo was taken from a Sunset flight over Arches National Park, offered from Moab by Red Tail Aviation.
Special thanks to our pilot for the day, Shane Gonzales, for his enthusiasm in showing us around and making sure we got the best possible shots!

We might kiss when we are alone
When nobody's watching
We might take it home
We might make out when nobody's there
It's not that we're scared
It's just that it's delicate

I've been so blessed to have been able to visit so many wonderful parks and places last year that I've fallen behind with my photo editing and developing.
This is from a road trip I took back in Nov. 2010.
Theresa and I hiked up to Delicate Arch after our sunrise hike out to Landscape Arch.
This hike was a strenuous 3 mile hike over open slip rock, no shade, and one part was open cliff face with no barrier. Along the open sliprock there are cairns marking the trail, but I missed one and we hiked up about 1/4 mile before I realized I hadn't seen a cairn in some time so we turned around. Sure enough I missed one. I'm glad we decided to do this hike after sunrise rather than in the dark.
Having now done this hike I feel confident that I would be able to find my way up here again with my headlamp and torch.
The young woman here doing the Yoga pose Warrior 3 was fantastic. She recited poetry, and she and a friend later sang a duet standing under the arch just there. Oh, it's so long ago now I can't remember all the words, but it was about the simple things that make you happy. It was such a wonderful and spiritual experience being up here. Those of you who have climbed to high places or sat near the sea, or been deep in the forest know what I'm talking about I am sure.
Though I have forgotten the words to the song I will never forget the feeling of peace, and happiness I felt on this morning. I am grateful for the gifts of song and poetry she and her friend gave those of us who hiked up the sliprock to Delicate Arch on the morning of November 7, 2010.

This shot is of Delicate Arch in Arches National Park, Utah. It was taken on my summer vacation to the USA this year.
Delicate Arch is the state symbol of Utah and an iconic landmark. I wanted to give the arch a sense of scale and so waited until a lone back packer stood in the middle in of the arch.
My equipment is a Canon EOS 70d and Canon 70-300mm lense. This shot was taken handheld at maximum zoom.
