I have taken photos of this beautiful animal before, but I find it an irresistable subject because of the gorgeous, unique mane. This particular shot has (to me) a delicate sensitivity, a look into the character of the animal. Yet another example here of the shockingly good bokeh of this small aperture zoom lens.

These roses were so pretty and delicate my aim was to create a final image that would illustrate how I percieved them. I've wanted to use the Orton Effect for some time and this is my first attempt. I kept the Orton Effect to a minimum though because I did not want to lose too much detail.

These orchids look so graceful at the Hong Kong Flower Show 2012
While at Arches National Park near Moab, Utah, we hiked to Delicate Arch. The views were amazing overlooking the landscape. Afterwards we drove to the lookout on the other side of Delicate Arch and hiked to the upper viewpoint. Wow! Amazing how far down over the edge!

I was just about at the end of that crazy hike to Delicate Arch when I spot it through another arch window, so I took off my 45 pound backpack that felt like a 100 pound bag of lead, and composed a shot.

Delicate Arch is a 65-foot (20 m) tall freestanding natural arch located in Arches National Park near Moab, Utah, United States.
Taken in Penang, Malaysia, can anyone help with identification of this beautiful and delicate flower ?
This could be a Spider Lily and Thanks to Macro photographer it's known as cat's whiskers, which I think I prefer!!
Gypsophila, commonly known as baby's breath, it's taken a year to for my plants to flower properly.

Learning so many things with each photo i take within this style of photography and all i can say is i am loving the journey.
Can you guess what kind of creature is this and where it lives? Clue: a small microscopic creature is feeding on it (see note).

Shots from Arches Park in Utah. The arch at the top of the ridge (delicate arch) is the most renowned of the parks arches.This shot was taken from about 1 mile away on the other side of the canyon.
Arches national park Utah. I first took snaps of this arch more than 20 years ago. Nobody was anywhere near the arch. Now people queue to pose, although for this shot no one was in the arch and all the vanished people were sat in the foreground.
The blossom time of the my apple trees in the garden is alwas a good possibility to take photos of honey bees. I love to watch them through my macro lens and to discover all kinds of details such as their beautiful wings.
