I've been meaning to take these for months. Glad I finally remembered to pack the camera. These are all part of the view I get to enjoy when I take the light rail from work to my doctor's office.

Extra points if you know the reference

Open Studios Night at the Continental Gin Building in Deep Ellum is a bit like Halloween for art lovers. You go door to door exploring three floors of studios and the artists give cookies, chocolates, cheese and wine. Lots of great art a tonight as always.

We discovered another new mural on our afternoon walk through Deep Ellum today.

She looks a bit dodgy in this photo. I like the fedora.

usan and I dropped by Deep Ellum today to see the Skele exhibit at Kettle art.. We were hoping to have lunch at Pepe's and Mito's but it was closed, so we tried the new Hattie B's. It's a franchise chicken place. Ok, but not as good as the local restaurants.

First time using folder, first time using slide film... definitely an eye opening experience.
