I like cookies so Susan and I tried the new Deep Ellum cookie store this afternoon. It's called just "Cookie Shop" and is located on Main St near Good Eats. The cookies are very large and $5 each but also tasty. Susan got an oatmeal raisin and I got the chocolate chip and walnut cookie 🍪👍
We had three assignments on subject matter - and one on shooting a shooter - during the recent Dallas Area Meetup in Deep Ellum.
I gave myself a personal challenge to capture all three of the assignments as HDR renderings - including this one that shows graffiti scratched into a weathered old step at the site.
This was a handheld shot so you will see some lack of crispness, but I like the fact that you can see the decay well...
I had to take these pictures because I was curious to see how long they would last. They're fresh circa 48Hrs, I especially like these because they painted over some painted-over graffiti and covered lots of area.
