Sono andato su Picnik, ho ritagliato la foto, inserito l'effetto SEPPIA e su "Crea", ho creato la cornice "Prima e Dopo". Fantastico, sono diventato un artista.

I awake each morning to start a new day,

But the pain of losing you never goes away.

I go about the things I have to do,

And as the hours pass, I think again of you.

I want to call you and just hear your voice.

Then I remember that I have no choice,

For you are not there and now my heart cries

Just to see you again, to tell you goodbye.

To say, "Mama I love you and I always will,"

And hope that much of you in me you've instilled.

The day that you left I just didn't know

That you were going where I couldn't go.

And now all my memories of you are so dear,

But gosh, how I miss you and wish you were here.

Who now can hear me when I need to cry?

It's so hard to tell you, "Mama goodbye."

Someday I know all will be well

And I'll see you again with stories to tell

Of how you were missed and how we have grown

And how good it is to finally be home.

Until then my memories of you I'll keep near,

And I'll pass them on to those who are dear.

Ophrys sphegodes (Orchidaceae) 067 20

Ophrys sphegodes, commonly known as the early spider-orchid, is a species of orchid native to Europe and the Middle East. It is a very varied species with many subspecies recognized.

Plant height varies with latitude. Flowers March-May (April–May in northern latitudes). Each shoot may carry between 2 and 18 flowers. The flowers have yellow-green sepals and a velvety red-brown labellum with a distinctive silvery-blue H marking so that the flowers much resemble an arthropod and especially a spider.

L'Albufera is a fresh water lake very close to the city of Valencia, Spain. In fact, the lake with the surrounding wetlands is an important Bird Area in Europe given that is an area of shelter and rest for the migratory birds.

Glasgow Cathedral

Glasgow Cathedral is dedicated to Saint Mungo and is the oldest cathedral in mainland Scotland. There are two St Mungo’s in Scotland, one here in Glasgow and the other in Orkney and are the only medieval cathedrals to have mainly survived the Reformation, some damage caused but no way near the scale of destruction inflicted on many other churches, abbeys and cathedrals.

There was a stone cathedral on the site in 1136. Incidentally St Mungo’s tomb lies in the middle of the cathedral’s lower church. Fragments of this early church have been discovered beneath the present structure. This early church was dedicated in 1197. It is thought that the major part of the construction of the current church took place in the 13th century.

After the reformation it was partitioned into three congregations (Inner High, Outer High and Barony). This partition was still in place until the early 19th century. So in 1835 a major restoration took place after the Outer High and Barony moved to another part of the city.

The Cathedral has been Crown Property since 1587, then, in 1857 it moved in care of the State. Now it is the responsibility of ‘Historic Environment Scotland’.

This photo is dedicated to my friend Rose whose 7 year old son is in the hospital with possible brain damage after nearly drowning while in the care of 8 adults in a summer program. His flotation device malfunctioned and tragically, nobody had their eye on him. Please close your eyes and send love, light and healing energy towards Tucson, Arizona. Thank you friends. UPDATE!!! GOOD NEWS-- He woke up and is responding to voices and was able to move his arm and leg when nurse asked him to!! They are taking the tubes out later today to see if he can talk and will test for brain damage. Keep sending those good vibes to Tucson, dear ones! Thank you so much for all the nice comments and love! xox

Burnout is long gone! Replaced by an abundance of creativity. I worked very hard in the last couple of months and was very productive. Mostly design stuff though - not much photography.

What helped the burnout situation? Taking a trip, spending time away, with people who love me. It helped me clear my head and start afresh. Highly recommended... it's all about balance!
