Music Link: "Meditation #2" - Laraaji & Brian Eno, from their album "Ambient 3 - Day of Radiance". In 1980 Brian Eno changed the fabric of music with four recordings titled "Ambient". This is from the only collaborative work that appeared in the series. Laraaji's hammer dulcimer or zither is treated to great effect by Eno's production and mixing work, creating an album of airy, evanescent, light filled pieces.

The Museum dedicated to the holding of the first congress of the Chinese Communist Party in July 1921 is located in the former French concession.
Built in the basement of the original building, it is made up of five rooms in a row describing the stages which led the Chinese elites to choose the path of Marxism-Leninism to free themselves from the tutelage of Western powers, established during the First World War. opium in 1840.
The photo shows the large escalator leading to the exit of the Museum.

I love Susan's style, love her dedication to her art, and her dedication to her life. Susan is a blast to wander with through her Disney World, a place she loves with a passion.
She has other passions, too, like her wonderful husband, Bill, and their beloved birds. But her love of art deco and abstracts -- that really shines through her pretty eyes. (She has the most remarkable eyes.)
Thank you, Susan, for showing me your world. I know my time in Walt Disney World was enhanced a 100-fold because you were there.

PS Tough to shoot this one -- hand-held in low light, and we were moving at a fairly quick walking pace. I know I could have bumped that ISO higher, but I wanted to keep the rich tones. So, I took the chance. Only minor blur...ah, we'll chalk that up to artistic license. Kind of a nice dark comic book feel to it. And there ya are!
PPS Hollywood Studios -- my absolute fave of all the Disney parks. I could visit there every day, and never get tired of shooting there. Wonderful photo ops -- every which way you look. Great ambiance, too.

Corcovado (Portuguese pronunciation: [koɾkoˈvadu]), meaning "hunchback" in Portuguese,is a mountain in central Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The 710-metre (2,329 ft) granite peak is located in the Tijuca Forest, a national park. It is sometimes confused with nearby Sugarloaf Mountain.
Corcovado hill lies just west of the city center but is wholly within the city limits and visible from great distances. It is known worldwide for the 38-metre (125 ft) statue of Jesus atop its peak, entitled Cristo Redentor or "Christ the Redeemer".

Burnout is long gone! Replaced by an abundance of creativity. I worked very hard in the last couple of months and was very productive. Mostly design stuff though - not much photography.
What helped the burnout situation? Taking a trip, spending time away, with people who love me. It helped me clear my head and start afresh. Highly recommended... it's all about balance!

Dedicated to all 40 cavalry regiments of the Second Polish Republic and horse artillery divisions, as well as the Battle of Komarów (1920).
The Battle of Komarów was the largest cavalry battle of the 20th century, the Polish forces numbered about 1.5 thousand soldiers, the Bolshevik forces - over 6 thousand. Despite such an advantage, the Polish cavalrymen defeated the enemy.
Location : Wola Śniatycka (15km from Zamość). Poland.

Dedicated to the saints Bartholomew, Mark and John the Baptist, it was built between 1472 and 1476 as the personal shrine for the condottiere Bartolomeo Colleoni, a member of one of the most outstanding families of the city, and his beloved daughter Medea. The site chosen was that of the sacristy of the nearby church of Santa Maria Maggiore, which was demolished by Colleoni's soldiers. The design was entrusted to Giovanni Antonio Amadeo, whose plan respected the style of the church, as can be seen from the octagonal tambour of the dome and in the lantern cusp, as well as in the use of polychrome marbles.
Капелла Коллеони – это шедевр ренессансной архитектуры. Построили достопримечательность в XV ст. и после этого не переделывали (лишь реставрировали), что является редким случаем для Италии. Эту необычайно красивую постройку, облицованную разноцветным мрамором, возвели по велению Бартоломео Коллеони (Bartolomeo Colleoni) на месте северо-западной апсиды Санта-Мария-Маджоре. Её снесли по его приказу солдаты. In all my life I have never seen anyone as devoted as this woman. Visiting the Spassky temple in Irkutsk, I followed her for a while. She cleaned up the altars and places of prayer with a small brush, as she was beautifully humming the most dreamy songs. Impressed by her mindfull dedication I was glad that one can hardly hear the shutter of my camera. She was so in trans that she didn't notice me.

we are bound togather more than anything , one flickr said "this forum is more powerful than UNO for bringing peace in the world " , and I am fully agreed to him.
Dedicated in 2004, this Boone County Kentucky park contains 43 acres and has a 1.3 mile paved path with a great view of the Ohio River. There are porta potty's and picnic shelters at both ends of the trail. Located on the downriver end of rural route 8, it's never crowded and litter free. It's a gem for a little solitude.
dedicated to those who give all to what our nation asks of them.... my hope is that the world will see how we could all live together. i put my faith in my GOD. HE is a just GOD, and knows the hearts of men. i also pray the good hearts of people around the world will find a comfort and a safe haven, no matter where they live . we should be taking care of each other, loving each other, but to do it we have to have trust, and we must feel secure, with freedom to live our lives. ... we will defend our freedoms with our lives if that is what it takes. ... make no mistake about it. and we treasure ... our just and honorable armed forces to protect us. thankyou so much. your sacrifice is not in vain... i only speak for me. but thankfully i have that right to do just that...!
