We parted ways this past Wednesday (6/19/2019) after I crashed into a telephone pole close to home in S. Chatham, MA at 40 mph. What we had experienced together over the past 7 years was absolutely amazing; wild rides, wild days, wild nights through New England, New York, Quebec and Pennsylvania. No regrets.
Dedicated to three of my friends (in no particular order since I love all of them)...Edith and Sylvia and Denise...because of the joy they have brought into my life.
Dragonflies are powerful symbols in many cultures and mythologies, and while I don't believe in fairytales, I do appreciate them.
Dragonflies are believed to stand for the achievement of clarity in later life...following a life filled with high emotions and passions. They stand for inner beauty, and the spark of creativity. And they are believed to represent the spreading of one's inner light, by reflecting love and joy into another being's life.
So, then...this image is very appropriate for the 3 women I have named. For each one carries a special inner light that they share generously with warmth, laughter, and intelligence. But especially with love. And hugs. And smiles. And a genuine joy of being.
I am so glad for the human dragonflies in my life.

Dedicated to grandma Eleanor (Eleanor WHU - www.flickr.com/photos/elcog2010/) who bears a grand name, that of Eleanor of Aquitaine and is a very gentle lady who loves London's Parks, that is Saint James Park, Kensington Gardens and Holland Park.
Pensive, though a pure product of the French educational system, is very fond of English history! Eleanor is a tantalizing name for him, as Eleanor of Aquitaine was spouse to Henry II Plantagenet. A House that ended with the Wars of the Roses, a series of dynastic wars fought between supporters of two rival branches of the royal House of Plantagenet: the houses of Lancaster and York for the throne of England. Many memories!

Photo taken from a road north of Monticello, Utah, one of those sunsets that almost make you stop the car and cause an accident. I found a safe spot on the shoulder to set up the tripod but trucks were speeding by right behind me.
This image is dedicated to my little daughter about to turn one year old - my love for you cannot be described - this image cones close, I took this this image at the Lighthouse near Cape Bailey just north of Potters Point Sydney Australia - I've shot here many times - more often than not missing out - its an unforgiving spot. I was shooting with a great photographer friend Luke Tscharke - we have shot together quite a few times now and its just easy and fun and it was great to show him this new spot. Yes the colours were that intense a magical morning, image was processed in PS CC with my usual tricks that I'm always refining. Brendan is a amateur photographer based in Sydney Australia who loves exploring and shooting sea/andscapes/nightscapes in different areas sometimes with good mates other times by himself to improve his skills. Norwich Cathedral
Norwich Cathedral is dedicated to The Holy and Undivided Trinity. Work began in 1096. The Cathedral was constructed with flint and mortar then faced with Caen limestone. Two churches plus a settlement were cleared to make room for the building. The work was completed in 1145. Originally there was a wooden spire, this was replaced in 1480, since then there have been no major alterations.
The Cloisters are the second largest in the country, Salisbury being the largest. In the large cloister there are over 1,000 bosses of many different materials, painted and unpainted. The large cloister was started in 1297 and completed in 1420 after the Black Death had raged the city.
The Spire is also the second highest in England, measuring 315ft. The spire was replaced in 1463 when lightning struck and caused the building to set fire.
Like many churches in England it has had a chequered history. The cathedral was damaged in riots in 1272, resulting in The City paying very heavy fines (In the reign of Henry III). In 1643 a Puritan mob destroyed all the Roman Catholic symbols. The building was then abandoned for two decades and was the site for many misuses, one of them a Musketeers ale house. In the reign of Charles II (1660) the work of restoration began.
Within the church there are many famous people buried there, Nurse Edith Cavell for me, being the most notable.

Panoramic view of the Mimico Waterfront Park, along which I took my grandson Quincy for a walk in his stroller this morning.
"This park lies on the Lake Ontario Waterfront between Humber Bay Park West and Norris Crescent Parkette. Its features include 1.1km of multi-use waterfront trail, headlands and cobble beaches, a small bay, boardwalks with small pockets of wetland habitat between the boardwalk and shoreline, and terrestrial and aquatic habitat enhancements to support healthy ecosystems."

I don't take shots of my flower at night because the poor flash of my point and shoot camera don't produce good night shot. Anyway, my orchids look so beautiful that night that I decided to go ahead and capture what I can with what I have. The church of Negrentino, originally dedicated to S. Ambrogio Vecchio (today in S. Carlo), is one of the most remarkable ones in Ticino. The blissful location, the Romanesque architecture and rich artistic decorations are what make it so unique. Surrounded by fields at an altitude of 850 meters, isolated and facing a cliff that opens onto a vast panorama, this example of Ticino's Romanesque and Lombard architecture preserves a timeless charm. Visiting Negrentino also offers the occasion for a first introduction to the Blenio Valley, nicknamed the valle del sole (Valley of the Sun).
The visit
The gracious church is accessible on foot in a few minutes from Leontica by crossing a modern gangway (recently installed to ease access to this important monument). The keys to access this place of worship are available at the village's tavern (osteria).
The building, built in the 11th century and mentioned for the first time in 1224, is located on the ancient transit route of the Nara Pass which connects two valleys: Blenio and Leventina. The bell tower, detached from the main body of the church, is probably from the following century.
The pictorial decorations cover most of the internal walls and can be attributed to three different eras. The extraordinary fresco located in the counter-facade of the main apses should be original to the church: it represents the Christ in the centre of a game of concentric circles symbolizing the universe that offers him a crown of thorns. Behind him, the tools of the Passion (spear and stick). On either side, the Apostles. Above, a Greek fret interrupted by two lambs and a marine animal. Below, a shoot. A very singular composition that is interpreted as either the Resurrection, the Ascension or the Universal Judgment. The color tones are delicate. The prevailing ones are aqua, okra and brick red. As a whole, it is considered an outstanding fresco with apparent Byzantine influence. The date of work is uncertain (1010-1100) but it is most certainly one of Ticino's most ancient and is often studied by researchers of the great Romanesque paintings of Northern Italy.
The other paintings in the oldest part of the church are works of the Seregnesi, active fresco painters in Ticino and in the Grisons after mid-1400s. Depicted in the main apse are classic themes of medieval churches: Christ in ‘vesica piscis’, the Four Evangelists, the Apostles. In the lower part, curtains conceal the original decoration evoked by the emerging dragon's head. On both sides, Santo Stefano and Santa Caterina. Illustrated below the arch are the King and the Prophets and in the triumphal arch, the Annunciation. Votive paintings decorate the Northern walls including Sant'Ambrogio, a Virgin Mary in a throne, a second Virgin Mary between Saint Anthony the Abbot and San Bernardino and a Crucifixion.
Another prolific workshop worked in Negrentino: around 1510 Antonio da Tradate and his aides frescoed the minor apse and the walls of the second aisle. The main thread of the apse paintings is the Life of the Virgin, developed around the central fresco depicting "Mary's Coronation". In the dividing arches, the "Assumption of the Virgin" assisted by the Apostles and musician angels. Under the arches, Prophets and Saint Anthony the Abbot.
Painted on the counter-facade is a scene of Miracle of Parabiagio: Sant'Ambrogio on a horse appears to the Milanese during the battle (1339) to support them. On the sides are illustrated Saints Gervasio and Protasio, two martyr brothers from the first centuries of Christianity.
On the Southern wall, other votive paintings can be admired.

Main story
There are two reasons why a person faces the sea.
One to enjoy a slice of shine in the sea like children bubbling over in the beach.
The other to brush the dust of memory like an old man who misses old days staring at the shine
quietly.
Those lead to only one meaning though they do not seem to overlap. It’s a rebirth.
I face myself to change tomorrow a vague day into something certain.
That is the meaning of a rebirth.
I had a very sweet girlfriend when I was 18.
After she left I knew the meaning of gentleness for the first time and also a true pain of loss. After
she left # how many times did I depend too much on her # doubt her # envy her and keep on telling lies
until I realized it is love?
I wonder whether a nobody like me could have given something to her who was struggling in the
daily life in those days. Giving something is arrogant conceit. It is nothing but self-satisfaction.
I had been thinking about such a thing.
However I guess what she saw in me was because I had nothing. That‘s why she tried to see
something in me. Perhaps she found a slight possibility in me # a guy filled with ambiguous unstable
tomorrow. But I wasted days depending too much on her gentleness.
Now I finally can convey how I felt in those days when we met.

作品にはサインなどがいっさい記されていなかったため、彼の作品だと断定できませんでした。
しかし、様々な鑑定の結果、陽の光を浴びました。
誰にも気づかれない作品。肩書がなくとも静かに語りかける作品。
僕はこれから様々な形で、多くの皆様に提供できるよう努めてゆきます。

あらすじ
大学を目指している北見ケイは、SNS上で、6歳年上のイベントコンパニオン、上村香織に出会う。
上京してきた香織の夢は、有名なアーティストの友達になるためだ。
そのためにはラジオ局のプロデューサー、大沢亮の存在が必要だった。
大沢は、ラジオの生放送中、香織へ語りかける。
「僕には妻子がある。しかし、僕は君に会いたいと思っている」
ケイの同級生で、彼を想っている三條里香は、香織の動向を探っていた。。。。。
本編
人が海へ向かう理由には、二つある。
ひとつは、波打ち際ではしゃぐ子供のように、今の瞬間の海の輝きを楽しむこと。
もうひとつは、その輝きを静かに見据えて、過ぎ去った日々を懐かしむ老人のように記憶の埃を払うこと。
二つは重なり合わないようではあるけれども、たったひとつの意味しか生まない。
再生だ。
明日っていう、曖昧な日を確実なものへと変えてゆくために、自分の存在に向き合う。
それが再生の意味だ。
十八歳だった僕には大切な人がいた。
