Located just outside of Silly Goose Kids on Danforth, this hopscotch board is a little different than the traditional ones. I love that the business has added this touch outside of their store. It humanizes the neighbourhood, and provides a nice welcome to children of all ages. I'm surprised that it has 13 squares, but only because of the widespread avoidance of the number 13.

From the looks of their tumblr account (sillygoosekids.tumblr.com/), SGK is a neighbourhood store focused on creative, intriguing toys for children. They carry books, toys, crafts and must-haves for new parents. They appear to have been around for over a decade now, and garner rave reviews on their Yelp page - for selection, staff, and experience. I love it when small businesses grow and become integral parts of the neighbourhood, and it appears that this is the case with Silly Goose Kids.

Finished the Danforth Pullover last week.
