The location: a chic urban style in downtown Portland, Maine. The event: a Tweetup with 25 of us, mostly from Maine, some from outside Maine. All enjoying a fabulous gourmet brunch.

–Egg Roulade filled with Leeks and Parmesan topped with Lobster in Sherry Butter
–Steamed, Chilled Asparagus served with a Curry Aioli
–Cabot Clothbound Aged Cheddar, French Bread
–Potato Gratin Dauphinios “Danforth” with Cabot Private Stock Cheddar
–Gorgonzola Stuffed Dates wrapped in Bacon
–Chocolate Truffles
–Earl Grey Tea Cookies
–Coffee, Tea
A large commercial sized garage/storage building on Danforth Street in Portland Maine designed by Archetype Architects. The two sides are metal siding with awning windows and brick beneath, under the precast concrete water table. The center section is bare concrete block with Kalwall translucent panels above. Eventually this center section will be covered by vines growing up the metal metal mesh "Green Screen" that is attached to the exterior of the wall.

It's not often that Toronto's Danforth Ave. is this deserted. Even on a holiday morning during the pandemic one expects to see some pedestria, bicycle, and car traffic. I had the place to myself on my morning walk this Victoria Day.
This is the restroom of the chapel at the University of Kansas, Lawrence. I took this picture because the picture really represents what the chapel meant to me as an undergraduate. It was clean, simple, functional, and a place I could come to to let go of crap that I had held on to for long enough. I miss it.
