CN A408 blasts through the quiet town of Danforth, Illinois behind three IC motors, including an SD40-3, and a repainted GTW GP38-2. The church on the right was built in 1900 and is now a private residence.
Not my best, but whatever. I like it.
Stouffville line train no.7626 blasts through a snowed-in Danforth station with F59 561 busting drifts on track 2 of the Kingston Sub. Because who shovels platforms, right?
Leased GMTX GP38-2 2233 is leading Eastern Maine Railway's 907 west past a pair of old Canadian Pacific block signals on the Mattawamkeag Sub at Danforth. Baskahegan Stream is seen flowing in the distance behind the train, connecting the Mattawamkeag River with the Crooked Lake Flowage on the other side of Danforth, which the railroad skirts around the edge of.
This one is from a 907 pursuit earlier this summer, back when the green things still roamed free. The train is seen westbound splitting the old searchlights in Danforth, Maine, where we would unfortunately lose the sun and be chased off by a late running 908.
This is a shot of the intersection at Broadview and Danforth in Toronto. I captured it on my Fujifilm Smart Shot using Ilford Delta 100 35mm film. This image was developed by Graination.

CN RDC number 1501 reincarnated as a geo car, scans the EMR Mattawamkeag Subdivision as the car heads for Saint John on September 23rd, 2023. Having crossed into the US at Van Buren on MNR, the 1501 worked its way down off of MNR to EMR at Millinocket, then to NBSR at McAdam, and back to CN at Saint John.
This catch was completely by chance, after I heard 1501 get paper south out of Millinocket. Unfortunately lighting was pretty bad, since they had to wait for EMR 909 to come on duty, to pull the rear of 910's train off the bypass to let them through, before shoving it back up onto the Millinocket Sub, for 120 to grab that night.
NBM Railways has used test trains from CN, CSX, and CP/KC to test its main lines over the years, in addition to the FRA train.

Just barely beating the train here from Danforth, I had to settle for a grab shot as the train passed Mile 32, being just a little over an hour away from the division point of McAdam, NB.

I walk Danforth Ave quite frequently and have passed by Dough Bakery quite often and until recently didn't look much beyond the door and never saw much in the window. I do love fresh baked bread and decided to pop my head in. Surpirsingly I found a wide assortment of breads and some great butter croissants which you see here among many other baked goods. And its close to home! If you like my food photography please stop by our place on the web at www.fulcrumimaging.com and follow us on Instagram @fulcrumimaging. 908 rolls through Danforth with a trifecta of -2's, each road in the NB&M portfolio represented.
The gray skies that had been with us since North Lincoln gave way to sun just as they rolled into town.
I like to think that the owners of this row house on Danforth Street carefully planned on matching their sidewalk flowers to their front door.
