HFF!

Not only did I nearly forget to post a photo today but I forgot that it was Fench Friday! How could I? Fortunately I had already prepared a fence photo for such an occasion.

December 1, 2015 - Today was a morning of wrapping up the workshop followed by a couple of flights to get home. The flight from Bella Bella to Campbell River was completely in the clouds, with nothing to look at but the inside of a pillowcase.

But the flight from Campbell River to Vancouver was spectacular!

I've made more than 2,000 posts for my wordpress blog "flickrcomments" - if it wouldn't be online but printed on paper, maybe I could fill some books...

December 3, 2015 - Today was a good day to leave, it would not have been a good day to have tried to try to put in any further sightseeing.

November 8, 2015 - Not much to say today, it was a quiet Sunday, and that's just what was needed.

So today's photo is just a simple pile of pins.

Daily Post #38

HFF!

No walls today, just a fence...and some more blossom.

Hope your weekend is a good one!

Aurora Borealis above Cardigan Bay. I was lucky to capture a likeness to the Welsh dragon in the clouds right below the saucepan shaped Star constellation that forms Ursa Major, also known as the 'Big Dipper' I thought to myself that the dragon could be heating up the 'sospan fach' (little saucepan) a popular traditional welsh folk song!

October 21, 2015 - Day four on the Island, took a little drive after we finished for the day and before heading back to my hotel. The forest was so quiet that I could hear the wings of the ravens as they flew high in the trees. Trees that grow tall and fast in these parts.

Fallow deer bucks, lovely antlers on the big boy on the right. I believe that the prominent lump in his throat is to enable him to bellow deeper and louder during the rutting season to improve his chances of attracting a mate. (Happy to be corrected).

This pond is just runoff and will be gone as he weather warms up. Pretty now!

October 10, 2015 - If you've only ever used the small white heads of garlic for your cooking, you don't know what you've been missing. At this time of year in the Valley around Vancouver, if you visit the farmer’s markets and fall produce stands, this garlic is ready for purchase and it’s oh so much better than what is usually available at other times of the year.

Flood control pond along Miner's Ravine Trail in Roseville.

Just loved the light at that moment.

Removed from The Snapper Snapped group as there is no photographer in the picture which is correct and it is right that it was removed. If we add to a Group we should be aware of their rules for uploading.

November 3, 2015 - No reason for the photo, not much to say. Just a carton of eggs from the side.

This is a footbridge here in town at Berg Park that goes over the Animas River. An added bonus; I got a nice little hike out of this shot!

November 19, 2015 - Most of the time I am very proud of the symbolism that is attached to the maple leaf. But lately, with the knee jerk reactions to refugees seeking safety, I'm a bit embarrassed.

Well aren't I doing well at this upload-a-photo-a-day. I've failed by day 2. If I was doing a 365 I'd be dead by now. I'll try and dig another photo out today to rescue myself.

This is probably the only shot I was vaguely happy with when I went for a walk in the mist a few months ago. Everything looked so pretty, and then the camera turned it into rubbish. Yes, the camera, it was my tools. The tools are always to blame.

Today, along Miner's Ravine Trail in Roseville

November 20, 2015 - Not a bad mode of transportation on a beautiful day like today :)

At least in this part of the state. This is the most beautiful time of year to drive thru the San Joaquin Valley...as far as you can see are orchards in bloom. Even the air is saturated with the scent of the blossoms. It was a beautiful drive yesterday...
