Teaching Year 8 Geography has made me aware of different things

This guy was telling me that he plays clarinet in SF in the park and that he always feeds pigeons. "Someone's got to take care of them"

This was a quite surreal scene on the way to work this morning

This morning's walk with Clara turned into an adventure in corralling two dogs (this chubby slow one, and one incredibly hyper, fast, large, bouncy one) who had gotten out of their backyard.

We were 15 minutes late for school, but the dogs got home safely, I connected with a few of my neighbors who I've never really talked to before, and Clara had an exciting tale to share with her classmates.

I stopped on my way home to take a picture of this tree because it was so brilliant. This photo really doesn't do it justice. I adore fall. It was the perfect fall day... a bit of a nip to the air, fluffy clouds and sun shining.

I finally got the scanner hooked up.

Well, my daily commute these days usually involves just going from room to room. But today we got a snow storm so everyone got to ignore their daily commute and instead hang around, nap, eat, watch TV (E. is re-watching the John Adams mini series).
